CHAPTER 26
Chapter 26
“L–Luha Aurora…”
Jenny’s teeth clattered as though a chill just passed her body.
Aurora chuckled icily, “I am no Luna, not anymore. You helped Chloe expel me, remember? Even till today, I still
can’t believe that you betrayed me.”
“Luna…no, miss Aurora…I–I didn’t-”
“But looks like betraying me didn’t do you any good. You are still a maid, a slave, carrying my luggage for me. Nothing have changed.” Aurora smiled.
Jenny’s face turned tomato red.
Aurora looked away from her and turned to Damien, whose eyes were bloodshot.
“There is no need to yell at them. They were just following other people’s orders.”
“What they said…is it true?” he asked in a hoarse voice.
“If I say it’s true, will you believe me?”
“Then if they aren’t the boss, who is?” he asked dryly.
Aurora found it ridiculous that he even had to ask.
“You know it yourself.”
She casted an icy glare on Damien and turned her back on him.
“You just didn’t want to face it.”
Aurora headed to the front door in long strides. She heard Damien calling her name behind her back. But she NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.
didn’t turn around.
When she was still in Silver Blade Pack, Aurora had tried to talk to him about her situation many times before. But each time she opened her mouth, he interrupted her coldly.
He was so convinced that Hellen and Chloe were the good ones and she was the villain.
He didn’t give her any support when she needed it the most.
Now, the truth didn’t matter anymore.

Aurora left the hotel and went to the outdoor training field.
It was only 7 in the morning.
Yet there were many soldiers jogging on the tracks already.
Aurora came into the training field and started doing her warm–up by the track side.

Each time a member from Ever Moon Pack ran past her, they would slow down and call to her in a loud voice:
“Morning, Gamma Aurora!”
“It is a pleasure to see you here Gamma Aurora!”
“A beautiful morning, Gamma Aurora!”
Aurora smiled warmly and waved at each one of them.
These soldiers all have a big voice. Their interaction soon caught many people’s attention.
“Why are those large men greeting to a small woman?” a soldier from Silver Blade whispered to his friend.
“I don’t know…I heard that she is their Gamma?”
“Holy Crap. A woman as Gamma? She must be a natural warrior!”
Aurora stretched her body and got onto the tracks.
She didn’t give them any orders. But everyone from Ever Moon Pack all chose to run behind her in orderly lines.
They did this every morning in Ever Moon Pack.
It was these soldiers‘ instinct to follow their Gamma’s steps.
But not for soldiers from Silver Blade Pack.
Everyone was bemused as of why a group of large, study men were following the steps of a petite woman.
Aurora finished her 10 kilos under those curious gazes.
When she got off the tracks, her face was red and covered in hot sweats.
She pulled her shirt up and used the corner to wipe her forehead.
“Gamma Aurora!” A youthful voice came behind her back. “Do you want any water?”
Mon,
Aurora turned and found a soldier from Ever Moon Pack standing behind her back.
He was a young man at around 18 years old. He had a pretty face of an angel with light golden hair and almond
brown eyes.
He must feel hot after his morning exercise, so he had taken his shirt off.
His firm chest was covered in a thin layer of sweat.
This young man blushed when they eyes met and handed Aurora a bottle of water.
..Here,” he mumbled sheepishly.
Aurora took the water from him with a smile, “Still keeping up with your morning routine, Kaelan?”
The young man named Kaelan grinned flashing his white teeth, “Of course. Like you told me, 20 kilos each morning. Never missed it for a day.”
“Good.” Aurora nodded.
The young man’s eyes glinted with joy when he heard her compliment.
Kaelan was Ever Moon Pack’s soldiers. But he had a miserable early life.
He was an orphan living by the border. His parents both died in a battle with the rogues. He enlisted in Ever Moon Pack’s army after he lost his entire family because he had nowhere else to go.
Yet because he came from a far–away town, maybe too close to the rogue’s territory, none of the other soldiers trusted him. Kaelan was severely discriminated in the army.
Until Aurora came and became their Gamma.
She convinced to other soldiers to take Kaelan in and treat him with respect.
Because of this, Kaelan thought her as his life savior. He would follow her everywhere she went like a chick Imprinted on its mother.
Aurora drank her water and headed towards the dining hall with Kaelan on her heels.
“When do we start our official training, Gamma Aurora?” Kaelan asked enthusiastically. “And are you going to be there when we train?”
“The training will begin in a few days. And yes, I am going to be there.”
“Great!” Kaelan beamed, “I promise I won’t let you down in front of the other pack’s soldiers.”

The way he smiled reminded Aurora of a golden retriever.
She couldn’t help but stuck out a hand and rubbed his hair–though he was taller than she was.
“I trust you,” Aurora said softly. “Have you had breakfast yet?,”
“Not yet.”
“Then come to the dining hall with me.”
Kaelan scratched his head, looking reluctant, “I probably shouldn’t…the dining hall is reserved for Alphas and officers only. Soldiers like us have our own places to eat.”
“No, I insist.” Aurora patted his shoulder, “You are with me now. Come.”
Kaelan’s mouth stretched into a large smile.
They arrived at the dining hall. The room was already packed with people, all of whom were nobles from Silver Blade Pack and officials from packs here for the training.
The breakfast was an open buffet.
There were various kind of pies, breads, bakeries, fruits, and beverages on the table.
Kaelan’s eyes lit up with excitement when he saw the food, “These all seem so good!”
Aurora handed him a plate, “Take whatever you like.”
They joined the line of people taking the food.

A few people ahead of them were in the middle of a heated discussion. They happened to be talking about Aurora.
“Have you heard about what happened last night?” a lady from Silver Blade whispered. “Our former Luna has returned…as Ever Moon Pack’s Gamma! And she was still hot–tempered as usual–she threw lady Chloe out of her
room!”
“Christ! She is a rejected she–wolf, a damaged goods! How does she have the audacity to parade back here and bully lady Chloe on our soil?”
“Indeed! And I heard that she is fucking Ever Moon Pack’s Alpha. What a slut…”
A loud howl rang out, interrupting their conversation.
Kaelan dashed forward and grabbed one of the gossipers by her collar. He leant close to her horror–struck face and snarled:

“What the fuck are you saying?!”
The noble lady quivered in fear and screamed, “Who the hell are you! Security! Help me!”
Everyone in the dining hall snapped their heads around and looked over.
“I am Gamma Aurora’s subordinate!” Kaelan snapped, “No one disrespect my Gamma in front of me. Apologize,
now!”

The woman screamed and struggled violently. But there was no way she could out–strong Kaelan.
A few security guys approached Kaelan carefully.
Kaelan jerked around and hissed at them, exposing his sharp fangs.
Those guards froze with fear instantly.
At this heated moment, Aurora spoke up in a calm voice, “It is alright, Kaelan. Let her go.”
“But…” Kaelan looked back at her with a grievance look. “What they said…”
“I know. Let me deal with it.”
It still felt nice to have somebody on her side unwaveringly.
Just then, a few people walked into the dining hall. The leading person was Hellen and Chloe followed right behind her mother.
Chloe quickly examined the situation before covering her mouth and gasped:
“Oh god…what happened? Who brought this filthy soldier in here? He doesn’t belong.“v
