Chapter 61
Chapter 61
“Ah!” Everyone erupted into terrified screams and began running frantically out of the hall. They did not want to be the next one with a pierced throat!
Cheryl watched desperately as her guests raced out of the hall as fast as their legs could carry them. Finally, she turned to glare at Liam, tears spilling down her face. Her blood was boiling with hatred for
Celena and Liam.
Why could she not leave her alone? Not only had Celena always stolen everyone’s attention from her but now her man had
gatecrashed and ruined her engagement party, the one she had put so much time and effort into planning!
“Liam Cole! You ruined my party! You’re going to pay for this!” Cheryl finally could not stand it anymore. She picked up a fruit knife on the nearest table and lunged toward Liam, aiming the blade right at his
left chest!
Liam watched calmly as Cheryl’s grotesque face stormed toward him at breakneck speed whilst everyone else ran away from him as fast as possible.
All of a sudden, the glinting blade halted just an inch away from Liam.
In Liam’s eyes, Cheryl was like moving in slow motion. All he needed to do was lift his arm to grab her wrist and stop her. He watched her coldly and said, “Do you honestly think I’d let you go after all
the heinous things you did to Celena?”
“Celena is a bitch! It was all her own fault! She was a whore and only ended up like this because she chose to be with you!” Cheryl
screamed like a banshee.

Thud!
Liam’s blood boiled when he heard that. All of a sudden, he twisted her arm and pried the knife out of her hand while at the same time sending her flying backward.
Before she could realize what was happening, Cheryl watched the blade fly toward her. It just scraped the skin of her cheek before finally embedding itself in the pillar right next to her. The hilt vibrated from the impact, making a faint buzzing sound that echoed through
the room.
Cheryl was so astounded by it and more so, terrified of the man before her. She did not even notice the knife had cut her cheek. Instead, she stood there in disbelief, her entire body trembling.
Liam turned around and gently draped the black cloth back over his parents’ ash boxes. Seeing this, Calum stepped forward and picked up the two ash boxes carefully, then stood behind Liam and awaited
further orders.
Liam glanced at the rest of the Stones with a steely look. “Stones! I’m not finished with any of you just yet! Help me pass on the same message to all the other families involved in my parents’
downfall! I will visit them one by one, and if they want to have a smooth passing, they should all prepare their own caskets!”
With that, he turned and strode out of the room.
“Ouch! My cheek! It hurts!” Cheryl finally realized that she had been cut and desperately cupped her stinging cheek. When she found that her hand was covered in blood, she let out a petrified scream.
She turned to watch Liam leave, howling in agony. Finally, when Liam’s retreating figure had disappeared from her sight, Cheryl slumped onto the chair behind her. All the light had left her eyes.
A split second later, something occurred to her. She quickly sprinted over to Patrick and asked, “Patrick, are you okay? How are you? I’m so sorry. I had no idea something like this would happen! It’s all my…” Content rights by NôvelDr//ama.Org.
Before she could even finish, Patrick shoved her aside and even gave her a slap for good measure. “You bitch! Your family is the one who got us into this mess! I’m utterly humiliated! My father will hear of this, and we will make you reap the consequences!”
