My Gentle Wife is a Real Divine Being

Chapter 847

Debra was startled, worried that it was Marion. She couldn’t let him see her like that.

She quickly braced herself against the bathroom door, and sure enough, Marion’s anxious voice rang out from the other side. “Debra?”

She barely managed, “It’s just collywobbles. Just go wait outside.”

Her tone was a bit reproachful, and Marion frowned. “Did you eat something bad tonight?”

“Yeah, maybe,” she replied, trying to keep her voice steady. “Can you go get me some medicine?”

Marion agreed, “Okay, I’ll be right back.”

Debra breathed a sigh of relief as she heard Marion leave. She tottered to the bathtub and splashed cold water on her face, trying to stay conscious. Her hands were shaking so much that the water soaked her clothes.

Marion came back and knocked lightly. “I’ll leave the medicine on the table. Andrew wants to see me. I’ll be back soon.”

“Go ahead. I’ll be fine,” Debra managed, hanging on a shard of senses.

As Marion’s footsteps faded away, she opened the bathroom door, trying to come out.

“Marion?”

“I’m not that easy to fool.”

He placed her on the bed and reassured her, “I’ll stay with you.”

“Don’t go,” Debra muttered, already in a delirious state.

Her face was pale, almost devoid of color. Marion held her hand tightly. “I’m here. I’ll always be here.”

Debra managed a weak smile, but the pain quickly overwhelmed her, and she cried out in From NôvelDrama.Org.

A voice in her head screamed, telling her that just a little bit of the drug would take away the pain. This urge was stronger than ever, and she felt like she needed to knock herself out to escape the torment.

Marion blocked her head with his hand as she tried to hit the wall, but she was already out of her mind with pain. She bit down hard on his arm, almost tearing his flesh.

Marion grunted but didn’t pull his arm away. If he did, Debra might bite her tongue.

Randy and Erica heard the commotion and rushed upstairs. “What’s going on? What happened?”
