Chapter 880 Greta Turned Out to Be Dallin's Daughter
Chapter 880 Greta Turned Out to Be Dallin's Daughter
Terrell actually admired Dallin in his heart.
Everybody knew that Dallin was not a nice man. He did a lot of nasty things, but no one could get anything on him.
That was unbelievable.
No matter what a person did, there would always be some traces or clues, but Dallin did not leave any of those, which showed how cautious and meticulous he was. No one could get him.
Hearing Terrell's words, Sydney breathed deeply before speaking, "I'm so shocked to learn that Dallin is such a cunning man. So Cayden couldn't do anything to him?"
Cayden had no proof that Dallin had hurt him, so he couldn't get back at Dallin.
"Not really." Julien curled his lips.
Sydney then looked at Julien, and he said, "Don't forget that Cayden is not a nice guy either. Neither his main personality nor his secondary personality is a nice person. He won't stay silent. Not everything in this world requires evidence."
Sydney couldn't argue with Julien.
Julien was right. If a man was sure who his enemy was, he didn't need proof.
Sydney was too naive after all.
"It doesn't matter what Cayden will do to Dallin, but how Dallin does things has made me believe that he's my enemy!" Julien suddenly clenched his fists and hissed.
Sydney was confused, "Why?"
"Twelve years ago, my father was murdered in a hotel abroad. But the police couldn't find any clues about the murderer, so the case has been pending till now. A few months ago, I had a car accident. It was obvious that the car hit me on purpose, but I couldn't find any clues about the person who plotted the incident, so the case is also open."
Julien looked Sydney in the eye and continued, "I can't find any evidence or clues about either case, and the murderer is still on the loose. I can't think of anyone but Dallin who could have done such a perfect job."
"You got a point!" Sydney was enlightened. She nodded, "It does look like Dallin, and considering Dallin's feud with your family, maybe your suspicions are true."
Julien's knuckles made a sound when he clenched his fists tighter. "If it really is him, I'll make sure he pays with his life!"
The look on Julien's face was frightening, his eyes were bloodshot, and he gave out a fearful air.
Dallin had not only murdered Julien’s father, but he was responsible for the death of Julien's mother.
Although Julien's mother committed suicide, she did it because of Dallin.
Literally, Dallin was responsible for the death of both Julien's parents.
Julien was determined to take Dallin's life!
Seeing Julien get furious, Sydney took his hand and tried to calm him down, "Relax. You once told me not to let hatred get in the way of my sanity. What are you doing now?"
Hearing Sydney's voice, Julien gradually regained his senses.
He felt guilty as Sydney was worried about him. He said in a hoarse voice, "I'm sorry I scared you."
Sydney shook her head, "I'm fine. I'm not freaked out. I was just worried about you."
Julien took her in his arms, "I'm fine. I just got too emotional and I lost control."
"I knew that, so I was worried about you." Sydney patted Julien's back.
Sydney didn't let go of Julien until she felt he calmed down. She then turned to Terrell, who was watching them, "Dallin had arranged you to be Greta's lawyer, so you must know their relationship. What is Dallin's relationship with Greta?
Julien also narrowed his eyes at Terrell.
The lawyer felt stressed under their gaze. He pushed up his glasses and then answered, "Dallin is Greta's father."
"Dallin is Greta's father?" Although Sydney had guessed that, she was shocked when she heard about it from Terrell.
Julien wasn't very surprised, but his face darkened more.
Apparently, he was upset to learn that Greta was Dallin's daughter. He looked angry.
The fact that Greta was Dallin's daughter annoyed him.
Sydney was confused, "What's wrong?"
Julien didn't answer Sydney but stared at Terrell. "Dallin is not married, but Greta is his daughter?"
"Yes." Terrell nodded, "I heard it from Dallin's assistant. He told me Greta was Dallin's daughter, and Dallin got her back six months ago. But Dallin didn't change Greta's name until several days ago. Even though he changed Greta's name, he did not change Greta's file. And Dallin did not disclose to the public that Greta was his daughter, so no one knew that Greta had a daughter."
"That is the case." Sydney nodded.
Julien sneered, "If I’m not mistaken, Greta is twenty-seven years old, right?"
"Yes." Terrell responded.
The sarcasm in Julien's eyes grew bitter, "She's only three years younger than me. Good!"
Sydney could hear Julien hiss through his clenched teeth.
He was furious that Dallin had a daughter.
'Why?' Sydney's eyelids drooped. She was puzzled.
After they had said goodbye to Terrell and returned to the car, they were alone and Sydney asked curiously, "Why are you angry that Dallin has a daughter?"
Julien didn't answer her immediately. He hung his head down, and he was lost in thought.
After a few moments, Julien responded in a somber voice, "It's not fair to my mother."
"Your mother loved Dallin, but Dallin had a daughter with another woman, so you think it's fair to your mother?" Sydney raised her eyebrows.
'If that is the case, Julien should be angry.
'Julien's mother and Dallin had been in love, but Julien's mother had left Dallin, married Julien's father, and later had Julien.
'Dallin should not wait for Julien's mother. They had already broken up.
'Julien should not be angry to learn that Dallin has a daughter.’
Sensing what Sydney was wondering, Julien stared at her for a while and then said in a nonchalant voice, "Actually, I never told you that my mother never loved my father."
"What do you mean?" Sydney was confused.
Julien gripped the steering wheel tighter, his face tense, "My mother got pregnant through IVF." Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.
"What?" Sydney was so surprised that her voice rose, "In vitro fertilization?"
Julien had anticipated Sydney's reaction.
He pulled over and explained to her, his eyelids downcast, "I found out about it when I was sorting my mother's stuff after she died."
