Louisa closed her eyes for a brief second and turned around stomping her way out of the meeting room.

She came out and threw her purse harshly over a desk. “How dare he speak to me in that tone? he embarrassed me in front of everyone” she screeched furiously and kicked the air in anger.

Louisa paced around the corridor waiting for the doors to be opened, she glanced briefly at the clock, she had been standing for up to one hour now.

What were they even talking about? her hands itched it open the door but she gave up the thought.

She sat down on a chair and brought out her phone, just then the door opened.

“I thought you had finally come back to your senses”

Louisa sprang up to her feet and turned to him, she stared at her feet. “Dylan I know that you are mad at me but I…..”

“What did you just address me as?” he growled at her and grabbed her chin.

Louisa pulled his hands off forcefully “Okay…. that is enough now, I noticed you’ve been behaving strangely, you have no idea of how happy I am to see you back”

“In your absence everyone blamed me for your disappearance… I called a few times but…”she added only to be cut off.

“That’s all in the past now ….. and I don’t like mixing my personal and business life together so do yourself a favor and come with me”

Louisa closed the door behind her as soon as she entered his office.

“Darling…. there you are I’ve been waiting for so long, anyways thank goodness that you are here….”

Louisa raised her head after hearing the feminine voice in the office, her brows furrowed as she recognized the lady.

She watched them embrace each other affectionately.

Clara turned towards Louisa “and you are…?” she asked with raised brows.

Dylan guided her to sit “She? she is just an employee… well forget about her and tell me why you came all the way here”

Louisa folded her arm in anger, did he bring her here to make her watch this? and why was she with Dylan? she thought Clara and Karl were a thing.

Clara brought out a magazine and opened it in front of Dylan.”baby look at this…. mum asked me to pick a ring design for our wedding which one do you like the most?”

Louisa’s face fell, what wedding? none of these drama was making any sense to her. The world knows that she is Dylan’s real fiance so what the hell is going on here?

“Wedding?” she blurted out.

The two snapped their heads to her direction, “Yeah… do you have a problem with it?” Dylan asked in a sharp tone.

Louisa’s lips parted in disbelief “You got engaged to her?…. and what about me? you’ve already humiliated me enough when you ran away for some days and now? the world will definitely mock me”

Dylan raised a brow at her outburst “Our engagement?” he laughed out followed by a loud scoff.

“That wasn’t an engagement, it was a child’s play, I’m only engaged to one lady and our wedding will be coming up on next month”

Louisa took few steps towards them “And what will I say when everyone asks me about this?” she raised her finger revealing a ring.

Dylan stared at her in unbelief, she was still putting it on? he turned to Clara who nodded at him.

He got up from his seat and stood in front of Louisa.”take it off!”

“what?”

Dylan held her hand and slid the ring off her finger. “You also wanted this weeks back and now I have finally freed you from the trouble”

He passed the ring to Clara who examined it for a while, after which she tossed it out of the window.

Louisa clenched her hands by her side as she sent a chilly gaze to Dylan. “I always knew it…. I knew playboys never change their habits and that’s exactly what you did… thank goodness that I didn’t fall for your cheap lies”

“I’m still your boss miss Louisa!”

Louisa! now he addresses her with her full name? what happened to him during those days he was away? and how did he meet this fox?

“Baby I need a cup of hot tea…” Clara whined stroking his arm.

“You heard her”

Louisa turned around and stomped out of the office, immediately she was gone Clara bursted out laughing at Dylan.

“Dude.. you are really pathetic”

Dylan narrowed his eyes at her “You are unbelievable Clara”

Clara brought out the ring and placed it on the table. “This ring is really pretty”

Dylan gaped in shock, didn’t she throw it out? he thought she did.

“If this is still here, then what did you throw out?”

“Your car keys!” she said nonchalantly staring at the magazine.

Clara rolled her eyes at him “You can still find it or get a new car” she shrugged.

Dylan picked the magazine she was staring at “I also need a ring”

Clara sprang up to her feet in excitement, she walked around the table to help him choose a ring.

“Believe me… I’m great when it comes to picking pretty jewels let me do the honors”

They both heard the door unlocking and before Dylan could blink, Clara was already sitting on his laps. She brought her face close to his….

Louisa turned away from the sight, she cleared her throat to gain back their attention.

“Oh… you should have knocked before coming in” Clara scolded and stood up walking towards Louisa.

She collected the cup of tea and took a sip out of it “You make great tea….. but sadly I’m not really into the tea I prefer coffee”

Louisa glared at Clara “You can’t order me around!”

Clara gasped in shock “Did you just go against my order?”

“You bet I did!…. I’m not your servant who you order around”

“You are only serving your punishment for coming late to the office and trust me this is only the beginning now do as you’ve been asked to” Dylan added.

Louisa pulled the mug out of Clara’s grip and turned away.

Abby nudged Cecile when she saw Amelia approaching. “This is exactly what I was talking about aunt, what were you doing up so late last night that you slept in?”

Amelia’s cheeks flushed “Please don’t tease me, you should ask Liam that question not me”

Cecile handed her a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.”Have this it’s good for your health”

Amelia accepted the glass and drank it all in one go.”That was refreshing, I have to leave now mum and please extend my greetings to mum Brianna”

Abby sprang up to her feet “Can I tag along?”

“Yeah sure!”

Abby stole a side glance at Amelia while they were in the car going to star entertainment, Amelia noticed and turned to her with a raised brow. “Is something wrong?”

Abby shook her head and smiled “I was just wondering if you could help me with something”

“Abby…. you’ve helped me a lot so I will gladly do the same for you too”

Abby stared down at her hands “I came to the city for someone other than Liam”

Amelia’s ears perked up, she wiggled her brows “Is it a guy?” she asked to see Abby turn red which answered her question.

“Tell me what his name is and I will fix your alliance, not me actually, Liam can do that”

Abby face palmed herself, Amelia was just too silly. “Nah… Liam will definitely tease me till the end of time”

Abby pulled out the car key from her purse and waved it in front of Amelia.

He turned to the nurse present in the room “Where is the patient in this ward?”

“He was discharged earlier this morning per your order”
