Chapter 237 Unacceptable
Chapter 237 Unacceptable
Edric laughed. In the past, to stop Margaret from bothering him, he had asked John to go to the sperm
bank to find a sperm sample to give it to Margaret to find a surrogate. He had said to Margaret that he
had told John to go to fetch a sperm sample from a doctor to deceive her.
Therefore, he had asked John to find a sperm provider that was highly educated and healthy. He did
not mention anything about the sperm provider's nationality. So, John had passed Edric's request to the
doctor and the doctor said that coincidentally, a professor was going to donate his sperm at a later
date, so he gave the sperm of the professor to John.
After Edric had gotten the sperm, he handed it to Margaret and did not care about the matter until the
time when Marie and Lily had schemed against Edric. After confirming that Lily's babies did not belong
to him, Edric was relieved. So, he asked John to check the information of the person who had provided
the sperm to give Lily a big surprise after she gave birth to the children.
Hence, John once again went to the doctor to ask about the information regarding the sperm donor.
Originally, information concerning the sperm donors was confidential, but after John used a special
gateway, he got to know that the other party was indeed a professor and was a foreigner.
Edric was also surprised upon hearing that. If Lily really wanted to give birth to her children, he wouldn't
stop her anymore. She would only reap what she sowed in the end. Such a result was the best for a
vicious woman like her.
Up till then, Edric felt that it was time to harvest his goods. Simon, who he had placed by Marie's side,
was beginning to live up to his usefulness. As long as Simon reported to Deborah that Lily had given
birth to mixed-race children, had her uterus cut, and that Marie already knew that Lily wasn't her
daughter, a good show would start. Deborah would most definitely think that Marie was trying to take
revenge against her by deliberately letting Lily give birth to those children and by cutting her uterus.
By that time, the two vicious women would turn against each other because of that matter. He was
looking forward to what would happen when those two were to go against each other.
After Edric left, Kinsey was still unable to control her excitement. Edric's scheme was incredibly vicious.
If Marie and Deborah really turned against each other, she couldn't imagine how many things of the
past they would bring up. By that time, the two b*tches would fight with each other, and the rest of them
would only eat popcorn and enjoy the show on the sidelines.
As they had achieved their revenge right then, what was left was the problem regarding Irene. While
Edric most definitely still had feelings for Irene, Nathan also had done so much for Irene's sake, so who
was she going to choose? For Kinsey, she was still rooting for Irene to choose Nathan. She asked,
"Irene, why hasn't Nathan returned yet?"
Irene's face darkened. She said, "Kinsey, Nathan has some issues in his mind, so he won't be returning
for the time being."
"Issues? What kind of issues?" Kinsey felt strange.
Irene told Kinsey about how Nathan fell into Joanne's scheme, but she didn't mention Jodie's
pregnancy. Kinsey was furious, "How can Joanne be so vicious? What are you going to do now?"
"What else can I do? Nathan fell into her scheme, so of course I have to forgive him," Irene replied.
"Nathan is innocent, but how can Joanne be such a hateful woman?! I have to tell Jordan about this. If
he marries such a vicious woman, he'll suffer throughout his entire life!" Kinsey said.
Kinsey thought that Jordan had no clue about the matter and ignored Irene as she held her back, going
to find Jordan to talk about that matter. However, she did not expect that Jordan had already known
about it. Kinsey glared at Jordan, "What a friend you are. Since you have known it for a long time, why
didn't you tell me?"
"You're too talkative, and I was afraid that you'd affect Irene's mood by telling her," Jordan replied.
"Pfft! You make it sound like you're doing it for Irene's sake. Do you dare say that you're not trying to
cover up for Nathan? All men are bad news!" Kinsey retorted.
"Being a human is already bad news in the first place," Jordan smiled.
"Don't play word games with me. Tell me, how are you going to deal with this?" Kinsey asked.
"What do you mean by that?" Jordan asked in return.
"I'm talking about Joanne, that vicious woman. Could it be that you still want to marry her into your
family?"
"I'm a man of my word. I've promised her that I'll marry her in three years if she still likes me by then. If
Joanne really waits for me for three years, it'll be difficult for me to not marry her too," Jordan sighed.
"Why are you so pedantic? Is it necessary to keep your promise towards such a vicious girl like
Joanne?" Kinsey glared at him.
Jordan laughed heartily, "I'm just joking with you. I've already come to a conclusion about this. I'm just
worried about Nathan right now. Nathan isn't like me. He has a strong sense of responsibility and is
extremely stubborn. He's definitely feeling sorry towards Irene because of this matter. I'm worried that
they'll grow apart because of this."
"This matter isn't Nathan's fault. Irene has already forgiven him. There won't be any problems," Kinsey
replied.
"I know that Irene will forgive him. However, I heard that the woman that Nathan had slept with is a
woman who has lost her memory and has nowhere else to live. That woman doesn't even know her
own identity. If she stays in the White family the entire time, wouldn't Irene feel uneasy whenever she
sees her in the future? What's more, it would be bad if that woman realizes that Nathan is not only
handsome but rich, and she shamelessly pesters Nathan," Jordan said.
"That really is a problem," Kinsey also felt that the matter was quite tough to deal with, "I think we
should urge Nathan to send that woman away."
"I've already recommended this idea before, but Nathan said that the woman was too pitiful, she
doesn't even have any of her old memories, so where can he send her off to?"
"Can't we just find her family for her? Anything is fine as long as she leaves Nathan," Kinsey
suggested.
"Nathan has already done that, but he couldn't find any information regarding the woman's family from
the police," Jordan frowned.
"How about this? That woman will definitely affect Nathan and Irene's relationship if she stays by
Nathan's side. I think that we should bring that woman here in Haverland and take care of her, so that
she will be further away from Irene and Nathan, as to not affect their relationship," Kinsey suggested
again, "Or if there's no news about that woman abroad, could she be a local resident? Why don't we
ask Nathan to send her photos to the police and ask for help? We might be able to find some
information based on her photos."
"There should be some difference between her photo on her identity card and a photo of her in her
normal life, right?" Jordan thought that comparing her photos with the police was too unrealistic and
difficult, but there wasn't any other better way so far. After much consideration, he accepted Kinsey's
suggestion in the end.
Jordan then called Nathan to ask him to send Rowane's photo to him so that he could search for her
information with the police there. Nathan also thought that the method was too troublesome, and they
might not be able to find any clues in the end, but he still sent Rowane's photos to Jordan in the end.
Jordan was shocked when he received the photos. Wasn't that woman Rowane?
Rowane was not a good person. Remembering that Rowane had been involved in the scheme to get
Edric and Lily together, Jordan became anxious. It seemed that Nathan's accident had been set up by
both Joanne and Rowane. Rowane was definitely up to no good. Her so-called amnesia had to be an
act too. He then immediately called Nathan to talk about it.
Nathan was also surprised upon hearing that. If what Jordan said was true, then Rowane might really
be in cahoots with Joanne and Lily. That must be her scheme.
Nathan was extremely upset. He drove back home immediately.
Britney was surprised to see Nathan's solemn expression. She thought that Nathan had found out
about Rowane's pregnancy. Then, Nathan and Britney went into the study, "Britney, I'm back today
because I have something important to tell you."
"What is it?" Britney asked.
"I've found out about Jodie's real identity," Nathan said.
"Really?" Britney was elated, "What's her real name? Have you informed her family?"
"Her real name is Rowane Wood. She doesn't have any family members," Nathan replied.
"How pitiful!" Hearing that Rowane did not have any family left, Britney felt sympathetic towards her.
Nathan then smiled bitterly and said, "Britney, that's not what I want to talk about. It's something else. Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
Rowane is a devious girl. She's vicious and her personality is different from what we see."
Nathan told Britney about Rowane's attempt to harm Edric. Britney was very surprised, "You really can't
judge a book by its cover. Such a gentle and kind-looking woman is actually such a vicious person!"
"That's right, that is why I suspect that she has ulterior motives. Her amnesia is definitely just an act.
Since she had cooperated with Lily and other people to frame Edric, who has even helped her before,
she'll definitely frame me as well. This time, it must not only be Joanne who was behind that matter, but
Rowane must also have something to do with it. I plan to hand her over to the police and let them send
her back to Haverland."
Britney nodded, "That's the only way. Send her away and see if she still can think of ways to harm
others!"
After that, she suddenly remembered Rowane's pregnancy, "Oh right, I forgot to tell you that Rowane is
pregnant!"
"What?" Nathan was shocked.
"She must have planned to get pregnant at this time. I was wondering why she agreed to everything so
easily. She even agreed to give birth to a child knowing that she would not get any fame out of it. Turns
out she was planning this all along. That vicious woman, Rowane! Get rid of the child in her belly
immediately, and then let the police send her back!" Britney was so angry that all the pity she had for
Rowane vanished.
Rowane was joyful when she heard that Nathan had returned. Although she knew that she should not
have fallen for Nathan, she still could not control herself. As such, she made tea and prepared to send
it to Nathan and Britney. However, she unexpectedly heard Nathan and Britney's conversation.
She did not expect that she had done such bad things in the past. How could she have harmed
Nathan's fiancée? Rowane could not accept that she was actually such a vicious woman. When she
heard that Nathan and Britney suspected that her amnesia was just an act, and that she was in
cahoots with Joanne, Rowane's tears fell.
The feeling of being misunderstood really was terrible. She had not plotted against Nathan, but she
knew that Nathan would not believe her. In his heart, he had already made up his mind that she was a
vicious woman and he would not treat her like before. When she heard Britney angrily saying that she
was going to get rid of the child in her belly, Rowane could not bear to stay any longer. She put down
the tray in her hands and stumbled out.
Seeing Rowane running out with her face covered, the security guard at the door felt that she was
acting a little strange, but he did not stop her.
After Rowane stumbled out, Dunn, who had been waiting outside, saw an opportunity and caught up to
her. Taking advantage of the fact that Rowane had her guard down, he knocked her out and dragged
her into the car. The car then sped away.
