Joleen Lewis suddenly thought of something and reminded, “What about the shares of the Sean Group? You are a shareholder of the Group. Although snatching away so many people will cause the Sean Group to suffer losses, you didn’t gain much from it.”

“I’ve already sold it.”

Amanda Jewell took out an agreement. “Jake Sean has always wanted to acquire the Sean Group. When he heard that I had a falling out with Halley Sean, he contacted me as soon as I left and gave me this agreement. It will take effect as soon as I sign it.”

“Jake Sean? Halley Sean’s Second Uncle?”

“Yup.”

There were people from several departments gathered outside, whispering to each other.

Olinka glared at the group of people. “Why aren’t you going to work? If you don’t want to work, you can resign now. The Sean Group won’t keep you.”

After dismissing the crowd, Olinka took a deep breath and pushed open the door of the president’s office.

As soon as she entered the door, there was a loud bang, and an ashtray fell. The broken glass pieces splashed directly beside her feet, which gave her a fright.

The manager of the Sales department was being scolded badly by Halley Sean.

“What are you doing as the head of the Sales department? You didn’t know that your best salesperson was going to resign until three days after he lost contact with you. What have you been doing these three days? Do you know how many customer resources he took away?”

The sales manager didn’t dare to say a word and lowered his head to be scolded.

Olinka coughed. “President Sean.”

Seeing that Olinka was here, Halley managed to rein in his temper and bellowed at the sales department manager, “Get out!”

The office door closed, and the room fell silent. The atmosphere was terrifyingly heavy.

“How is it? Have you found anything?”

“I’ve got it.” Olinka took a few steps toward her desk with a complicated look on her face. “Those who resigned all went to the same company.”

“I didn’t know they are going to the same company. Which one?”

“Safe Home Real Estate.”

“Safe Home? What Safe Home? Is it not from Ducco?”

Halley knows almost every real estate company in Ducco. He had never heard of any Safe Home Real Estate.

Olinka took a deep breath. “The boss of the Safe Home is Amanda Jewell.”

Upon hearing this, Halley was immediately startled.

Olinka said, “She wants to ruin us all. The core members of the Sean Group were all taken away. Without them, there’s almost no way for us to complete the new project. I’m afraid the board of directors will hold us accountable.”

Only then did Halley recover his senses. “How is that possible? She’s a shareholder of Sean Group. Harming us won’t do her any good! What’s the use even if she takes away our core members? Her company is new anyways!”

As soon as he finished speaking, the phone on the table rang.

Halley picked up the microphone. “Hello?”

Halley finished his sentence with a fake smile. The moment he hung up the phone, he threw it down hard. Olinka was shocked by the splash that came out of the broken wires.

“What’s wrong, Halley?”

Halley put his hand on the desk and said through gritted teeth, “Amanda, she sold her shares to my Second Uncle.”

“What?”

“The company is going to have a board meeting. Jake Sean is going to change the president. He also said…”

“What did he say?”

“He said that if I couldn’t hold on, he could consider taking over the Sean Group and merge it to his own company.”

When he talked about this, Halley gritted his teeth so hard that they almost shattered. He said angrily, “Amanda Jewell! What a great Amanda Jewell! Working against me! The Sean Family has invited a wolf into their home!”

“Halley, where are you going?”

“She wants to destroy the Sean Group. I want to see how her Safe Home can possibly open!”

Three days later, Safe Home officially opened for business.
