Ayunda lived the days of pregnancy quietly without any disturbance from anyone. It doesn’t feel like Ayunda’s pregnancy is already seven months old. In about two months, Ayunda is predicted to give birth.

During that time Ayunda did not see David or Akmal again.

This afternoon Ayunda is preparing to check her womb accompanied by Lisa. The two of them went by car with the driver. After traveling for about thirty minutes, they finally arrived at the hospital that Ayunda used to visit. both Ayunda and Lisa walked side by side down the hospital hallway to the room of Doctor Sari, an obstetrician who had treated Ayunda from the beginning of her pregnancy.

“The content is good, both the mother and the fetus are all healthy. Do you want to know the gender?’ asked Doctor Sari while rubbing Ayunda’s stomach with a tool.

“Yes Doc” Ayunda answered as she got up from the examination bed.

After completing their monthly routine check-ups, Ayunda and Lisa left Doctor Sari’s practice room to return home.

They both walked back to the parking lot, where the driver was waiting. however, while they were still walking Ayunda and Lisa bumped into someone Ayunda didn’t want to see again.

“Ayu” called the person who also saw Ayunda walking, even though Ayunda had tried to avoid it, but the person still saw her and now even said her name, couldn’t help but answer Ayunda, because the person was holding Ayunda’s hand.

“Yes” Ayunda answered as she removed her hand from the person.

“How are you?” The person asked Ayunda and awkwardly let go of Ayunda’s hand.

“Fine,” she answered shortly.

“Come on Ayunda, you have to rest” said Lisa to Ayunda and Ayunda nodded her head.

“I’m sorry” Ayunda said goodbye to the person.

“Wait, you’re pregnant?” asked the person who seemed to have just noticed Ayunda’s bulging stomach.

“As you can see” Ayunda said then continued her steps followed by Lisa, leaving the person who seemed to still not believe what she had just seen.

Ayunda and Lisa got into the car, while the driver was ready to run them out of the hospital.

“Are you okay Ay? Have a drink first,” said Lisa and then handed a bottle of drinking water to Ayunda.

Ayunda accepted it and immediately drank it down to half.

“Thank you, I’m okay. It’s just that I didn’t expect to meet him in this condition. I hope he doesn’t accuse me of any kind again, after seeing me pregnant,” Ayunda said.

“Just let it go Ay, the important thing is that you are not what he thinks. Don’t think about it continuously, it will affect your growth and development, remember the doctor’s message” Lisa reminded Ayunda.

“Of course, because he is my spirit,” Ayunda said while stroking her growing belly.

David approached his daughter’s treatment room, there were already Bella and her mother waiting for Bianca who was being treated by the doctor.

“Take my blood sis, immediately” interrupted someone who had just arrived, asked the nurse to take his blood and quickly the nurse directed it like David earlier.

david was still standing stiffly in place with his fists clenched, his eyes bloodshot with anger. Mrs. Ratih was also still silent beside her son, while Bella was already worried about having to answer David’s questions later and for sure, Bella had to face her husband’s anger.
