Bailey's pov
I quickly created distance between Kaleb and me as my heart pounded in my chest furiously. Where we were you'd not be able to spot us as soon as you enter, but there was a good chance Mira would walk over here.
I looked at Kaleb, pleading with him to help me make sure she doesn't find out in this way. He nods and motions me to hurry up go over there so she wouldn't have time to get here to see us both.
I nod and gripped my bag while rushing over to the door. I had just took the left turn when I saw her ready to walk further in. When she saw me her brows knot. " Why do you look as though you've just stumbled upon a ghost?"
I smiled awkwardly. " You know how I hate being late for class. I'm kind of panicking." I lied and she bought it.
" Katrina already went to her class, we're not that late to ours." She said as we stepped out of the library. " You're coming with me to the after party after the guys win by the way."
I gave her a look. I agreed to come to the game, not a party. Dad would kill me.
" My dad-
" Will allow you if I beg him on my knees. I need both you and Katrina there, I can't go alone." She pouted as we scurry our way to the class.
I sighed. " Mira, we promised to not go to any parties anymore."
She scratch the back of her head, wincing. " I know but I just made a deal with Ryan again and I'm not losing that hundred bucks. I'll split it with you and Katrina."
" Another bet Mira? Really? Remember how that turned out the last time?"
She cringed and nod. " I know, I had to clean up the used condoms in Kaleb's room," she shivered and gagged. " But this time it's not our house and there is money involved."
" Who's house is it?" I inquired.
" Ryan's." She shrugged. " I'm going to make a huge ass mess too. Make sure he'll be cleaning for days."
There was something she wasn't telling me and I wanted to know. " Mira." I hummed.
She gave me a nervous glance as though she knew what I was about to ask her. " What is this bet about this time?"
To my surprise Mira's face flamed brightly and she stuttered. " Oh look, the classroom." she pointed at the door. " We should hurry before Mr. Elis doesn't allow us to enter."
She completely swept my question under the rug which made me intrigued to know the bet she and Ryan made between each other. Intrigued enough to want to go to the party, even though we were not sure if we'd win anyway.

The crowd goes wild around me, the loud cheers making my ears ring. The boys aren't here yet, the game hasn't started but the cheerleaders were doing their routines.
I spotted Katrina right away and she waved at Mira and I just before she did a flip.
" That lucky bitch. I can only wish I was this flexible," Mira grumble, staring at Katrina in awe. I giggled and nod.
" It's not to late to join. Heard there is a missing spot on the team after Hessa broke her ankle." I teased her, knowing fully well that Mira didn't have one cheer bone in her body.
Mira entertained me by flipping her hair and snorting. " I just might. I'll be better than Hessa anyway."
I snorted a chuckle. " Right, by being more clumsy."
She faked glared at me. " You take that back."
I laughed but it ceased when she spotted us. In her hand is a cup of coffee and on her face is a bright beam as she stared at us. I stiffen when she makes her way over.
Who drinks coffee before a game?
" Mirabella and Bailey!" Her grin widens as she swoop past people, making sure to not stumble forward. She'd have to walk past me to have that empty seat beside Mira.
Mira waves at her politely, though she groaned under her breath.
Juliet practically skips towards us but when she got closer to me, a glint in her eyes made the hairs behind my neck stand up. This girl was up to something.
Just as I was about to straighten in my seat to allow her to pass without a hassle, Juliet stumbles and....her cup of coffee spills on my shirt. The liquid wasn't hot but it was warm and seeped quickly through the material of the shirt and touched my skin.
I gasped, wrenching back as she tries to right herself. I look down at my shirt. It was white so the coffee stain looked awful.
"Shit!" Mira yelled, looking at me frightened. She tries to clean up my shirt with the tissue she had for her hotdog.
I winced, looking up at Juliet. From others perspective she seems legit sorry but I knew that hidden glint in her eyes all too well.
" Oh I'm so sorry Bailey. Gosh I didn't mean to." She apologized, making show of 'trying' to clean off my shirt. Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.
" It's fine, maybe next time don't wear heels you can't walk in, to a game," I gritted out and ignored her while focusing on Mira. " I have a spare shirt in my locker, I'll go change and be back before the game starts."
Mira looks worried. " Want me to come with?"
I shook my head no. " No, you stay here so you won't miss anything. I'll be back soon, you won't even notice I was gone."
She still looked unsure. " I'm serious Mira, I'm okay and I'll be back. Hold my seat for me." I said as I stood up, not caring that I nearly pushed Juilet down the bleachers when I did.
" Okay. I'll buy a hotdog for you when you get back!" She yelled after me as I try to walk away quickly so I can be back before the game starts.

It's kind of quiet in here, not many students roaming around in the halls. Most were already on the bleachers waiting for the game.
As I passed the boy's locker room I can hear their rowdy laughs. They were still in there getting ready.
My locker wasn't far out and in fact was just a few steps away. I opened it and looked around, frowning when I didn't see the spare shirt I always had in case of emergencies like this. I always had spare clothes.
My ears perked when I heard the locker room door open and bang, my breathing turning a bit hasty when I peeked in the corner of my eye to see his silhouette.
It's like there was a magnet between us because he saw me right away and made his way over. I bit the inside of my cheek and pretended to not have noticed him.
" Flower," He whispered as he leaned against the locker beside mine.
I had no choice but to look at him and swallowed when he smiled. I looked away. " Aren't you suppose to be with your team, getting ready?"
" I always take a walk before the game starts. It calms me down."
I tried to pretend that I was still searching for something when this was futile. I didn't have a spare shirt!
"You spilled your coffee? I always thought you slurped well, especially that night. I guess you choose what you want to slurp perfectly. " He chuckled, knowing exactly what his words would do to me.
They made me flush and I close my locker quickly, turning to him with a fake glare. No point in pretending to not be that girl from the party he fucked.
" Can you for one second, not tease me about that night."
His smirk widen as he leaned closer, his wet hair spilling over his forehead. " So my little flower finally admits it was her."
I rolled my eyes despite feeling mortified. "Goodbye Kaleb."
I made a move to walk away but he grabs my hand. " You planning to go out like that?" He nudged his chin to my coffee stained shirt.
It looked awful and I reeked of coffee. I shrug. " Yes, I have no spare shirt."
He nod, lets me go and shocks me when he pulls his jersey over his head and hands it to me. " Here wear this."
I'm shocked as I stare at his jersey.
" Come on baby, you have no other shirt and besides, I have a spare. This one was a bit tight anyway." He pushed the shirt in my hands in my shocked state and leaned down to kiss me on my cheek and murmured. " All my scores will be for you tonight baby."
With those words Kaleb turned around to walk away, leaving me standing there in a state of shock.
