My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna)

Chapter 2184

Chapter 2184

Freya stepped down hard on the accelerator, her expression looked pretty similar to the time she had cut ties with Zachary. Her slightly furrowed eyebrows didn't look like they were going to smoother, out any time soon. Her expression right now would make any man know that she wasn't an easy woman to be with immediately.

Would Cyril end up becoming another man she would reject?

At the last intersection, just before we arrived home, we saw Aaron driving Emma towards the southern side of the city. We didn't talk with each other, so we didn't know what they were going to do.

Freya left right after sending us home. I had invited her in to spend some time with the kids, but she said she was feeling pretty tired.

She knew herself best, whether she was actually tired or just had some things on her mind. Regardless, she wasn't the type to tell you anything if she didn't want to.All content is © N0velDrama.Org.

Before we entered through the door, we heard Aurelia commanding Wynn and Neal.

"Not like that Wynn! You have to do it like

this. Stick it here!"

"Neal, you agree with me. right?!"

I felt my mood improve dramatically when I heard her energetic voice. I walked in and said jokingly, "What are you doing? Aurelia, is your brother doing something wrong again?"

"Mommy! Anne!"

Aurelia dropped everything in her hands and ran over, jumping into my embrace.

"Good girl." I smiled and brushed the tip of her nose. "What are you all doing?"

"We're making lanterns!" Aurelia said proudly. "I've finished mine first!"

"Really? Good job! Let me see."

As I said this, I went into the living room and noticed all the scattered parts on the sofa and on the coffee table. There was one lantern that looked complete and was barely visible.

"Is it that one?" I pretended to look surprised. I held up the lantern in my hand and looked at it carefully. Aurelia felt very accomplished. "Yes, that's it! I made that. I didn't ask for help from anyone at all. Mommy, please praise me!"

"Naha... You did such a good job! You're better at making them than I am! There are so many left to make too. I will make them with you later. Will you

teach me how?"

"Okay!"

I smiled fondly as I patted her head. I realized that I haven't seen Hendrix ever since I stepped into the house. I scanned the room. "Have you seen your father?"

"He's in the kitchen." Aurelia was already occupied with her arts and crafts, She then mumbled to herself, "Daddy said the one with the best lantern will get a piece of cake!"

This little girl would do anything for some dessert.

Meanwhile, Wynn and Neal were simply participating at this point. They weren't focused on winning since the winner was already a done deal anyways.

Turning my head towards the

kitchen, I noticed that the lights were on, and I could hear someone

moving around in there. The door et

was closed to prevent the greasy smett from spreading around the house. This was why I hadn't seen him since I got home.

I put down my bag and headed into the kitchen.

I gently pushed the door open and slowly peeked inside through the gap. As the gap grew bigger, I caught sight of Hendrix.

He was standing next to the cooking table preparing a salad. He was chopping up some vegetables, tossing them easily and plating them.

There was a pot behind that was boiling which filled the kitchen with steam.

But the thing that stood out the most was that Hendrix was wearing an apron that had cartoon characters on them.

"Pft..." I then burst out laughing.

Hendrix heard me and looked at me.

When he realized that I was peeking at him, he placed the bowl down. He narrowed his eyes and smiled at me. "What are you laughing at?"
