MY ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR ARROGANT

Brianna stole a glance at Cecile and sighed, something has been bothering her for a while now.

“Cecile don’t you think everything is too calm?”

Cecile raised a brow and reduced the volume of tv they’ve been watching.

No sooner had she said that when the show got interrupted by a breaking news. Cecile increased the volume to hear what was going on.

Brianna and Cecile exchanged looks when the mayor came into the screen.

“Mr Williams can you brief us about the new project that you are about to start in the city?” a reporter asked holding the mic to his mouth.

The mayor nodded in response “We’ve come into a conclusion that the mental asylum near the highways will be demolished…. so we will be transferring all patients to a different asylum”

Cecile’s brows collided in confusion, that wasn’t really a thing…. She shot Brianna a look and she was sure that Brianna was just as confused as she was.

“That was sudden…. he could have made this announcement like a few months ago” Brianna murmured which Cecile agreed to.

Liam watched the news with interest, he just hoped that the mayor wasn’t trying to get involved in this mess.

He pulled out his phone and made a phone call “I know what he is up to take Jane out of the asylum I know a better place for her” Liam ordered and faced the two who were looking at him in surprise.

“Now I get it…. it all makes sense that he got back after his two children were trashed” Brianna murmured and snorted in disdain.

Liam leaned forward and planted a kiss on his mum cheek.”You both should stay out of trouble…. honestly I feel like Amelia has been influencing you two with her weird behavior”

Chloe bolted down the stairs, she was holding onto her teddy bear still in her PJs.

“Big bro…. save me!!!” She screamed and hid behind Liam.

Liam raised a brow, it’s not like he was going to save her, he might as well push her into the danger she was running away from.

“Amelia what has she done?” Cecile asked with an interrogative stare.

“Chloe is becoming so naughty…. she almost had Louisa fired from her office today, she tampered with a file at Louisa’s apartment” Amelia explained.

“I needed to become useful… ” Chloe defended taking a peek at Amelia.

Liam picked her up and placed her to stand on the couch.

“And how useful have you become now? don’t you have school to attend to today?”

Chloe folded her arm and threw her face away “I don’t feel like going…. my school competitions is starting tomorrow and I have to prepare myself for it”

Amelia rolled her eyes “Chloe stop making excuses.. everything you need is ready what else did we possibly miss?”

Chloe tapped her chin “I have to get my hair done, my nails, and most importantly my dress…..

They snapped their gaze to her before they bursted out laughing.

“If you really want all that then I will do that, come on sweetie”

Brianna leaned forward to Cecile and whispered “I wonder when Liam and Amelia would give us the good news it’s been a while”

“I think they are not ready yet….. but we will have to take matter into our own hands” Cecile replied with a wink.

Clara opened her eyes with a groan as soon as she recalled how she was forcefully abducted she sat up and looked around the familiar room.

She rose to her feet and stumbled forward, she supported herself and stood upright.

She dashed towards the door and pulled the knob but it wasn’t opening.

“Going so fast?”

She jolted in shock and turned back to find the owner of the voice sitting on the couch with his legs propped on the table.

Karl closed the large book he was reading and stood up, he walked towards her and stopped just in front of her.

Clara’s eyes darted around for any weapon to threaten him with but she found none.

“What will you gain by bringing me here? have you forgotten that I’m no longer your plaything but someone’s fiancee?!”

Karl caught hold of her wrist and forcefully pulled off her ring and tossed it away. “you can’t belong to anyone else while I’m still alive and not even a ring can stop me from claiming you as mine”

Clara pulled her hand out of his grip “And what if I don’t want you?…..

Karl placed his palm over her mouth and pushed her backwards till her back touched the wall.

“Please don’t say that… I Know I was wrong, I was such a fool for saying all those mean things to you, your absence made my life a living hell…

Clara closed her eyes to stop her tears from falling, how could she still be angry at him? then she remembered Dylan, she still had to help him with Louisa.

Karl sealed her lips with his, he didn’t want to hear the rest of her words. He couldn’t bear her absence for a few weeks not to think of forever.

Clara’s knees weakened, even though her mind was against this, her stubborn body still refused to listen to her. She reciprocated his fiery kisses with the same intensity and passion as him.

Karl pulled away from her and cupped her face in his hands. “How much more lies will you tell me? your body is saying otherwise” he whispered and planted a kiss on her neck, she tilted her neck to give him more access.

“I love you Clara!” Karl declared and claimed her lips once more, he lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist.

Clara’s last shred of defense was broken, he finally those three magic words that she had always wanted to hear..

Old Grayson opened his eyes and smiled at the person who just came into his ward.

“Long time friend!” me Williams exclaimed taking a seat next to old Grayson’s bed.

Old Grayson’s lips pulled up, he still had a chance to win against Liam. and his friend here will accomplish that task he never finished.
