Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 208

Chapter 208

"What?" Dylan was a little stunned. Then, he quickly said, "Yes! Of course I'm delighted! Look at you! How much freedom and happiness you have! Not only does your wife not care about you, but she even told you to have fun. You're the world's luckiest man! I'm so envious of you."

Nothing of what Dylan said sounded like he was envious. On the contrary, he was mocking. Material © NôvelDrama.Org.

Scott silently took out his phone and went into his contacts to make a call.

Dylan looked at Scott. Scott was the type that would never react no matter how much one laughed at him. He did not care at all.

However…

Scott held his phone to his ear. "Hey, Belle."

Startled, Dylan immediately snatched Scott's phone and intended to end their call. To his surprise, there was no ongoing call at all.

He had been tricked!

Scott took his phone back from the stunned Dylan—who then swore at him—and got in the car.

Just because he was ill-fated, Scott had to drag others down with him, too!

"Scott, you bastard!"

Dylan went into the car and started the engine. Scott took his phone and tapped on his phone. "I don't mind calling Belle at all."

That effectively silenced Dylan. He could not afford to offend Scott.

The chauffeur left after sending Naomi back to her room. Naomi stood up from her wheelchair and slowly walked over to the table. She took her briefcase and retrieved the documents, her notebook, and a pen.

Her leg was much better after a few days. She found it easier to walk compared to the past two days.

She could care for herself even without a caretaker, but everything was just slower.

After taking things out, she placed her phone by the side and looked at the time. It was about seven-something in the evening. She was going to work for two hours before washing up and heading to bed.

She was afraid that she would forget about the time. She even set an alarm for half past nine. That way, she would have half an hour to wash up and head to bed by ten.

After doing that, she started working. She soon got into work mode. Everything quieted down in the room, and time slowly ticked by.

Scott, Dylan, and Jonas were drinking in a private room at Sicily Pub.

Dylan told Scott about what Olivia said to her the night before. Although he had sent him a message, he was not sure if Scott had read it. To prevent any confusion, he told Scott once more.

However, Scott did not react at all after listening to what he said. Dylan did not know if he did not care if he knew about it, or perhaps he had a plan.

"Why do you barely react to this?" asked Dylan.

Olivia was so confident and narcissistic that he was stunned, yet Scott did not have any reaction at all. He was curious about what Scott was thinking.

Scott picked up his glass and swirled the wine. He lowered his gaze and looked at the wine. "What sort of reaction should I have?"

"What?" Dylan was stunned.

This was not something he should do. This should be an instinctive response.

Before Dylan could say anything, Scott continued.
