Chapter 867 Julien Wanted to Try Dallin

Chapter 867 Julien Wanted to Try Dallin

"Correcting Greta's file?" Sydney frowned, "What do you mean, the information currently in Greta's file is not fake but real?"

Julien compressed his lips and didn't say anything.

Zach interjected, "Yes, Ms. Raines, you're right. According to that deputy director, Mr. Matt Claus, Dallin had him change Greta's identity information to the one we just got at the police station. In other words, the information I found out about Greta earlier was true."

"Tell me more," Julien demanded.

Zach continued, "I found out that Greta was an orphan and was raised in an orphanage, but her name was not Greta Dallin then, but Evelin Cain. The name was given to her by the orphanage director, and later Dallin gave her a new name, Greta. The alteration was executed one week before you asked me to investigate Greta."

"So that Matt didn't change anything about Greta's identity other than her name?" Julien wrinkled his brows.

Zach nodded, "Yes, that's what Mr. Claus said. I don't think he was lying. He just did what Dallin told him to do. As for who Greta really is, we need to find out that from Dallin."

Julien compressed his lips into a thin line. He was silent.

Sydney looked at Julien, "I'm shocked!"

They had thought they could find out Greta's real identity through Matt.

However, Matt had only changed Greta's name, and the rest of the information in her profile was the same as what Julien had found out before.

They only found out Greta's original name. They still hadn't found out Greta's real identity.

All they knew was that Greta had a special relationship with Dallin.

Julien nodded slightly, "That's okay. Though you didn’t find out anything through Greta, I can ask Dallin about it."

Julien continued to talk into the phone, "All right. Stop investigating her. I'll call Dallin later."

"Okay, Mr. Julien," Zach responded.

Julien put the phone down and prepared to call Dallin.

He had never contacted Dallin or met him in person because Julien's mother had loved Dallin and Julien didn't trust Dallin. Julien never wanted to contact Dallin or meet him.

Julien did not plan to meet Dallin before he found out if Dallin had murdered Julien's father and if Dallin was involved in Julien's car accident.

Julien planned to meet Dallin for the first and last time after everything was confirmed.

After all, his mother had loved this man.

But if Dallin wasn’t responsible for Julien's father’s death or Julien's car accident, or if the truth never came out, Julien wouldn't meet him because Julien was sick of him.

However, at such a time, Julien had no choice but to contact Dallin.

Seeing Julien's brows furrowed, Sydney bit her lower lip and asked, "Are you sure?"

"Sure about what?" Julien looked up at her. He looked confused.

Sydney pointed to his phone and replied, "Are you sure you want to contact Dallin? I don't think you want to talk to him."

It was natural for Julien to hate Dallin, who had a past with Julien’s mother.

And that man might have murdered Julien's father, so Sydney was worried.

Seeing the concerned look in Sydney's eyes, Julien understood what she was worried about. He felt warmth in his heart and then he reassured her, "It's okay. I'll have to face him sooner or later. I also wanted to know how he would react when he heard it was me. Maybe I could learn from his reaction whether he hated me."

Dallin had lost the love of his life to Julien's father. If Dallin hated Julien, it must have been because he hated Julien's father. Then most likely, Dallin was the murderer of Julien's father.

Not everyone was generous enough to love the son of his love rival.

Since Julien wanted to figure out Dallin’s attitude towards him, Sydney didn't stop him. "All right. I'm on your side no matter what you do."

She knew Julien had always wanted to find out who murdered his father, so he could avenge his father's death.

Contacting Dallin might give Julien a clue, so she wouldn't stop him.

Julien looked at Sydney and gently stroked her hair. Then he turned on his cell phone.

Just as Julien was about to dial Dallin's number, someone called him.

It was a call from the police station.

Julien showed a sullen face, and Sydney was amused. "It seems you shouldn't contact Dallin so soon. Don't be mad. Just answer the phone. You can call Dallin later."

Julien nodded slightly, "Okay."

He had no choice but to answer the phone. He couldn't hang up on it.

Julien rubbed his brows as he picked up the phone.

The officer told Julien that they had found out something about Greta, basically the same as what Zach had just told him.

The police also found Matt and discovered that Greta's file had been changed, but it was just her name. She used to be called Evelin and now Greta.

Nothing had been changed except her name.

And Greta was her real name, not Evelin.

Matt changed Greta's name to her original name as Dallin had instructed.

The police hadn't found out Greta's real identity, but they had contacted their counterpart in Jackal City, and they had sent someone to Dallin's house to ask him about it.

Soon, they would get everything clear.

After hanging up the phone, Julien put it down.

Sydney snickered, "I was right. Now you don't need to contact Dallin. The police have already gone to question him."

Julien sighed. He didn't expect the police to find Dallin so quickly.

'Fine. I'll try the man later. Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

'Maybe he'll contact me first.

'If Greta was important to him, he would help Greta and he would not have let Greta be sent to prison. Then, Dallin would have to turn to me.’

After all, the outfits Greta had ruined belonged to Julien and Sydney. If Dallin wanted to help Greta, he needed to ask for Julien’s pardon.

Therefore, Dallin would probably contact Julien.

There was a difference as to who initiated the contact first, which concerned status and position.

Even if Julien was more powerful than Dallin, if he initiated contact with Dallin, he would be at a disadvantage.

But if Dallin initiated the contact, then Julien would be at an advantage.

Therefore, Julien would like to wait for Dallin to initiate the contact. He could also test Dallin at that time.

With that in mind, Julien turned to Sydney. "If Dallin is going to help Greta, he'll probably contact you before he contacts me. Don't be afraid. When he contacts you, let me know."

Dallin was a smart man, and he would certainly investigate the whole thing. And if he wanted to help Greta, he would turn to Sydney first.

Obviously, Sydney was inferior to him.

Dallin would think it would be easier to get Sydney’s pardon, so he probably would contact Sydney first.
