Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 74

After finishing her busy work, Leah returned. She arrived at the hospital yesterday and stayed with Sasha after understanding her situation from the doctor. Both Sasha and Olivia were discharged on this day. The two of them were doing well.

After completing the discharge procedures, the three of them left the hospital together. While in the elevator, Leah spoke to Sasha, advising her not to run around after returning home and to take good care of herself at her grandparents‘ house. The perpetrator who harmed Sasha would face the consequences of his actions accordingly.

This did nothing to quell Sasha’s anger. She was still burning with rage. Just letting the other person go was not enough. Leah knew what was on her mind and had been trying to persuade her to let go of the matter and stop there. Alas, Sasha did not want to talk to Leah anymore and told her to ‘shut up“. Seeing Sasha’s attitude of complete refusal to listen, Leah became anxious and spoke more urgently. Finally, unable to bear it, Sasha shouted at her, “Ugh, you’re so annoying!”

Leah instantly stopped and blinked, her eyes quickly stinging with tears.

Olivia had been on the side, sending messages on her phone, and had not paid much attention to the two of them. Still, she caught bits of their conversation.

However, she did not interfere. She rarely got involved in other people’s affairs, especially with girls like Sasha who had a rebellious personality. She preferred not to meddle if she could avoid it. With Sasha’s sudden outburst, however, Olivia put down her phone and looked at Leah.

Tears welled up in Leah’s eyes, filled with sadness, regret, and deep guilt.

Olivia held Leah’s hand and said to Sasha, “Sasha, you shouldn’t shout at your own mother. That’s not right.”

Sasha saw the tears welling in Leah’s eyes. Her lips trembled, then tightened, hands crossed over her chest. “She just keeps nagging! It’s driving me crazy!”

Leah instinctively opened her mouth to speak, but Olivia squeezed her hand, signaling her to stop with a shake of her head.

Leah closed her mouth. However, tears still trickled down, and she lowered her head, silently wiping

them away.

Olivia said, “Let’s not talk about it now. You haven’t rested well these past few days. Rest properly when we get back to Willowstown.”

Leah glanced at Sasha, who still had her head turned away, then shook her head. She had something to say, but words failed her.

Olivia patted her, indicating she could speak later.

The elevator fell into a hush. The atmosphere grew exceedingly tense.

Just then, the elevator beeped and opened its doors. The women subconsciously moved to exit, but as they began to step forward, they all halted.

Outside the elevator stood Naomi, Charles, Donna, and Dean.

As the elevator doors opened, everyone stared at each other.

Naomi gazed at Olivia, her eyes pausing briefly before shifting away. She entered the elevator, appearing unruffled.

As she stepped in, Donna snapped out of her daze and hastily supported Naomi into the elevator, guarding her like an eagle shielding its chick.

Immediately behind were Dean and Charles.

Seeing the people inside, especially Olivia and Leah Charles gaze flickered. Then, he walked in and

pressed the ‘close‘ button.

The elevator doors closed, and a quiet tension filled the space within.

Naomi stood at the front, eyes fixed on the elevator calmly. She remained unaffected by those behind her, maintaining her usual demeanor.

However, the same could not be said for those standing behind her, particularly Leah and Olivia.
