“Does she really think she’s some big shot?” Quincy sneered. As he turned to leave, he sarcastically remarked, “Who knows how many men she has slept with? Pfft!”
Millie grabbed his collar and demanded, “Apologize to my friend.”
“And what are you going to do about it if I don’t apologize?” Quincy challenged, cocking an eyebrow.
Millie’s grip on his collar grew tighter with each passing moment.
“Come on, you’re just a woman. How strong could you really be?” he taunted.
Right then, Marvin cleared his throat lightly and told Millie, ‘Boss, he’s representing the amateur team today.”
“Him?” Millie sized up Quincy, chuckled, and delivered a direct blow, “He wouldn’t stand a chance against
me.”
Quincy’s expression darkened at her words. She might have her doubts about him, but questioning his racing skills was off–limits.
“What are you being so cocky about? Let’s race then!”
A faint smile played on Millie’s lips as she asked casually, “Are you sure?”
“I-“Quincy suddenly found himself stunned by the question.
Millie’s expression and indifferent tone were simply too arrogant. It was as if she were some legendary) expert.
There was a brief hush around.
Suddenly, a brash young man yelled, “Go for it! She’s just a woman! What are you afraid of?”
Millie glanced back to see a spirited young man, brimming with arrogance. “Just do it! If she loses, make her kneel down before you!”
Millie narrowed her eyes, while Quincy sized her up. Then, he rubbed his nose and chin. It seemed like he was intrigued by the notion. The idea of a woman kneeling before him sounded interesting.
“I won’t race,” Millie declined.
After that, she grabbed Rachel and was about to leave. Since her friend was a celebrity, she didn’t want to draw too much attention.
However, Quincy clearly had no intention of letting Millje go. “Don’t be a coward! You were pretty arrogant a moment ago, weren’t you?” he pressed aggressively as he grabbed her arm.
Millie was annoyed and warned in an icy tone, “Let go of me.”
“Let’s race. The loser will get down on their knees,” Quincy said seriously. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.
Millie narrowed her eyes, her gaze trailing from his arm to his eyes.
“Ms. Caldwell, are you scared?” Quincy raised an eyebrow. He chuckled and added, “Are you afraid that you’ll lose as badly as you did in your marriage?”

Millie’s heart clenched. She had never been afraid to lose. If she truly had, she wouldn’t have married
Winston.
In her world, she always knew the odds of winning and losing. Yet, there were exceptions.
Quincy narrowed his eyes and persisted in his taunts. “Did I hit a nerve? Cat got your tongue, Ms. Caldwell?”
He truly resembled a thug. But then, it was no surprise. After all, he was merely an amateur street racer.
Rachel lowered her voice and said, “Mills, forget it.”
As Millie remained silent, Quincy shamelessly eyed Rachel’s figure. He swallowed hard, his gaze unmistakably lecherous.
“Damn! You’re quite the stunner, superstar.”
At that point, Millie couldn’t hold back any longer. “Let’s race!” she declared. Her voice rang out powerfully, and everyone around turned their heads.
“A female racer, huh?”
“Wow! This is a rare sight!”
“The last female racer was Seven, right?”
“I heard Ms. Caldwell is just a pretty face with no talent. Can she really race
herself?”
or is she here to embarrass
The murmurs of discussion echoed in Millie’s ears. When they looked at her, their eyes were filled with scorn. The label “a pretty face with no talent” had stuck to her for far too long.
Millie clenched her fists tightly as she tried to ignore the skeptical gazes around her.
“What if you lose?” she asked.
Quincy chuckled and was about to explain the rules. “If lose-”
But Millie held her chin high, a hint of danger flashing across her beautiful and delicate face. She then pointed at Python Mountain and interrupted sharply, “If you lose, you cut off a thumb as a sign of respect for all life. Do you dare?”
