Chapter 195
Chapter 195
The morning bustle was abruptly interrupted and Mia was thoroughly pissed off.
"Hurt?" Andre asked.
"Do you think?" Mia retorted angrily.
Last night, Andre had seen a stain of pure blood on the bedsheet, looking at his adorable wife beneath
him who seemed to want to bite him to pieces. He got up and released her. "You should skip school
today and rest at home. You didn't really get any sleep last night."
Mia picked up the pillow from the bed and hurled it at Andre, "Get out!"
Andre caught the pillow and placed it at the foot of the bed, "I'm going to change my clothes again."
The clothes he just changed into were a mess.
On the bed, Mia wrapped herself in the blanket, only showing her small face. She was too
embarrassed to get up and had to change her clothes until Andre left.
Soon, Andre came out and saw his wife wrapped up again, "After you fell asleep last night, I carried
you to take a shower."
Mia was stunned. So he had already seen her body?
Andre continued, "I've already bought a new phone for you, and it'll be delivered soon."
Mia blamed her husband in her heart, “It was you who broke my phone in the first place!”
Andre put on his watch and looked at the person on the bed with a smile, "You've tested it. I'm fine."
Mia's eyelashes lowered, like two small fans about to close. After reorganizing himself, Andre sat down
on the edge of the bed.
Mia moved away from him, "Don't come near me."
"Mia, you just experienced something like this last night, and I understand. But we're a couple, these
things were bound to happen sooner or later. You need to adjust your mentality as soon as possible
and be your lively and cute self again." Andre said.
Mia turned her face away, not listening to him.
"You lied to me last night,. You're perfectly fine. You tested me just to sleep with me." Mia said.
Andre chuckled, pinching his wife's cheek, "Silly girl, if I were impotent, your life would be miserable
too. Remember, you can hit me anywhere, but there, you're not allowed to touch, got it?"
Mia bit her lip.
Andre looked at the time on his wrist, "I've moved the morning meeting to the afternoon. I'm off to work
now, and I'll come back to see you in the afternoon."
Mia nodded, extending a pair of small hands from the blanket, waving at him, "Bye."
Andre smiled fondly. He leaned over to give his wife a kiss on the forehead before leaving.
Once he got to the office, Andre looked radiant. Noah asked, "Mr. Cedillo, could Jade really be Molly?"
Andre laughed, "I didn't get a hair sample from her last night, still uncertain. Don't tell my father or my
brother about this."
They had been disappointed too many times, and now that hope was right in front of them, he didn't
dare to excitedly tell them like before, only to see them fall into despair again. NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
"So, Mr. Cedillo, why are you so happy?" Noah asked.
Andre asked with a laugh, "Am I?"
Noah nodded, and so did Alice, "Mr. Cedillo, you look really happy, did Ms. Mia bring you any
surprises?"
The only person who could make Mr. Cedillo this happy was his characterful wife, no one else had that
ability.
Andre laughed, "As long as she doesn't cause me any trouble, I'm satisfied."
"But Mr. Cedillo, whenever you handle your wife's issues, I've never seen you show any reluctance."
Alice teased.
In response, Andre could only shake his head helplessly, his smile never leaving his face, "I'm her
husband, if I don't take care of her, then who should?"
He picked up some documents and stood up, "Let's go to the meeting room, we need to finish today's
meeting as soon as possible. I need to go home."
Havenbrook University.
Leo, who was injured, seemed a bit lonely.
"Alright, now we're going to take attendance. Those who are present please respond." The teacher
walked into the classroom with the roster.
"Jade."
Leo raised his hand, "She asked for a leave."
The professor circled a spot on the roster, then continued, "Mia."
Leo raised his hand again, "She also asked for a leave."
The professor was used to students skipping class, he asked Leo, "These two didn't run off together,
did they? Don't you three always come to class together?"
Leo said, "One had her brother ask for leave for her, the other had her husband."
The professor asked, "Where are the leave notes?"
Leo said, "Some people gave them verbal approval."
The old professor sighed, "This class can't go on! Next time I want to see the leave notes. Those
without will be counted as absent."
The professor continued to call names, "Leo, oh, you're the only one here."
As the teacher continued to call names, Mia got up, and her phone also arrived. Her legs were a bit
uncomfortable, but after moving around a bit, the pain eased. Walking around wasn't as difficult as it
was at first.
There was a blood-red stain on the bed, which was a proof of her farewell to girlhood. She felt
embarrassed and didn't dare to let the maid see it. So she rolled up the sheets and washed them
herself in the bathroom.
It was already noon, and Mia felt hungry. She threw the sheets into the washing machine, then went to
eat.
"Huh? Mia, aren't you going to school today?" Hansen saw Mia.
He also thought of his grandson going to school, "Or did Leo go off to play again?"
"I asked for a leave." Mia said.
The maid brought the food to the table, and she started eating.
"Mia, it's a good thing you're at home. Can you help me pass a level? I can't get past level 170 no
matter what." Hansen said.
Mia said, "You were only on level 125 last night, now you're on level 170! Did you stay up all night
playing on your phone?"
Hansen realized that Mia had discovered his secret late-night gaming, and he felt a bit embarrassed.
"Hush, keep your voice down. I just couldn't sleep last night, played for a bit."
Mia said, "Be honest with me, what time did you go to bed last night?"
Hansen tried to evade the question, "Oh come on, I was just playing a game. Staying up one night
won't kill me."
"If you don't behave, I'll tell my husband and have him take your phone away every night!" Mia said.
Hansen said, "You dare."
"You try me." Mia told Hansen.
This naughty old man, Mia thought he was bored at home so she taught him to play games, but he
didn't have any self-control at his age. He even stayed up late to play games. If this continued, she
wouldn't teach him to play games anymore.
"You always tell him about me." Hansen said.
Mia replied, "Well, isn't he the husband you helped me find?"
Hansen was left speechless. He realized that this couple didn't appreciate his matchmaking efforts at
all. Instead, they were treating him, an old man, poorly.
"You two really have no conscience." Hansen said.
......
In the afternoon, Andre came home, and Mia didn't even have the guts to look at him. She was always
avoiding his gaze. On the other hand, Andre's eyes were steady, always fixed on her, without any
sense of evasion.
