MY ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR ARROGANT

Dylan pulled over in front of Clara’s hotel, she alighted and bade him goodbye before going into the hotel hurriedly.

Dylan glanced briefly at Louisa through the rearview mirror. “When do you plan to get off?”

“I don’t see my apartment in sight” she replied back.

“do you think that I’m your driver?” he mumbled and started the car which moved at a slow pace.

“You are on the driver’s seat I bet you can answer that question yourself!”

Dylan stepped on the brakes and the car came to an abrupt stop.

Louisa looked out of the windshield, she wasn’t anywhere near her apartment yet. “Why did you stop?”

Dylan stepped out of the car and opened the backseat where she was seated. with a single pull she was out of the car.

“Why don’t you find a cab from here”

Louisa looked around her surroundings, it was already getting dark.

“Dylan I won’t be able to get a cab from here…. it’s getting dark and I….

“Well that’s your sad story” Dylan mocked and returned back to his car.

Louisa watched his car vanish from her sight and cursed after it. “Jerk!”

She clutched her purse as she walked down the deserted street..

Cecile and Brianna bowed their heads while they received some scoldings from Liam.

“You both could have gotten seriously hurt today”

Brianna exchanged gazes with Cecile, how could they sit and do nothing when the lives of their kids were at stake.

“we didn’t die alright! we made your work easier now those evil souls are out of your lives” Cecile defended.

“Come on mum…. I know this must have been your idea, and then you lecture me about how to behave like a proper girl” Amelia added.

Brianna touched her head and sighed “Liam why are we still on this? we should be celebrating our victory against those awful people”

Amelia rolled her eyes, these two didn’t quite get what they were driving at.

Abby came down from the steps hurriedly with a scarf wrapped around her head.

“Abby what’s with the scarf?” Amelia asked trying to take a peek.

“It’s nothing I need to be at a…. friend’s funeral” she blurted out which the others found weird before they could ask anymore questions she dashed off.

“It’s getting dark where is she off to?”

Nicholas banged the iron rods in anger, never in his wildest dream has he ever thought of staying behind bars.

“Hey! get me out of here!” he yelled banging the iron bars.

He heard a slow footstep approaching his cell, and a man came in view.

“You?!”

The middle aged man opened his arm with a roguish grin.

“It is really sad to learn about what happened to you and your family but I had to get involved since this concerns my children also” Mr William said gripping the iron bars.

Liam Grayson didn’t spare his children either and he wasn’t going to take things easy with him.

“Get me out of here Mr Williams I can help you get the desired revenge after all my mum is at the asylum”

Mr Williams shook his head “you must be aware of how much my daughter loves your half brother, and I’m ready to do anything to make her wish come true”

“And what about Amelia? she is a fierce lady and won’t let anything of that sought happen”

“According to what I’ve heard so far, you are interested in your sister in-law, I make dreams come true, give me only a week and those two won’t be able to stand each other after I am done with them” His voice came out flat and void of emotions.

He had heard a lot about this Amelia Hart who tamed such an arrogant man like Liam and at the same time made Fred’s life a mess.

“Amelia is a lioness… nothing we’ve done so far seemed to yield any fruit” Nicholas tried to convince the mayor but his mind was already made up.

“That’s the clear difference between you and I, I’ve been the mayor for years now and I know everything about planning and plottings!”

Nicholas moved back into the cell and massaged his head, now he knew where Fred’s and Allison’s foolishness came from.

“Mr mayor Amelia and the city are two different things, why don’t you go after Liam instead, he is the root cause of all these problems…. Amelia has nothing to do with this!”

Louisa stopped on her tracks, she turned back once more but found no one in the deserted street. She could feel someone was following her after Dylan abandoned her here.

She walked hurriedly increasing her pace, and she could feel that her stalker was getting nearer to her.

A hand went over her mouth to stop her from screaming out, Louisa scratched and bit whoever was holding her.

She turned behind her to find an unfamiliar man glaring at her while holding his arm which she bit, she could also see her teeth marks deeply imprinted on his skin.

The man reached his hand out to grab her but she bolted off running down the long deserted street.

She could see his shadow coming nearer to her, she looked behind her to see how close he was to her. She crashed into a body in front of her.

The man chasing after her stopped and laughed out loud at her. “Try running away now!”

The other man in front of her pulled her hair back harshly and leaned forward inhaling her scent.

“We found a very tasty one, get the van ready” He ordered taking in Louisa’s features.

Louisa spat at him in disgust and threw a slap at his face which only annoyed him the more.

“You dared laid your hands on me you b*tch!, I will show you what we do to other b*itches like your self!”

The two men grabbed her and pulled her to an abandoned building.

Louisa screamed out kicking frantically as he fondled with her shirt buttons.

“Let me go!…”

The man smiled eerily at her “Even if I wasn’t paid to do this I won’t have controlled myself if I had seen you walking alone”

He pressed her against the wall and leaned forward to her, before he could move an inch further he was smacked on the head.

Louisa opened her eyes shaking in fear as she saw the man unconscious on the ground.
