Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 218

Chapter 218

He looked up at Mia. Mia was quick-witted; she walked over, pulling Jade along, "Class is about to

start, stop crying. Your brother isn't going anywhere."

She then took Jade back to the classroom. Leo followed closely behind.

Andre got out of the car later, and not just him, Hansen showed up as well.

Chad said to Andre and Hansen, "We won't force Jade. You can be assured that we'll let her change

her name.” They would let Jade continue to live in this world.

Andre expressed his gratitude.

Hansen planned to find a time to thank the Byrne family. Chad declined, "My grandparents learned the

truth last night, and they've been quite overwhelmed these days. If possible, don't let Jade come home

these days, she will just cry again."

"Alright." Hansen said.

Chad went to work, and Andre and Hansen also left the university.

Bruce began to investigate his sister's case from that year. Andre took his father directly to the Marshal

family.

"Who did you say is here?" Brian was at home. He was not sure who the visitors were.

"It's Andre and Hansen."

"Please, come in." Brian said. Upon hearing the visitors, Ms. Marshal immediately asked someone to

wake her daughter up.

When Jillian heard that Andre was coming, she panicked and quickly dressed up and put on makeup.

In the living room, Andre and Hansen had already appeared. Both Andre and Hansen had stern faces,

which made the Marshals tread lightly.

Andre was young but held a high position. Even Brian, who was over twenty years older than him, felt a

shiver when Andre looked at him.

"Brian, I heard from my father that my sister died fifteen years ago. You were the one who found her. Is

this true?" Andre's expression was unreadable. It seemed like a simple question, a confirmation.

Brian nodded calmly, "Yes, the way Molly died, it was very disturbing to see. It's all in the past now, let's

not dwell on it."

A cold smile appeared on Andre's face, "Where did you find her? How did she die? Why couldn’t we

find her, but you could?"

"Andre, you're here." Jillian, all dolled up, quickly descended the stairs. Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

"Jillian, go get some water for Andre." Brian instructed his daughter.

As Jillian reached for the water cup, Andre blocked it, "No need."

"Andre, you and Hansen are here, how can you not have a drink? Or do you prefer coffee? I can make

it for you now." Jillian said.

Andre frowned in displeasure, finding Jillian annoying, "My wife gets jealous easily and likes to get

physical. If you don't want to get slapped again, stay away from me."

Jillian immediately recalled the stinging slap on her face at the Majestic Dining Enclave. Her smile froze

on her face.

Brian defended his daughter, "Andre, Jillian was just..."

He was interrupted by Andre before he could finish. Andre had no patience to listen to Brian singing

praises for Jillian. He'd heard enough, and he was sick of it.

"Brian, I have no interest in your nonsense. Where did you find my sister? How did she die? How did

you find her?" Andre asked sternly.

His purpose for coming here was to understand what happened that year. If the Marshal family had

tricked him with a fake sister, then they indirectly caused his mother's death. He would not let them get

away with this.

Brian sat there, angry at Andre's attitude, but he didn't dare to lose his temper. "In a bush."

"Which bush? I need a specific location." Andre asked.

Brian looked at the aggressive Andre, feeling nervous. Why were they suddenly asking this question?

Hansen was also awaiting the answer.

In the end, Andre drove with Brian to confirm the location. The bush from that year was now a concrete

road. Andre asked him, "How did my sister die?"

"She was assaulted by a homeless guy." Brian said.

Andre turned around, looking down at the dodgy-eyed Brian, "Who bribed you to give false testimony?"

"What!" Brian's pupils contracted, looking up in fear at Andre's icy stare, his heartbeat sped up, “Andre,

what do you mean?”

Andre asked him, “With so many people from the Cedillo family, even the riverbed was searched but

we couldn’t find Molly. How were you able to find her? Brian, who told you this location?”

“Andre, you can’t just make baseless accusations. I didn’t harm Molly. If I could save both of you, why

would I leave with just one kid? Besides, if I saved you two from your family, you would be even more

grateful. Why wouldn't I save Molly? I found her dead, that's it. I can't explain it to you, but I indeed

found her in the bush."

Andre asked, "Did I say you harmed Molly?"

When Brian remained silent, Andre continued, "Did you know, Molly isn't dead."

This time, Brian's eyes widened in disbelief, "Impossible."

"Why are you so sure?" Andre asked coldly.

Brian remained silent again.

Hansen had been patient for a long time, he walked over and slapped Brian's head, "Speak!"

"I really did take the child to the police station that year. I didn't know if she was Molly, and besides, it

was the forensic doctor who identified her, not me." Brian said.

Brian had been running the Marshal Group for many years; he was a cunning and savvy man. Andre

and Hansen were grilling him for ages, but he just kept pointing fingers at the coroner. However, the

guy who had done the blood tests, he was long gone.

Bruce was looking at the files in his hands as he heard his subordinate report, "Dr. Gordon quit right

after examining Molly's body. Haven't heard a peep from him in years."

The Cedillo family was in a bind.

School was out, and Andre was heading out with his car keys to pick up the three students. Once at

home, Mia immediately dragged her husband into the bedroom to check his clothes, "Let me see if

there's any lipstick on you."

Andre grabbed his wife's wrists and pulled her close, "There isn't. I've been really good, not getting too

cozy with other women."

Mia reluctantly let her husband off the hook.

"Honey, what exactly did you guys find out at the Marshal family's today?" Mia asked.

Andre shook his head, "Did Molly ever talk about the past?"

Mia replied, "She did." Then she told her husband about the time she were castaway at sea.

After hearing this, Andre fell silent. Mia looked at him, knowing he was mulling things over. She picked

up a towel to take a bath, "Honey, Jade doesn't need me to sleep with her tonight. I'll be back later."

Andre responded, "Alright."

Jade had been staying with the Cedillo family for three days. That day was Friday, and Hansen asked

his daughter, "Molly, would you like to take on Molly's identity again?"

Jade looked at her father's cautious expression, Naomi's hopeful eyes, and her two brothers' tense

faces. She replied, "I would. But, I want to go home first."

Upon hearing this, Hansen burst into laughter, "Alright, I'll drive you over."
