Chapter 987 Zach Complained About the Couple in His Mind

"No." Sydney hurriedly waved her hand before Julien came over to her. "No, I'm not a cripple. Why do I need you to pick me up?" As she said, she started to put on her shoes.

Julien stood beside her and raised his eyebrows. "Are you sure?"

"I'm sure." She nodded as she put on her slippers.

Julien snickered, "Fine then! Let me see if you can walk on your own."

A little confused, Sydney sensed a hint of mockery in his tone.

She looked up at him, but she didn't notice anything strange. She shook her head again, albeit a little dizzy, "Why can't I walk on my own? Surely, I can."

Then she jerked to her feet.

However, her legs instantly went weak when she stood up. She lunged forward.

Sydney was terrified and her face turned pale. She let out a shriek.

Julien calmly took a step forward and caught her in his arms. All content is © N0velDrama.Org.

Sydney fell into his arms. Smelling the minty scent on his body and feeling the warmth of his arms, she was relieved.

'Luckily, I didn't fall to the ground. Otherwise, my teeth could have been broken.'

"Are you alright?" Julien carried her to the bed.

Sydney seated herself on the bed. She answered confusedly, "I'm fine."

"Now do you understand why I wanted to carry you to the bathroom?" Standing in front of her with his arms crossed on his chest, Julien asked her with a teasing smile.

Sydney asked with a blushed face, "You knew I would fall?"

Julien didn't say anything. He knew how passionate he had been last night.

He remembered that last night Sydney was like a desperate kitten and left a lot of scratches on his body.

And he knew Sydney might not be able to walk on her own the next morning, so he was ready to take care of her.

However, Sydney refused his help and believed she could walk on her own.

'See? I warned you.'

Looking at the stubborn look on Sydney's face, Julien had a wry smile, "Now do you need me to carry you to the bathroom?"

Sydney didn't say anything. After a few seconds, she opened her arms and reluctantly said, "Yeah."

'All right! Let him carry me to the bathroom. Why don't I use his help since he offers?'

Looking at Sydney's face with an air of nonchalance, Julien picked her up and headed for the bathroom, a doting look in his eyes.

He knew she would be shy, so he didn't help her undress or wait for her in the bathroom. He went out after making sure she was okay.

Sydney sighed with relief after Julien went out.

She was afraid Julien would wait for her inside the bathroom. Julien could have done that.

She felt glad that Julien was out.

Sydney exhaled lightly and sat down on the toilet.

Julien was waiting for her at the bathroom door. When he heard the toilet flush, he pushed the door open.

"Are you done?" Julien asked at the door, still holding the door handle in his hand.

Sydney moved to the sink carefully. "No. I’m going to wash up."

Julien nodded, "OK. I'll wait for you."

After that, he walked over to her.

Instead of waiting outside, he stood by her side.

Sydney didn’t pay much attention to him. She was just washing up. As long as he didn't disturb her, she wouldn’t mind.

Sydney took a long time to wash up. When she finished, it was half an hour later.

But Julien was patient. He kept watching her without a word of complaint.

Sydney wiped her face. Stressed by his stare, she asked, "Why are you staring at me?"

He had been staring at her since he came in without moving his eyes.

"You're so beautiful that I can't take my eyes off of you," Julien replied.

Sydney let out a snort, "I don't believe you."

Julien laughed. Just as he was about to say something else, the doorbell rang.

He frowned. "It's supposed to be our breakfast."

Sydney waved her hand at him. She felt so embarrassed when he kept staring at her.

Julien turned around and went out to answer the door.

It was not the hotel attendant delivering the food, but Zach.

Zach pushed his glasses upward and smiled, "Mr. Flint, good morning."

Julien responded with a slight nod.

Zach was used to it.

If Julien ever tapped him on the shoulder with encouragement, he would be shocked.

He was an employee. He didn't expect his boss to be very cordial to him.

"Mr. Flint, here are the clothes you asked for." Zach handed Julien the two bags.

Meanwhile, Zach roasted in his mind, 'Mr. Flint and Ms. Raines must have had a passionate night. They especially came to the hotel to spend the night!' But he didn't dare to say anything. Otherwise, he couldn't walk out of the hotel.

Zach was surprised when he arrived at the hotel. When he saw the pink building with its strange appearance, his mouth opened wide in amazement.

It took him a lot of courage to step into the hotel.

Zach was an office man. He always wore a suit and leather shoes. He should appear in an office building.

'Why would I show up at a hotel like this?'

If he had the courage to disobey Julien's orders, he really wouldn't have walked into this hotel.

'I shouldn't have come to a place like this. I can't believe Mr. Flint and Ms. Raines would come to such a hotel. How did they find this hotel?

'I wonder how Mr. Flint felt when he walked into the hotel. Or maybe he didn't find the hotel strange at all?'

"All right. Wait for us in the car." Julien ordered.

Zach was happy that he could get out of the hotel right away, so he repeatedly nodded, "Yes, Mr. Flint."

Then he excitedly turned and headed for the elevator.

Just after he took a few steps, he ran into a waiter, who was pushing a food cart, walking past him. The waiter stopped in front of Julien, "Sir, this is your breakfast."

Julien nodded slightly, "Just leave the cart here."

"Okay." The waiter then left the food cart at the door. Apparently, he got requests like this from customers all the time.

Julien put the bags Zach had brought him on the cart and dragged it into the room. Then the door was closed.

As Julien was pushing the cart to the table, he heard Sydney's voice.

He looked up and saw Sydney slowly walking towards him, holding on to the wall.

Julien hurriedly let go of the cart and strode to her, his face tense. "Didn't I tell you to wait for me in the bathroom? Why did you walk out on your own? Aren't you afraid of falling to the floor?"

He then carried her up in his arms.

Sydney smiled, "I won't fall to the floor. I'm holding on to the wall. You were gone for so long, and I finished washing up, so I came out on my own. Don't worry. I'm fine."

"What if you fall?" Julien looked down at her with a stern face. "How can you be so sure?"
