Chapter 39 The Chairman Of Centurion Corporation

“Chairman, everything is well prepared, and there won’t be any issues at all,” Amanda reported

confidently.

Christopher took a couple of glances and concluded, “I have faith in Ms. Reed’s capability. The one that

she has selected can’t be bad.” Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

“Thank you, Chairman.”

Amanda was all worked up when she received praise from Christopher. After all, he was the chairman

of the company she worked at.

Right then, Amanda’s phone buzzed with an incoming message. She swiftly took out her phone and

checked. Upon reading the message, she chuckled. “Chairman, that scum Jared is hoping to meet up

with me. He must be daydreaming!”

“It’s okay. Let him experience what it feels like to have his dream come true. I think you should meet

him. After all, he has invested millions,” Christopher commented sarcastically.

For a talented individual who deserved the position of Diane’s secretary, it was not difficult for Amanda

to read her boss’ mind. “Got it. I’ll inform him right away.”

“All right, I’ve got to go down now.”

Christopher rose to his feet and left. Amanda trailed behind him to send him off. Despite his casual

outfit, Christopher was indeed the chairman of Centurion Corporation.

As if that was not shocking enough, he was also connected to Hubbard Group somehow.

The moment Christopher returned downstairs, he ran into Jared and Daniel. The latter was instantly

enraged as he recalled the unpleasant incident that happened in the past. “Darn it, you useless piece

of trash! Who let you in? Get lost now, or I’ll call the security guards!”

Christopher stared at Daniel with a darkened expression. Conversely, Jared grinned and said, “It was I

who let him in. Christopher, the room upstairs is the presidential suite of Centurion Hotel. I allowed you

to step foot into the hotel because I pitied you guys. However, that doesn’t mean that you can roam

around freely.”

Refusing to waste any of his time entertaining the two men, Christopher headed directly to the banquet

hall.

“Mr. Cordrington, why did you let trash like him into the hotel? He’s just a military soldier. Who does he

think he is to threaten me previously?” Daniel held a deep grudge against Christopher.

“I want him to witness my success. Anyhow, let’s not be bothered by a retired soldier. Ms. Clark is still

waiting for us. A riff-raff like Christopher will never be able to meet up with people like Ms. Clark in his

whole life!” Jared smirked smugly.

“That’s so true. Even I don’t have this privilege,” Daniel added.

Unbeknownst to them, Amanda would never have agreed to see them if Christopher had not given her

permission to do so.

Upon noticing Christopher’s return, Julianna asked anxiously, “Where have you been?”

“Oh, my tummy was upset, so I went to the restroom,” replied Christopher with a smile.

“Hmph! What a country bumpkin! Don’t simply walk around. If you accidentally damage anything in

Centurion Hotel, you won’t be able to pay them back even if I sell you off.” After saying so, Frank

stuffed a huge lobster into his mouth and gobbled down the food greedily.

Christopher scoffed coldly at his ignorance. Why can’t I afford it when I own the entire Centurion Hotel?

How ridiculous!

Soon, someone came over and notified them that the tender was going to begin.

By then, Jared had returned to the cocktail party. He was bursting with excitement after having met up

with the secretary to the general manager of Centurion Corporation. What an honor that was!

“Mr. Cordrington, the tender is commencing shortly,” Fabio alerted Jared in a low voice.
