My Stand-In Groom Is A Secret Tycoon (Audrey)

Chapter 287

Audrey had no idea she was being noticed by the blond boy. As she walked past the fountain in front of the school building, she spotted Miles.

"Audrey!" Miles saw her too and ran over, waving his hand.

Audrey looked Miles up and down. Seeing he was unhurt, she felt relieved and asked with concern, "Why did you call me here in such a hurry? Is someone bullying you at school?" Seeing Audrey so worried about him, Miles felt a warm sensation in his heart.

He chuckled awkwardly, scratching the back of his head as he explained, "Nobody's bullying me. The vice principal of our school wants to meet you..."

"Why does your vice principal want to see me?" Audrey raised an eyebrow in confusion.

Logically, if they wanted to call a parent, they should contact Jessica and Peter.

There was no way they suddenly wanted to see her.

"I told Mr. Harrington that you solved that bonus question, and he said he wanted to meet you." Miles recounted the events to Audrey but didn't mention how his classmates had mocked him. After understanding the situation, Audrey felt relieved. Luckily, Miles wasn't being bullied.

Miles was unaware of her relief and excitedly said, "Audrey, Mr. Harrington is a big name in the physics world. He even has his own physics lab. Isn't that amazing?"noveldrama

Knowing that such an impressive vice principal wanted Audrey to solve a problem filled him with a sense of pride.

Catching the admiration in Miles' eyes, Audrey chuckled, patted his head, and said, "Miles, you're quite smart too. As long as you work hard, you will become someone others look up to in the future." Miles clenched his fists and promised, "I'll work hard!"

The siblings chatted and laughed as they walked to the principal's office.

The blonde boy, who had rushed over to ask for a phone number, kicked the tree trunk on the roadside in frustration.

He thought, 'Who the heck is this boy? He's getting so close to my dream girl. Can they be a couple?'

Seeing a girl greet Miles, the blond boy immediately stopped her. "Hey, can I ask you something?"

The school had a strict no-dyed-hair policy, and the blond boy looked like a troublemaker. The girl took two steps back in fear and hesitantly asked, "W-What do you want to know?" "Do you know that boy's name?" the blond boy asked.

Holding her books, the girl lowered her head and honestly said, "I don't know that girl, but the boy is Miles from our class."

The blond boy frowned and said, "Miles?"

'Why does that name sound so familiar?' he thought.

The blond boy exclaimed with surprise, "No way! Is he that Miles who's at the bottom of the grade?"

That name was stuck in his memory, especially since Miles was ranked just above him.

The girl nodded in agreement. "Y-Yeah, that's him."

Meanwhile, Audrey and Miles arrived at the door of Leo's office.

Miles was just about to raise his hand to knock when a gust of wind gently pushed the door open, allowing snippets of conversation from inside to waft out.

Simon sat behind his desk,

skimming through the solution to the bonus question he'd taken from his colleagues, a look of scorn on his face. It's such a complex solution.

Sonhysics

Obviously, it's the work of a genius.

"Miles really doesn't know his own limits. Claiming that the solution was from his sister, and now he's being criticized by so many people. He brought it on himself!"

Hearing Simon's harsh words, Frank

could no longer keep quiet and

retorted, "He's still one of your students Do you have to be so critical? So what if he didn't solve' the problem by himself? It's a good sign that he's eager to learn"

Simon's face turned even darker at the words, and he immediately retorted, "A good sign? You guys can't seriously believe his story that his sister taught him the solution, can you?"
