My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna)

Chapter 2170

Chapter 2170

As we got closer to the end of the year, the streets of the capital were decorated with lanterns and streamers. The whole place was brimming with festivity.

Only the hospital was still purely white from it's entrance to every corner of the building. It was gloomy and depressing with the smell of disinfectant. Everything was ready. After arriving at the hospital, I asked the nurse for a wheelchair and pushed it towards Irvin's ward.

I saw from the distance that Shirley was standing by the door, monitoring the situation in the ward through a glass window. She had a rare smile on her face and her pale face looked gentle.

Realizing that I was here, she glanced sideways and turned around. Her eyes were fixed on the skinny man in the ward. "He's in good spirits today."

"Yeah?" I pursed my lips and smiled, hoping that there would be some good news. "Look, isn't everything better now? Had something happened to you that day, would you have been able to see this?"

She lowered her eyes and didn't say anything, but the gloom she used to give off had been dispelled.

I pressed down on the door handle and paused. I then turned around and asked, "Hey, I plan to take Irvin out to get some sun. You want to join us?" "No, thanks. I mean, this is his chance to be with you alone. He won't want me around."Nôvel(D)rama.Org's content.

She was probably right. It was good to give priority to the patient.

However, I thought that there might be some sudden surprises if I didn't treat Irvin as a patient. Just like the day before, it was useless trying to persuade him with kind words. Instead, Irvin actually ate something when we used reverse psychology.

"How do you know it won't work if you don't try?" I walked behind her and let her push the wheelchair into the room.

We were so loud that Irvin had overheard us. As soon as we entered the room, I saw him glaring at us with a death stare. But I could see that he didn't show too animosity when he noticed that Shirley was here as well.

I proudly winked at Shirley. "See, I told you that he wouldn't object."

Shirley was, of course, very happy. She felt very nervous and shy, probably because she hadn't had any close contact with Irvin for some time.

As I thought about this, the girl in my

memory who was desperate for love still lived inside her and never disappeared. She was always

reserved and enthusiastic in front of the person she loved.

Seeing that she was stunned, I had no choice but to step forward and help Irvin out of bed.

"What are you doing?" Irvin asked feebly.

"Taking you out to get some fresh air."

"Nope, no way."

I pretended not to hear anything and turned around to ask for Shirley's help, "Help me on the other side. I can't do this alone."

After hearing this, she froze for a moment before nodding and walking forward.

As soon as her hand touched Irvin, he shook it off and growled, "Don't touch me!"

It was as if someone had poured a basin of cold water over her head and then pushed her into the snow, freezing her into an awkward ice statue.

I didn't know where my anger came

from, but I gave Irvin a hard push. He was already weak to begin with so he fell back on the bed and almost toppled over. Fortunately, he supported himself with his hands and scowled. If looks could kill, I would be dead already.

"Don't do that, Arianna. I'm fine..."
