My Soul Got Stuck In Another Person’s Body!!

Chapter 7

Uggghh! My head spinned. Where the hell had we landed? I slowly opened my eyes as I looked around my surrounding. Elizabeth was lying next to me and the driver was no where to be found. We must have fallen out of the car, after the accident.

I managed to get up as I looked towards Elizabeth. She was the sole cause of this misfortune. I really wanted this fucking day to end!

It was just a series of misfortunes for me today.

Even if I wanted to hate Elizabeth all the more for this shit show I was in, it had to be when she was awake.

I had to hate a conscious Elizabeth.

“Hey” I called as I shook her. “wake up!”

“Hey, you don’t get to die on me. Wake up!” I shook harder. She moved slightly.

“Hey. Lizzie?”

She opened her eyes slightly, then slowly got up

“Did you just call me Lizzie?” She asked

“Did I?” I hadn’t realised I did. Maybe I had a concussion.

“Don’t ever call me that” she drawled as she held her head

“Where are we? What happened?” She asked

“I don’t know” I looked around again, this place looked very unfamiliar.

“What do you mean you don’t know? You woke up before me”

I let out an exasperated breath. She continued to annoy me, even after gaining consciousness.

“Have you forgotten who caused this? We wouldn’t be in this situation if not for your bitchy attitude back there and –”

“Stop whining. I’ve had enough of you for today” she cut me off, rolling her eyes

“I’m whining? Am I not supposed to? After what —” I realized I was talking to myself because her attention had been diverted elsewhere.

“What’s that?” She asked as she pointed towards a shiny object. She began to crawl towards it.

“What?” I asked as I followed her. She crawled to the object and picked it up.

I looked closely at the object in her hand. It was a stone.

A very beautiful jade green stone. It looked like it fell out from a box because a black mini box lay open next to the stone.

Where had it come from?

“What’s that?” I asked stupidly. Maybe I was too bewildered by the stone to form a coherent question.

“It’s a stone, stupid” she answered

“I–I mean, what’s it doing here? It’s obviously valuable”

“I don’t know, Evelyn Thompson. I mean, how would I know why a jade green stone is lying here? The owner must have dropped it”

We both stared at the stone in silence for some seconds, it was such a beautiful sight. I hadn’t seen such for some time.

As we stared at it, both bewitched, a very bright light suddenly shone and I shielded my eyes with my hands.

“What’s happening?” Elizabeth asked, shielding her eyes too.

I stayed like that, for a moment, shielding my eyes, until I didn’t know what happened to me, but I suddenly felt dizzy.

Like very dizzy.

And… I blacked out again.

***********************

I slowly opened my eyes. I heard voices. They sounded distant but it felt like I was hearing them in my head.

My head hurt like crazy.

I groaned in pain as I held my head. My body hurt too. It felt like my joints were giving in.

I slowly turned. I saw Elizabeth still lying unconscious.

Did she always have to be this weak? It pissed me off. In fact, everything about her, pissed me off. She caused trouble and I always had to be the one to clean up her mess.

I crawled to her and shook her.Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

“Bitch!” I called as I shook. “wake up”

I shook her harder but still no movement.

“Hey, wake up” I said

No response came from her.

“Hey, you cunt! You got us into this accident and I don’t know what you did with that weird stone but we both fell unconscious again and it’s because of you and your impulsive shit! Get up!”

I smacked her harder but she still didn’t wake up.

“Hey, Lizzie?” I called. I had to try, maybe calling her Lizzie would wake her up.

“Lizzie?” I called again but she still didn’t move.

I suddenly heard a scream. It was in my head. I heard it so vividly, it couldn’t have been from anywhere else. But what could that be?

“Elizabeth Monroe” I yelled, frustrated now. When was she going to wake up? Our driver was still no where to be seen. Was he still unconscious?

I cursed by boss into the fiery pit of hades, for sending us on this stupid errand. If she hadn’t sent I and Elizabeth, maybe we would have returned safely by now.

I wondered why she badly wanted I and Elizabeth to get along.

We were like oil and water.

We had been rivals for five years. We were never going to get along. But that didn’t mean I wanted to see Elizabeth unconscious.

She had to wake up for us to get out of here.

Following my instincts, I placed a finger under her nose to feel her breathing.

I didn’t feel anything. She wasn’t breathing.

Panic tore through me.

“Elizabeth?” I grabbed her shoulders and shook the shit out of her, but she still didn’t wake up.

I could feel tears burning inside my eyes? Was she dead? What the fuck did that stone do to the both of us?

Where was the stone?

I looked around for it and I quickly found it. It still shone like nothing happened. What was this stone? I grabbed the stone and placed it inside the box where it came from, then I put it in my purse.

I suddenly heard a scream again.

Then I heard a voice

“Is that me?” The voice said

What the fuck was happening to me? I was hearing voices now?

Tears ran down my face. Why did today have to be so crappy and bizzare?

I looked at Elizabeth. That bitch wasn’t breathing. I quickly grabbed my phone from my purse and called an ambulance.

The ambulance was going to get here soon. I hoped nothing happened to Elizabeth in the meantime.
