"Reese, you need to relax. The doctor said he would be right back with the results. "I just don't

understand why he can't do the ultrasound so we can see the pup. I already know you are pregnant," Reese says. I fight the urge to roll my eyes. "Reese, the doctor has already explaine that I am too early to do an ultrasound. We have been mated for less than two weeks. Let the

doctor do his job, Reese."

"Fine" he says with a pout which makes me chuckle. A few minutes later, the door opens, and the doctor steps into the room, smiling ear to ear. "Congratulations Alpha and Luna, you are definitely pregnant. In fact, your levels are higher than I expected them to be." "Why are her levels high? Does that mean something is wrong with the pup," Reese says, his voice laced

with worry.

The doctor chuckles and Reese growls low in warning. "Reese, love, relax. You are getting yourself all worked up before the doctor has a chance to answer." "I'm sorry, Alpha. I meant no disrespect. I understand becoming a father the first time can be a little nerve racking. I promise you that the levels do not mean there is anything wrong with the pup. Higher than normal levels may indicate there are multiple pups, but we won't know until we are able to do an ultrasound," the doctor says.

"More than one pup" Reese whispers. His eyes meet mine and I can see unshed tears. The sound of the door closing lets me know the doctor is giving us a few minutes alone. The intensity and love in Reese's eyes takes my breath away. I will never be sorry for choosing him despite his past. He has shown me the man he was always meant to be.

He steps forward and pulls me into his arms. I bury my face in his chest, enjoying the feeling of his warmth wrapped around me. "Thank you for choosing me, Mindy. Thank you for making me whole again. Thank you for the gift of making me a father. I will spend the rest of my life showing you how much I love you."

We leave the hospital, taking the path back to the pack house. We have decided to wait until I'm further along to tell the pack but we both agreed we want Maureen and Addie to know

I can see concern flash in Reese's eyes before he speaks again. "You're not using magic to teleport him there. We can make the drive after giving that pr*ck wolfsbane to keep him under control. Why does your uncle want him anyway? Why not just let us deal with my uncle,"

Reese asks.

When he pulls back, he leads me over to his chair and pulls me onto his lap. A few minutes later, the door to the office opens and Maureen and Addie step inside. "Reese, do you ever let the poor girl out of your sight? She is going to get sick of seeing your face if you don't give her five minutes of peace," his mother says, and I can't help but giggle.

"How do you know it's not her that won't let me out of her sight mother," Reese asks, pretending he's hurt by her teasing. "We both know that's not true big brother" Addie says. "I can't believe my sister and mother would say such things. I guess we won't tell you the news we have" he says. "What news," Maureen says, all signs of kidding gone.

Reese looks at me and I smile. "I'm pregnant," I say and squeals pierce the air. "Oh, my goddess, I'm going to be a grandma" Maureen says. "I'm going to be an auntie. I can't wait to

tell Rosie," Addie says. "It's fine if you tell Rosie and Beck, but we want to wait to tell the pack until the pregnancy if further along" Reese says. "Of course, my lips are sealed" Addie says.

They both hug me and then Reese. "Addie, we will be making the trip to the Blue Crescent

after breakfast tomorrow." Addie squeals again, wrapping her arms around my neck. "Thank you for letting me come. I can't wait for the three of us to spend time together. No boys allowed" Addie says, and Reese growls. Addie and Maureen leave and we spend the rest of

the day hold up in Reese's office talking about our future.

Jayden POV

The whole way back to the pack I can't help but smile as Lily talks non-stop. Knowing she is the biggest reason that Beck left has lessened my anger at him. I'm not ready to completely forget everything that I've been through, but I'm ready to try to forgive my brother. Seeing Lily, I

know I would burn the world down to keep my pup safe and in a way Beck did. I don't believe he intended for Jacob and I to be hurt in the process.

As we pull up to the pack house, Lily bounces in her seat. "Is this our new house mommy? It's

big" she says. "It is really big. Yes, we're going to live here now with Uncle Jayden and Uncle Jacob. Jayden I assume your going to check on Fredrick." As soon as his name leaves her lips I notice he is standing on the pack house steps. "I guess I won't have to. He is over there, and

he looks like he is waiting on us." "Uncle Jayden, will you come see my new room" Lily asks and I smile. "Of course, after I go talk to my friend I'll come find you."

Once Rosalyn has her unbuckled she leans up to kiss my cheek before Rosalyn picks her up.
