Chapter 4176
Chapter 4176
When Shin and the others saw that, they were speechless. That person who had looked down on them
was completely bound and on the ground at that moment. He looked pathetic.
Jack quickly walked toward Warren, reaching out to pull off the mask to reveal his face.
Jack controlled his energy, reducing the destructive power in Warren's soul.
After the pain diminished, Warren slowly woke up.
He looked up and saw the one person he never wanted to see in his life.
He lost his voice as he said, "Jack?! It's you!"
He almost bit his tongue as he spoke.
Jack smiled and nodded slightly, "Yes. It's me..."
"No wonder, so it's you! Where's Presti then?" Warren looked up and said.
Jack raised an eyebrow and shot an incredulous look at Warren.
Warren immediately understood what happened, and his whole face turned pale, "He's dead?!"
Jack nodded. There was nothing much to hide.
Warren gulped, suddenly feeling like his thoughts from earlier were an absolute joke at that moment.
He had even been thinking that Zayne was being too cautious, but he was the one who had been short- sighted.
Warren took a deep breath, "What are you trying to do? Are you really planning on going against us? You're strong, I'll admit it! I'm not a match for you! However, you should think about what you'll face if you kill me! You'd be declaring war on all the warriors at the peak! You'd be at a severe disadvantage when it comes to the numbers! You won't be able to defeat us!"
He struggled as he spoke. His warnings were quite threatening, but they were just jokes to Jack's ears.
Jack smiled and said, "You should stop wasting your efforts. If I didn't want to go against all of you, I would have tried to avoid any conflict. Would I have killed Presti?"
Jack's words were like a bucket of cold water over Warren's head.
Warren started shivering.
That was true!
If his threats have worked, then Jack would never have bothered going against them in the first place.
Was Jack really going to kill him?
Was he going to die?
He did not want to die, he had a bright future ahead of him. He was a warrior at the peak!
He clenched his teeth and said, "Jack! Let me go! I'm willing to do anything as long as you let me go!"
Jack started to laugh. There was such a huge difference between different people.
Desmond refused to say anything, but Warren caved in before anything even happened. It saved Jack a lot of effort. Jack nodded. Warren did not really have a past with him anyway, so he did not mind letting Warren go.
"I'll ask you again. Where is the door? Of course, you can choose not to answer," Jack said very calmly as if he was not talking about anything important at all.
Warren nodded, "I'll talk, I'll talk! You'll let me go after that, right?"
Jack said, "As long as you don't lie to me, I don't mind letting you go."
Zayne was still waiting for news in front of the door. He had been waiting for a long time which caused Zayne to worry a little. Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.
At that moment, Seymour suddenly rushed back from afar.
Zayne looked up and noticed that Seymour was alone. Zayne started to panic.
He walked right over, "Why are you alone?"
Seymour took a deep breath, and his face was a bit pale, "I couldn't find Presti. I looked around for a while
and saw quite a lot of regular warriors, but I couldn't find any trace of Presti."
Zayne's face darkened as he realized something was wrong, "Did something happen?"
Seymour shook his head, "I can't tell for now, but he must have encountered some trouble if he's not back yet."
As for how much trouble it was, it was hard to tell. If it was just a minor issue, then he would be able to deal with it after some time, but if it was a major one, his life could be in danger.
