Chapter 3155
Chapter 3155
Hepburn and the rest exchanged looks when they learned that Nathan had issued a challenge to the Alpha Wolf, Raytor.Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org
What a simple but crude way to settle things!
Nathan had once again taken Allot and his fellow veterans by surprise.
Allot muttered under his breath, "What a lunatic that Mr. Cross is! How could he challenge the Alpha Wolf to fight to the death? It's only a matter of time before this place is razed to the ground."
His men surrounded him and asked anxiously, "Sir, should we evacuate now?"
Nathan had mentioned that the place had been taken over. Hence, Allot and his men could technically leave.
However, Allot didn't see Nathan as his general and had not received orders from his superior to retreat.
After much thought, he said through gritted teeth, "We can't leave this place yet even though it's dangerous. Our superiors did not order us to back down."
His subordinates were dumbfounded.
Sh*t. We're done for. That lunatic, Nathan, is going to be the death of us.
Allot gave the Holy Maiden, War Gods of the Light, the bishops, and the Holy Knights a look, as these were the people in the Curia who believed in Nathan's powers. He said thoughtfully, "Don't give up hope just yet. We have quite a number of people in the Curia who believe in Nathan's powers. Who knows? Maybe Nathan might create a miracle for all of us."
His subordinates sighed as they could only hope for the best now. "Let's hope so."
Hepburn started to busy herself after Nathan issued the challenge to Gishwick's Alpha Wolf. She really wanted to help Nathan take down the werewolves.
After making sure that the Curia's army was clear with their duties, she immediately summoned rangers, bounty hunters, and lone warriors nearby on behalf of the Curia to go up against the werewolves.
She even promised them a handsome reward with money out of her pocket.
In reality, the number of rangers and bounty hunters who killed vampires and werewolves as a living had increased ever since these creatures wreaked havoc in Adrune.
Besides that, there were plenty of rangers and bounty hunters around the area.
Even so, however, only a handful offered to help after news of Nathan issuing a challenge to the werewolves got out. Most of the rangers and bounty hunters merely stood by and watched.
Everyone was eager to see how the God of War would go up against members of the werewolf clan led by the Alpha Wolf.
As night fell, Nathan came out of his office and gathered everyone to enjoy hotpot for dinner.
It was then that he noticed a dozen new faces at the table.
A lot of these people looked Aplothian, and most were from Eurasia.
They were the rangers and bounty hunters who had responded to Hepburn's summon to step up against the werewolves.
These people were either equipped with guns, carried crossbows, or had hand-crafted weapons.
Moreover, everyone was muscular and looked war battered. It wasn't hard to tell that they were skilled veterans of war.
Nathan received these people personally and expressed his gratitude for their charitable acts.
The bounty hunters gazed at Nathan
in admiration. The leader of the
group said excitedly, "Mr. Cross, we're actually Eurasians. We became bounty hunters because we
were left with no choice. Ev

thought was a joke when we received news that someone had plans to stand up against the werewolf clan with a small army consisting of a few hundred
soldiers. But I was put at ease when I found out that you would be leading the troop. Only our God of War is bold enough to lead a small troop up against the huge werewolf clan army. We have looked up to you for a long time. That's why we responded to the Curia's call to join the army.”
Nathan smiled. "Thank you for your praises. How many rangers and bounty hunters are there in the area?"
One of the bounty hunters replied,
"We have all kinds of hunting troops around here. There are probably thousands of members in the local wandering warriors association. But most of them are foreigners. They didn't dare to get involved when they learned that you only have a few hundred soldiers under your
command to go up against the
werewolf clan."
Nathan asked out of curiosity, "Why are you not afraid? Why did you come?"
The bounty hunter smiled. "Mr.
n
Cross, you're the God of War of Eurasia. As the people of Eurasia, how could we back down when you're willing to risk your life for this war? We're all willing to put down our lives to go to war with you."
Nathan felt touched. “What an honor to receive so much trust from all of you. We will show the world how strong we, Eurasians, are through this war.”
The crowd cheered enthusiastically at that.
