Chapter 12 That’s It
Please Bookmark This website.. i will upload daily latest Chapter .. Thanks Alondra couldn’t believe her
ears.
To her, it was unbelievable to hear Hendry arguing for Kaylah.
“Hendry, what happened to you? You hate Kaylah, don’t you? Why are you… You also saw what she
posted on Twitter. She didn’t care about you and the Lowery family at all. She was just pretending to be
nice to you before. Otherwise, why would she do this? She just wants to ruin you and Cecilia!”
“Hearing Alondra’s words, Hendry couldn’t help but feel a little annoyed.
From the day Kaylah suggested a divorce in the hospital, things had become a little out of control.
Hendry hated losing control of things. It made him very uneasy.
Perhaps Alondra was right. Kaylah was not so concerned about this marriage, otherwise, she would
not let it go so easily and insist on a divorce so resolutely.
“All right. That’s it. I will apologize to her on your behalf. And you should not cause trouble for her
in the future.”
Hendry warned Alondra sternly.
In any case, Kaylah was determined to divorce him. She had nothing to do with Hendry in the future. Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.
He did not want Alondra to target Kaylah again and use such a despicable method.
As for what Alondra had done to Kaylah, Hendry chose to compensate Kaylah accordingly.
Alondra was still unwilling to let it go, but she saw that Hendry’s expression had eased up a little.
Alondra guessed he intended to end this matter, so she thought for a moment and held back her
anger.
In the end, Alondra just nodded obediently. “OK. Hendry, I will do as you said.”
Hendry glanced at her and did not say anything. However, he no longer trusted Alondra as much as
before.
That afternoon, Hendry managed to contact Kaylah. He went straight to the point. “I agree to get a
divorce: See you at Civic Center Courthouse at 3 p.m.”
Kaylah replied coldly, “Got it.” She hung up the phone without waiting for Hendry’s response.
Divorce was a significant matter. Kaylah was quite concerned about it.
After Aryan heard about it, he immediately offered to drive her to Civic Center Courthouse.
At first, Kaylah refused. She said, “I can go by myself.”
“Are you kidding? It’s a big thing. If I let you go alone, your brother will skin me.” Aryan smiled like a
ruffian. “Besides, you’re going to divorce your husband. Don’t you want someone there to support
you?”
Kaylah thought it made sense, so she agreed.
Aryan found the most expensive and coolest sports car in the garage and took Kaylah to Civic Center
Courthouse in a good mood.
When Kaylah saw his arrogant smile, she could not help but tease, “Why are you so happy about my
divorce? Others might think that you hate me bitterly.”
Aryan rolled his eyes. “Isn’t it a good thing to get rid of a jerk? Shouldn’t I be happy?”
Kaylah smiled and nodded. “That’s true.”
The
sports car sped to Civic Center Courthouse, but Hendry arrived ten minutes earlier.
The car was stopped by the side of the road. There was no expression on Hendry’s face.
Alondra, who was by Hendry’s side, asked him carefully, “Hendry, are you really going to divorce.
Kaylah? Did she agree?”
Even now, Alondra was still in disbelief. She thought, Kaylah loves Hendry so much. Why would she
give up so easily?
Is Kaylah playing hard-to-get?
Kaylah comes from a humble family. Why would she give up on such a strong and powerful man like
Hendry? I must be vigilant and watch them get a divorce with my own eyes.
Hendry was about to nod when he heard a sharp braking sound. He looked in the direction of the
sound and saw Kaylah getting out of Aryan’s expensive sports car. Hendry’s face immediately
darkened.
