Chapter 237
Chapter 237
Even though she was a part-time principal and didn't really worry about school matters, she can't just
sit back and watch the students run wild. Mia gave her instructions and walked away with her handbag.
Her family followed suit, and Molly silently gave Mia a thumbs-up. It was only after they got into the car
that the three of them started to relax. Molly said, "Mia, I still don't know how you're going to stop the
students from cheating."
When faced with her family, Mia showed her inner conflict. "Actually, I'm not sure if what I'm doing is
right, but I always feel that being strict with them and making them review the learning materials is for
their own good."
Leo glanced at the time and asked the two ladies next to him, "Let me ask you both, where do you
want to go? Shall we have dinner, go home, or should I take you somewhere fun?"
Molly said, "Take me to the police station. I need to meet up with my brother."
Mia said, "Go to Cedillo Inc. I want to see my husband."
Leo's tone unexpectedly sounded cheerful. "Alright!"
Mia asked him again, "Leo, where are you going next?"
Leo replied, "I have my own matters to attend to."
Mia urged him, "Don’t stay out too late."
"Got it."
After dropping off the two ladies at their respective destinations, Leo left in his car.
Mia went straight to her husband's office, but there was no one inside. Alice and Noah, who were
outside the door, were also absent. Mia grabbed a drink and returned to the office to wait.
After a while, Andre appeared. He walked while giving Alice instructions about the year-end matters
within the company. Alice remembered everything he said.
When Andre returned to his office, he passed by the secretary's area and casually asked one of the
employees, "Has my wife arrived?"
"Yes, Mrs. Cedillo is waiting for you in the office," the employee replied.
Andre nodded and told him to continue working, then he entered his office. Mia was watering the
flowers boredly, using a water cup. She was about to go to the break room to get more water when she
turned around and saw her husband had returned.
"Andre, where did you go just now?" Mia asked.
Andre answered, "I had a meeting downstairs. Why didn't you message me when you arrived?"
"I figured you were busy, and I didn't have anything urgent, so I just waited for you in your office," Mia
replied.
Andre teasingly smiled, "You've suddenly become sensible. I'm still getting used to it."
Mia asked, "...So, do you want me to cause trouble for you?"
Andre shook his head, "How did the exam go this morning?"
"It went smoothly. I filled out the answer sheets completely. And Andre, there's something I want to tell
you. Do you want to hear it?"
Andre sat on the sofa, and Mia joined him.
Andre took the cup from her hand and said, "Of course, I want to hear what you have to say."
"Well, before my exam today, I discovered something about our class..."
Mia told Andre about the situation during the morning exam, and finally asked, "At the end of the exam,
I criticized the class reps. Do you think what I did was right?"
Andre thought it was something significant, but it turned out to be a small matter. He asked, "Do you
regret what you said?"
Mia shook her head and said, "I don't regret it. After all, it's part of the learning process. I'm not hurting
them; instead, I'm helping them grasp the knowledge. Now that we're all college students, I think it's
necessary to remind some of the students who lack self-discipline and help them focus more on their
studies."
"If you don't regret it, then it means you did the right thing," Andre replied.
Mia then asked Andre, "Will they misunderstand my actions as interfering too much in their affairs? Will
other students think I'm strange?"
This was her internal conflict and hesitation.
Andre said, "No, they won't."
Mia looked puzzled.
Andre continued, "Your position is obvious to them, and not many people dare to casually criticize you.
If someone does have something to say about you, you can think about whether you did something Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org
wrong."
If someone, due to Mia's excessive concern for others' affairs, looked unfavorably upon her and
complained to others, how would those who hear those complaints perceive Mia? Her well-intentioned
reminder was regarded as meddling, and she became the subject of gossip behind her back. So, who
would dare to be friends with the person who complains?
Mia understood this and let go of her worries. She embraced Andre warmly and kissed his neck.
Andre felt a flutter in his heart. His throat moved, and he whispered in Mia's ear in a hoarse voice, "Mia,
you don't have an exam tomorrow, right?"
Mia answered, "No, why?"
A satisfied smile appeared on Andre's face. "Great! You've already overcome your own difficulties, and
now it's time to settle the score."
That night, Mia couldn't escape her husband's grasp. She apologized, admitted her mistakes, and
expressed her love, but she couldn't escape from her husband's control. She regretted her previous
careless actions.
Mia was sweating profusely, her whole body was feverish, and her breathing was irregular. She felt like
a puppet, completely at the mercy of her husband's manipulation.
As she embraced her orgasm, Mia felt weak all over, thinking it was finally over. She planned to escape
from her husband's grip and take a shower. However, her husband spoke again, "This is just the price
you pay for the first time not obeying."
Mia asked, "How many more 'prices' do I have to pay?"
Andre gave her a cunning smile. "Three more times."
Mia shook her head. "You're talking nonsense. I haven't been that naughty."
Andre lifted Mia's chin and leaned closer to her lips. "Well, tonight I'll count it for you, one by one."
With that, Mia's words were once again drowned in the sheets.
"Honey, I promise you, I swear I will never make a mistake again."
Andre replied, "Do whatever you want, it's fine."
...
The next day, it was already daylight, but Mia was still asleep. At noon, she was still sleeping. Molly
knocked on her door, "Mia, if you don't get up soon, it will be evening."
Mia was startled, realizing she had slept the entire day. She quickly turned on the bedside lamp to
check the time on her phone. It was already 11:30 in the afternoon. She breathed a sigh of relief, put
down her phone, and rubbed her temples to wake up.
Her husband still had a bit of conscience, as he had closed the curtains before leaving in the morning
to ensure she had a good sleeping environment.
Mia sat on the bed, let out a yawn, and tears started flowing unexpectedly. She rubbed her eyes and
lifted the covers as she got out of bed.
At noon, she appeared in the dining room. Her phone showed that someone had sent her messages,
but Mia looked at the sender and realized she had blocked her husband. How could this man have the
audacity to ask if she was awake?
Andre had sent two more messages without receiving a reply. He even mentioned her favorite
restaurant, the Majestic Dining Enclave, but she still didn't respond. He tried calling, but nobody
answered.
Andre guessed that maybe she was still sleeping. If she continued like this, she might have trouble
sleeping at night again.
Feeling it was inappropriate to ask someone else to wake his wife, he decided to go home during his
free time in the afternoon to wake her up himself.
However, as soon as he arrived home, he locked eyes with his wife at the entrance.
