Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 45

Scott put down his phone and stared out the window at the night sky. His expression was just as dark as the sky before him.

“Scott,” all of a sudden, Olivia’s voice rang out behind him.

Scott turned around and came face–to–face with a smiling Olivia. “Come on. Let’s go get some dinner.. Sasha’s fine now, and she’s resting.

Scott continued to stare at her. “You’ve just returned to the country, so you must’ve plenty of things to catch up with. I’ve already asked my assistant to book your tickets. You’re flying back to Willowstown tomorrow.”

The smile disappeared from Olivia’s face.

With that, Scott turned and strode away, leaving Olivia standing there, looking lost and confused. She opened her mouth to say something, but no words came out.

Some words were not meant to be said out loud since they could ruin everything she knew.

She clenched her fists and plastered another smile on her face, then stared at Scott, who was about to into Sasha’s room, and said, “I don’t need you to dictate what I do and don’t. Leah asked me to help her look after Sasha, and if you want to send me away, you can speak to Leah directly.”

Scott froze in his steps, then turned the doorknob and disappeared into the room.

A steely expression crossed Olivia’s face.

Naomi.

She overheard Scott and Naomi’s conversation just now. Why were they still in touch when they had. already gotten divorced?

Meanwhile, Charles and Dean arrived at the hotel Charles had booked for the night. Charles made the bed for Dean, then boiled him a kettle of hot water and arranged the snacks on the coffee table. Then, after making sure everything was alright, he turned to Dean and said, “Mr. Goodwin; is there anything else you need? I’ll be glad to go buy it for it if you do.”

The truth was, Dean was not a very particular man and did not need Charles to do all this for him, but he could not stop Charles in time. He smiled and replied, “It’s fine, Charles. You’ve already done enough.”

“No, no, I’m afraid if I’ve left out anything. Don’t be shy, Mr. Goodwin–just let me know if you need anything, and I’ll get it for you.” Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

Dean nodded. “I will, Charles. Thank you.”

Charles grinned. “No problemh, Mr. Goodwin.”

“Go get some rest. You must be exhausted over the past two days.”

**I will, Mr. Goodwin. Goodnight.” With that, Charles exchanged phone numbers with Dean and left.

the room.

He was about to return to the hospital to see Naomi again when his phone rang. He smiled when he

saw the name on the screen.

“Hi, Naomi.”

“Charles, it’s me, Mrs. Goodwin.” to his surprise, it was not Naomi on the other end of the line, but

Donna instead.

Charles paused, then replied, “Hi, Mrs. Goodwin. What do you need?”

“Well, I’m not sure if you’re aware, but the girl you and Naomi saved last night just so happens to be the daughter of Naomi’s ex–husband’s cousin. You do know that Naomi is divorced, right?” Donna asked cautiously.

Charles suddenly recalled the person he had seen when coming out of the elevator earlier that day. He had been right; it was indeed Scott Lawson he saw coming out of Naomi’s room.

“Charles?”
