Chapter 274
Chapter 274
Heidi struggled to break free from the man’s grip, intent on escaping, but her gaze landed on Clara, whose face beamed with a smile as she waved at Heidi and then, with a resounding “bang”, shut the door.
It was only then that Heidi realized she’d been duped. Clara wasn’t drugged. It was just a ruse, a cunning play orchestrated by Clara.
With this realization, rage surged through Heidi, and her blood was boiling with the urge to grab a knife and end Clara.
In the shadows, the man was all too eager to tear off her clothes, pouncing like a wild beast. No matter what she said, he showed no sign of stopping.
She was bound with her hands, sprawled on the floor, enduring his savage assault. Pain ripped through Heidi, which was a torture meant for Clara.
She knew of Julius’ infatuation with Clara, which was why she had sought his partnership. Heidi had heard of his promiscuous and twisted ways, and she wanted Clara to suffer every indignity. To ensure her plan’s success, she had drugged Julius with something that was potent enough to last the entire night. But, to her horror, she found herself the victim of her own trap.
Scalding wax, whips dipped in hot sauce, handcuffs, and various perverse devices tormented her until dawn.
As she teetered on the brink of unconsciousness, the door flung open. Several cameras swarmed in, capturing the disheveled pair in a frenzy of flashes.
Heidi crumbled completely. She tasted the bitter fruits of her own scheming.
The scandal of Heidi and Julius’s hotel rendezvous rocketed to the top of the trending news. The media dubbed Heidi as number 250 — Julius’ 250th conquest.
Faced with such humiliation, Heidi fell gravely ill.
A furious Paolo sought Julius, demanding he take responsibility for his daughter, only to be met with the man’s carefree retort. “She gave me the drug; she came to me willingly, Paolo. If anyone should be settling accounts, it’s probably me.”
Paolo’s blood pressure spiked in anger.
Meanwhile, Clara, after a late shift, grabbed a quick bite before heading to bed. That was when her phone rang — it was Sasha.
“Clara, have you heard about Heidi? It’s just too delicious — I’ve been laughing all day, haha.”
Clara, far from amused, replied calmly, “If I hadn’t realized what was happening in time, it would be my name trending, not hers.”
Sasha clenched her teeth in frustration. “That’s what she gets for playing games, Clara. Just be careful; that woman is a lunatic.”
“Mhm, I know. How’s the promotional shoot going? Getting along with Dr. Chase?” This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.
“It’s alright. I’ve got to shoot an emergency scene soon, so I’ll catch you later.”
Sasha hurriedly ended the call, about to relax, when a tall figure appeared before her.
Dr. Chase, in his white coat, looked at her with a maverick grin. “Why do you run every time you see me? Am I that scary?”
Sasha rolled her eyes. “Don’t you know what you look like?”
“Watch your mouth, young lady. I’ve got some late-night snacks with me; . Want to join?”
“No, thanks. I’ve already eaten.” But just as she finished speaking, her stomach betrayed her with a loud grumble.
Chase chuckled. “Seems your stomach’s more honest than you. Come on, it’s your favorite.” He reached out and pulled Sasha to her feet.
After a grueling day of shooting, Sasha was exhausted, and her energy was sapped away.
