Chapter 3453 Foreboding
Helios glared at Nathan in hatred, not uttering a single word.
Nathan looked toward the other two Demigods. Similarly, they showed no intention to speak.
He chuckled, then waved his hand.
Seeing that, Braydon said to the twenty military experts on the scene, "All of you, retreat. Also, turn off all the surveillance cameras here."
"Understood!" The experts on the scene all stepped back, and the cameras on site were all switched off.
Braydon said to Nathan, "Mr. Cross, I will take my leave first."
With that, he left the room, taking his entourage with him.
Subsequently, only Nathan, his confidants, and the three Demigods were left inside the room.
Nathan said calmly, "I remember when I first joined the army, our military instructor taught us about interrogation. He once said, 'As long as you're alive, I can pry information out of you. There are no exceptions." Helios continued to glare at Nathan, remaining silent.
Nathan turned his head and said to Colin, "You do it!"
Colin said, "Yes, sir!"
After saying that, Colin promptly placed a suitcase on the table and opened it.
To everyone's surprise, inside was an array of neatly arranged tools such as hooks, small knives, pliers, and so on. It was a complete set.
Just looking at the items inside the suitcase gave one the creeps.
Colin said coldly to the three Demigods, "Last time, I was in a rush. This time, I have plenty of time. I hope you won't bring trouble upon yourselves."
The expressions of the three Demigods changed subtly, yet none of them spoke.
Nathan stood up and said, "I'm going to have a smoke. Colin, you carry on with your work."
After saying that, he went out to the hallway to smoke.
Behind him, Colin's voice as he interrogated those Demigods echoed incessantly, accompanied by the sounds of punishments being executed. Helios could no longer bear torment and let out agonized screams. Before they realized it, three hours had passed.
Colin was still carrying out the interrogation.
Helios' shrieks gradually weakened.
Those Demigods' consciousness was starting to blur, but they were still hanging on, refusing to speak and unwilling to confess anything.
Colin grew furious. "So, you refuse to speak, huh? Then let me give you a taste of being flayed alive. Let's see if you can endure the sensation of being cut three thousand times while still staying alive."
Covered in blood and barely clinging to life, Helios looked up at Colin with a resentful gaze. He spoke slowly, "We Demigods never fear death.
Great warriors always welcome net
death Even after you kill me, I will return to where I come from. On the other hand, my companions will come here and avenge us. All of you humans will die."
Colin flew into a rage and was ready to skin Helios alive.
At that very moment, Nathan returned. "Colin, stop."
Stunned, Colin turned around to look at Nathan with a bewildered expression.
Nathan said calmly, "If you can't handle him, let me do it!"NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.
Colin quickly said, "Mr. Cross, these monsters are tough nuts to crack. How can we let you do such tedious work?"
Nathan calmly said, "It's okay. I'll give it a try."
Colin had no choice but to step aside, standing together with the Elite Eight.
Nathan casually extinguished the half-smoked cigarette in his hand on the ashtray on the table.
Then, he walked up to Helios.
Helios was on his last gasp, having been tormented by Colin. However, he remained stubborn at that moment, glaring at Nathan with eyes full of hatred. Nathan was unfazed, pulling out Snowsphere, the dagger he always carried with him.
Seeing Nathan brandishing a dagger, Helios sneered. "Ha! Your
men have used all sorts of torture on me, and didn't even care. Who are you trying to scare with that little· knife Come on, then. I'll let you slash me thrice. If I so much as grunt in pain, consider it my loss."
Nathan fiddled with the dagger and uttered with a playful tone, "I know you Demigods are all tough and unafraid of pain or death. So, I want to play something different with you guys." Helios and his two companions looked at Nathan's cunning expression.
A vague sense of foreboding rose within their chests.
