Probably Regretting
Alexander woke up the next morning with a splitting headache, his head was throbbing due to the hangover.
He groaned as he opened his eyes to find himself in an unfamiliar room but with a second glaze, he saw that it was Amelia’s bedroom.
He had once slept here with her…
“Arghh” Alexander got up from the bed with difficulty, he shook his head multiple times to have a clear vision and it helped a bit.
He sorted for his shoes and socks but didn’t find them and he concluded that Amelia must have kept them.
Just then, his eyes caught the bowl on the small table close by, there was a soup in the bowl and He had a rough idea that this was a hangover soup.
He grumbled as he pretended as if he didn’t see anything and got ready to leave the bed when the door suddenly opened and Amelia came in with a solemn face.
He raised a brow at her and she walked towards him “Drink the soup!” Amelia ordered him the first moment she walked towards him, she was so displeased.
A mafia shouldn’t let his guards down, how could he possibly have the time to get drunk when some people with no family name were after their lives??.
He was irresponsible
Alexander knew what she was thinking and why she had that displeased expression on, a small smile formed on the corner of his lips as he thought that she was worried about his welfare, but then again he refused to be ordered around by a mere woman, he couldn’t do as she pleases.
With that, His expression deepened in a few degrees as his eyes showed a cold glint to suppress her but to his surprise, Amelia maintained a strong and direct gaze with him.
Both eyes throwing thunders at each other, and none of them wanted to back down.
Amelia had passed through serious training in the Military camp so she wouldn’t cower in front of this damn mafia. He should be afraid of her and not the other way around.
With that thought in mind, Amelia stared really hard with teeth joined together so tightly that it might break at any moment.
A surprised look flashed past Alexander’s eyes but it immediately disappeared, Just then it was replaced with a smirk
” heh heh….” Alexander chuckled as he averted his gaze from her as he adjusted his sitting position “Interesting…!” He muttered softly with dim eyes
“Mr. Ron, Drink the soup, I have something else to do!” Amelia said expressionlessly as she suppressed her fury with a lump of saliva, she rested her gaze on the bowl of hangover soup on the table before looking at Alexander.
She felt something was off as she looked at the nonchalant Alexander and she gazed at him deeply.
“What?” Amelia asked with a displeased expression
Alexander didn’t feel the need to answer her as he rested his head on the headboard of the bed.
“What did you do to me last night??” Alexander narrowed his eyes at her a bit as he seized her up.
“What-what?? Do you think everyone is a pervert like you?” Amelia snorted through her nose “You aren’t even worth doing anything with!” She added as she glared at AlexanderMaterial © of NôvelDrama.Org.
“Ooh?? I thought as much but you can’t deny the fact that you almost took advantage of me last night!” Alexander said slowly and lazily
“….” Amelia was rendered speechless for a while before she retorted “How?? I didn’t do anything to you!”
“I was a bit drunk but I can feel you touch me yesterday, when you helped me out of the car, your hand brushed past my small boy!” Alexander said as a matter of fact
Though he was drunk he remembered when they were in the car, just that he was a bit drowsy, but still somber a little.
“And not just that, you stripped me!” Alexander added as he looked at the flushed Amelia
“That-that was-was me helping you, how was I to know and besides, I stripped you off your shirt because it was stained!” Amelia defended herself when she finally found her voice.
“You didn’t feel the need to take me to my room??” Alexander asked
“You clearly stated in the contract that I shouldn’t be found anywhere close to your room, talk more of entering!” Amelia said solemnly as she fiddled with her pajama
Alexander looked a bit confused until he finally remembered that he had added that to the contract.
Alexander seized Amelia up and down as he felt a bit guilty and thankful that she helped him out yesterday.
“Well, forget… here!” Amelia took the hangover soup from the bowl and brought it close to Alexander “Drink it and it will help you get rid of the hangover ” Amelia advised but Alexander seemed reluctant to drink it
Alexander turn his face away, seemingly looking like a child whose mother told him to drink a bitter concoction.
Amelia felt a bit confused as to why he didn’t want to drink the soup,” c’mon don’t waste time, drink up!” Amelia persuaded but Alexander pouted his lips as he frowned deeply.
“I don’t want to!” Alexander said softly as he frowned deeply, still sitting on the bed.
“C’mon drink it up, I don’t want you dying from the throbbing headache before you pay me this month’s salary!” Amelia said, referring to the contract, it was about time to pay that month’s salary according to the contract.
Alexander’s eyes immediately turned frost
So this was the reason she cared about him, he subconsciously mocked himself, and he thought she cared about his welfare.
“Take it out, I don’t want to drink anything from you!” Alexander said and Amelia was startled by his cold expression, he looked cute for a while but now, he suddenly looked cold.
Amelia sighed and placed the bowl on the table “Suit yourself then” she said and walked out, feeling confused as to why he was like that.
She doesn’t care anyway, who would want to care about a mafia, she’s probably regretting why she’s with him.
Those thoughts filled Alexander’s mind as he grabbed his head and the headache persisted.
What’s my deal about it, I don’t care too
He reassured himself that he wasn’t affected by her, and he made a mental note to transfer her the money.
His gaze fell on the soup again and he groaned “Ughh ”
He hates medicines especially Concoction of this sort.
