Refusing 34

Julia's disappearance in the bar could either be a small inatter or a linge one. If she was found quickly and unharmed, the bar owner would be the hook. But if something bad happened to her on his nud, the bar would likely be history, rumors and

Despite Harry's many y visits in the bar, the owner had never seen him lose his cool. He knew of Harry's ruthlessness only through rum couldn't truly grasp the fear and pressure people described until now.

At this moment, the bouncer who had given Harry directions looked at his hoss and Harry sitting opposite. He didn't understand why a simple disappearance would warrant the boss's attention, but seeing the powerful Harry, he realized the situation was serious. Sir, I swear I don't know anything the bouncer lahned, thinking he'd only given a bottle of water to a lady in distress and hadn't done anything else out of line.

The bouncer thought playing dumb might help him skate by, but Harry had spotted his deceit from the start. "He must know where Julia is, Harry thought.

The bar owner wanted to trust his staff, but he knew disappearances in bars were common, and sometimes his staff helped patrons out for a tip under the table. He'd tum a blind eye as long as it didn't cause trouble, Hat this time, it was Harry's woman who disappeared. N Seeing Harry's suspicion, the bar owner also sensed something was wrong and sternly demanded, "Spill what you know. If anything happens to Mrs. Wright, pack your things and leave. You're no longer one of my people"

The bouncer felt a knot in his stomach as he heard "Mrs. Wright" He glanced at Harry, recalled his boss's attitude, and instantly was sure the man before him was Harry.

The bouncer's legs gave out, and he fell to his knees, pleading. "Mr. Wright, I really don't know where Mrs. Wright is now. I'd have no clue even if you kill me. I only saw Mrs. Wright looking upset and handed her a bottle of water"

Harry narrowed his eyes, and the bouncer quickly spilled the beans. "I just know someone messed with that water, but as for who took Mrs. Wright,

I have no idea."

The water was drugged, and Julia had drunk it. Harry didn't know whether to call Julia naive or stupid for accepting drinks from a stranger at a bar. "She's just asking for trouble, he thought. "Who told you to g

to give Mrs. Wright the water? Harry's glare fixed on the bouncer.

The bouncer had no choice but to tell the whole story. "It was a tall and heavy guy. He gave me 2,000 dollars to hand Mrs. Wright a bottle of water. I had no idea he was targeting Mrs. Wright"

"Do you remember what the man looked like?" Harry asked, his face dark

"He wore a mask. I only remember his eyes, the bouncer replied.

"What are you waiting fort Pull up the surveillance and find Julia now. If anything's happened to her, you'll all pay, Harry barked.

The bar owner mobilized all security personnel to check cameras and search everywhere. Abruptly, the music stopped, and lights flooded the place. Everyone inside was confused. Now, no one could leave until Julia was found, as per Harry's directive.

At Ihona Hotel, Julia slowly woke up, confused and disoriented. Rubbing her forehead, she sat up in bed and found herself alone in the room, with a headache splitting her bead open. After resting for a moment, she walked to the door.

She tugged at the door, only to realize it was locked from the outside. It took her a few seconds to fully wake up. Withstanding the headache, she walked to the window. Looking down, she instantly scrapped the idea of escaping through it. Twenty floors up, a jump would m

No one came in, and Julia didn't even know who had taken her. Pacing anxiously in the room, she realized all means of contacting the outsid world had been taken from her. She felt like a bird trapped in a cage with no way out

Time dragged on, and Julia's anxiety soared. 'Harry is probably cozying up with Arya by now and clueless about my abduction. He won- looking for me, and I have to save myself,' she thought.

After trying in vain to find a way out for what felt like an eternity, footsteps suddenly approached from outside

the door. Caught off guard Julia took a deep breath to calm herself and lay back on the bed, pretending to still be asleep. She needed to know who had taken her and why:

The door creaked open. Julia wanted to see who was entering but didn't dare make any sudden movements for fear of revealing she was awake. So she remained still on the bed.

As the footsteps drew closer, Julia's heart raced.

A dark shadow fell over her, and her vision seemed clouded by a thick fog. As she was torn between fear and the urge to open her eyes, the newcomer suddenly sat down beside her.

"What a beauty! Even without makeup, you're prettier than any woman I've been with before. The man smirked as his hand slowly reached toward Julia

When Jalia felt someone touching her clothes, she couldn't hold hack any longer. She abruptly opened her eyes to see a greasy, obese fare just inches from hers. The left side of his face was porkmarkel, ugly as sin

The man seemed taken aback by Julia's sudden awakening. He didn't expect her to wake up so quickly.

It took Julia a moment to regain her composure. She shoved the man away, got off the bed, and grabbed the nearest object to defend herself, demanding. "Who are you? Did you bring me here?"Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

"Yeah, I've had my eye on you since you walked into the bar. A beauty like you going to a bar alone isn't safe, so I kindly had someone bring you here, the man said, excitedly rubbing his hands together. "This is the twenty-fifth floor. I've locked the door, and my guys are outside. The only way out for you is through the window."

Julia had already sized up the situation. There truly was no escape, but she'd rather jump than let this disgusting man touch her.

Her palms were already sweaty with nervousness, and because she was afraid of heights, she didn't dare to look out the window again.
