Night of Destiny (Anastasia Tillman)

Chapter 2785

Chapter 2785

Harmony couldn’t help but chuckle as she said, “Let’s see how things go this afternoon!”

Yunna had been waiting at the door for over ten minutes when Ezekiel, dressed in a sleek black suit,

appeared. Upon seeing Yunna, his eyebrows furrowed instantly.

“Boss, I’ll join you for breakfast and give you a report on last night’s work,” Yunna suggested. Ezekiel

declined outright, “No need. I have a breakfast appointment with Miles. He will report to me.”

Yunna immediately looked upset. “Boss, am I not performing well enough?”

Ezekiel’s gaze swept over her coldly. “From now on, you’re no longer my assistant. I’ll have Miles draw

up your termination contract.”

Yunna was completely taken aback. She hadn’t expected Harmony’s words earlier to come true. She

was really being fired. Had Harmony whispered something to the Boss last night?

“Boss, I haven’t made a single mistake at work in the past three years. You can’t just fire me like this. I

know you best, and only I can ensure your work goes smoothly,” Yunna quickly asserted her value.

“Miss Yunna, whether your work is valuable to me is for me to decide. You will be compensated fairly. Property © 2024 N0(v)elDrama.Org.

Please hand over your duties to Miles for the time being,” Ezekiel responded coldly and left.

Yunna gasped for breath. She had never imagined that her eager anticipation of working here and

developing a better relationship with Ezekiel would end just a few days after her arrival. And all of this

was caused by Harmony. Yunna bit her red lips, her eyes flashing with unwillingness and resentment.

Soon, Miles contacted her and came to find her.

Yunna opened the door. Still wanting to stay, she pleaded with Miles, “Miles, help me. I really want to

stay and work for the boss.”

“I warned you before. You can stay here if you want, but don’t delude yourself into thinking you can

have more than a professional relationship with the boss. It’s your own fault for not handling it well.”

“It’s Harmony. She ruined me. She’s the one who drove me away,” Yunna said angrily.

“Yunna, can’t you see that Miss Mayo is the woman the boss loves the most? Your attempt to offend

Miss Mayo only proves your inadequacy.”

“But she’s just a celebrity. How long can she stay by the boss’ side?!”

“You don’t know the boss well enough. Once he falls in love, he never changes his mind. He loves Miss

Mayo enough, and no matter what job she does, he loves Miss Mayo herself.”

“How is that possible? I’ve known the boss for three years. She’s not good enough for him,” Yunna

said, looking frustrated.

“Whether she’s good enough or not is not for you or me to decide, but for the boss.”

“Has Miss Mayo met Mr. and Mrs. Weiss? Do they approve of her?” Yunna asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Mr. and Mrs. Weiss will like whoever the boss likes,” Miles said.

Reluctantly, Yunna handed over her work computer and files. However, she kept one file back, planning

to take revenge on Ezekiel for his coldness. In her opinion, Ezekiel shouldn’t have been so heartless to

her.

As for Harmony, Yunna didn’t plan to let her off either. Yunna was a well-educated person, capable of

many things, such as ruining an artist’s career.

Meanwhile, Harmony was passionately filming her scenes. She loved acting because it allowed her to

experience different lives.

After finishing filming in the afternoon,

Harmony was taken by Sera for a relaxing spa session, as she had been hanging on wires for the day’s

shoot.

Sera was willing to spend money to give Harmony a better experience. They went to a high-end spa

frequented by many celebrities. As soon as Harmony and Sera walked in, the staff immediately came

forward to serve them.
