Mr Grant, Please Be Gentle

Chapter 1645 : Why don’t you believe me?

“Not angry.” Selina shook her head, recently Charles White was getting better and better to her, could see her sullenness and take care of her emotions.

There is no better person in this world than Charles White.

Auntie wondered, “And because of what?”

“Because …” Selina bit her lip, remembering again the words that had caused her pain.

“Because I live a failure, the whole world is saying I’m bad, and I, too, agree with them that I really don’t deserve it.”

“Who dares to say you don’t deserve it!” Charles White pushed in the door, he had been listening at the door, he had seen his aunt crying and wanted to come in to stop it for fear of affecting Selina’s emotions, but instead he heard the reason for Selina’s suicide.

Selina immediately lowered her head, she did not dare to meet Charles White’s gaze, she was afraid.

Charles White was even more angry and took a few steps over to Selina, forcing her to look at him.

“Tell me who said you don’t deserve to live? Who has pointed fingers at you?!”

Charles White was furious and when he saw Selina didn’t answer a word, he slammed his fist on the wall.

“Ouch sir!” Auntie’s heart to go back home jumped out again, she couldn’t stand the excitement, the host family was hurting themselves one by one.

Selina closed her eyes in fear and went to see Charles White’s right hand smashed on the wall.

The wind of the fist that grazed her ear made Selina feel a jolt, so she could see how hard Charles White was hitting, and his hand must have been hurt.

“You can say to your aunt, why just play dumb in front of me!”

“It’s … because of your secretaries, who say I’m ugly and not good enough for you.”

Selina finally said it, and the answer was something Charles White hadn’t counted on in a thousand calculations.

He knew that Selina depression outbreak does not need to be stimulated by something more serious, a small detail can even make her mental capacity collapse.

But I never thought it would be because of this.

“I’m a good-for-nothing person.” Selina said and cried again, her long eyelashes stained with tears and her nose red.

Charles White looked at her with both difficulty and helplessness, but was able to understand.

Some postpartum depressed patients even appear to kill their children for no apparent reason.ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .

Charles White pressed his forehead against hers, “I keep saying you’re beautiful, but you believe the group that says you’re ugly, why don’t you believe me?”

“You are surrounded by beautiful women, all better looking than me, you must be making fun of me by saying that.” Selina choked up, she actually thought she was unattractive too, fat and ugly, with some stretch marks on her face.

Charles White scratched her nose: “No, there is no other woman in my eyes, so you should not compare yourself with those people, you are still recovering from childbirth, and you were very thin before you had Osmond …”

Explaining to her sentence by sentence and giving her a comparison of the figures of post-birth and non-birth women, Selina felt much better.

“From now on, I will accompany you to do postpartum recovery and work out every day, okay?”

“Good.” Selina nodded her head.

Auntie was watching Selina finally break into tears and smiles, her heart tired but doubly relieved.

“Sir, your hand is broken.”

“It’s okay, auntie, you go next door to rest first, I’ll take care of Selina tonight.”

“Okay.” Auntie retreated and gently closed the door of the ward on her way out.

Charles White touched Selina’s face, and couldn’t help but pinch it twice.

Selina’s hand couldn’t move, so she had to shake her head, and didn’t shake off the hand that was lingering on her cheek.

Charles White’s head was lying on Selina’s stomach, and he now looked and sounded as if he was deeply attached to her.

“Do you know that I almost lost you.”
