MY ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR ARROGANT

Liam pushed open his door to his office which erupted a loud bang. His whole mood has gone sour after he read Amelia’s report.

His assistant came in panting slightly “Boss the clients are here”

Liam casted her a look of hatred which made her gulp down nervously. “Get out!!!”

She shuddered slightly by the firm and thunderous tone he used on her.

Liam ran his hand through his hair releasing small gasps, his heart wasn’t convinced that Amelia would do such a thing.

“I’m sure there is a mistake somewhere, she can’t possibly do anything of that sought” he mumbled beneath his breathe while pacing around..

Nicholas leaned forward to Amelia’s ears and whispered softly into it. “Everything will be okay Amelia”

Amelia pulled away from him and stared at him as if disgusted by his presence.

Nicholas noticed her reaction and bowed his head in shame.

“I know that you are still mad at me for what happened but Amelia I can’t bear to see you hurt this way”

Nicholas stared at the car quite a distance away from them.

He knew Jane was doing the second phase of the plan and he had to make it believable.

“I have to leave now” Amelia announced and started walking away.

“Amelia at least tell me what is bothering you”

Cecile rubbed her arm slightly, what her daughter did today was just unacceptable. She saw a shadow looming around her and before she could speak a hand was placed over her mouth.

“I’m here for my daughter and I know she is somewhere around here”

Cecile pulled Anthony’s hand away from her mouth forcefully. “Who do you think you are to determine who my daughter stays with or not”

“I’m her father, so you better tell me where she is now!”

Cecile picked up her purse and hurried out, she didn’t want anything to do with Anthony anymore and he won’t be allowed to see Amelia no matter what!

Anthony chased after her, he caught up with her and grabbed her arm yanking her into an empty ward in the hospital.

“You won’t be able to get out of here without giving me an information about my daughter”

Cecile scowled at him, how dare he address Amelia as his daughter? has he forgotten how much he maltreated her in the name of marriage?

“I’m very sure that Amelia is not your only child why don’t you go back to your numerous mistresses and demand your children from them and let me and my daughter be!”

Anthony raised his hand to hit her but his hand was caught mid air by Cecile.

“Don’t make that mistake Anthony! I’m not that same weak Cecile who you treated like trash all those years ago if you try as much as to pull a strand of my hair I will surely make you regret it!”

Cecile spat spitefully at him, a part of her enjoyed the different shades of red that crossed his face at that moment.

Anthony’s eyes were bloodshot as he stared at the woman in front of him, he really didn’t think that she will be able to stand up for herself like she did just now.

It seems she had changed a lot, the Cecile he knew would have been wailing by now.

“Spending your time with young men has managed to make you a little bit…..

His face fell to the other side as soon as he was slapped by her.

“Don’t you dare make that filthy accusation against me Anthony there’s a clear difference between you and I and I can never stoop to your level”

She placed her two palm together in a praying pose. “And that’s why I’m asking you to stay far away from I and my daughter we don’t need you in our lives anymore”

“You’ve openly challenged my power and authority Cecile”

Amelia pushed the door to Liam’s office with the assistant running after her. “Ma’am he doesn’t want any guest!”

Amelia stopped on her tracks when she spotted him sitting calmly behind his desk.

“Liam what do you think of yourself huh?”

Liam closed his eyes facing the upwards, he was fighting hard to trust her but his mind and head were in conflicts at the moment.

“Amelia please don’t make matter worse”

“Do you really think that i will terminate our child? is this the trust you have in me? I’m telling you that the report was false, I was never pregnant to begin with!”

“And how do I believe that? you could have just told me that you weren’t ready to have a child yet and I would have understood”

Amelia walked around the long table to stand in front of him, he swirled his chair to the other side. Amelia swirled the chair back for him to face her.

“I once told you that we can have children once my ongoing movie shoot was over but you…..

“And that was the main reason you aborted my child? this doesn’t seem like something you would do Amelia”

Amelia’s heart skipped a beat “it’s really sad to see that you have no trust in me”

Liam banged his hand on the desk to keep her shut. “All you care about is your career and nothing more! you badly wanted to complete your movie shoot that you chose to terminate my child!”

Amelia threw a slap to his face “Keep quiet Liam and don’t question my character I was never pregnant how could you think so low of me?”

Liam drew in a deep breath, “Please leave I don’t want this to escalate”

“Are you forgetting something Liam? we never conducted a pregnancy test so why did that result come out? don’t you find it fishy?”

Liam stroked his chin softly, he doesn’t know what to believe or not, his heart ached for doubting Amelia but the report was against her.

“I don’t blame you at all Liam but hearing you say those words to me hurt me deeply”

Liam watched her leave his office, immediately she stepped out, he took out his phone.

“Find out about Amelia’s report and get back to me as soon as possible”

Louisa embraced Amelia who was wailing her eyes out. “Amy it’s okay I’m very sure that Mr Grayson would sought things out by himself”

“How can he do that when he himself doesn’t believe me, he thinks that I terminated my pregnancy and I was never pregnant”

Louisa sighed patting Amelia’s back softly “when did you become such a big baby? forget all that and think of a way to stop this false allegations”

Amelia wiped her tears, as soon as she recalled something. “I know who is responsible for all these, he has been planning for a long time on how to get rid of me and this is how he planned to do it but I won’t spare him!”

“Who….. who could that be?”

“Liam’s grandfather! that oldie crossed the limit with me and I won’t spare him”

“Boss we have some news about young miss report and we also managed to get this from the CCTV footage of the hospital”

Liam collected the brown colored file from the man in front of him, he tore open the envelope impatiently and went through the contents which stated otherwise.

“Play the footage” he ordered calmly stroking his chin.
