Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 239

Chapter 239

Andre sat on the edge of the bed, and he grabbed her feet and pulled her from one side of the bed to

his side.

Mia slid across the bed like a line. Her hair was all disheveled.

She had been lying down peacefully, but after being pulled over, she sat up on the bed and ended up

sitting right next to her husband. She looked adorably dumbfounded and said, "You pulled my feet."

Andre asked, "Do you want me to pull your hair too?"

Mia thought of retaliating, but Andre held her hand firmly as a warning. "Don't want your hand

anymore?"

Mia tried to pull her hand back but found that she couldn't. "If you're not going to sleep in the study,

then I'll go sleep in the guest room."

"Do you want the whole family to know that we're fighting and sleeping in separate rooms?"

Mia replied, "It is normal for couples to have a little conflict."

"We're a newly married couple. If we have conflicts, we have three mediators in the house and two

onlookers who take turns mediating for us. As long as you don't find it annoying, we can sleep in

separate rooms."

In Mia's mind, she could already imagine Naomi on her left ear, Hansen on her right ear, and two

bystanders who didn't care about the marital conflicts but were simply curious about the reason for the

fight.

Seeing that she was listening to him, Andre picked her up and placed her in the middle of the bed. "Are

we still sleeping separately?"

"Yeah," she said. "Darling, you go sleep in the study. I've even come up with an excuse for you. Just

say that you have a busy workload and need to work late in the study. You're worried about disturbing

my sleep, so you'll sleep there. That way, our family will think that our relationship is great, and they

won't know that I can't stand you."

Andre looked at Mia, who was considerate and even helped him come up with an excuse. At that

moment, he wanted to punch her.

"The good relationship between a couple should be mutual. Sleeping together in the study is what a

good relationship is all about," Andre said.

Mia furrowed her brows slightly, puffing up her cheeks and shaking her head. "You just need to be good

to me. I don't have to be good to you."

Andre sighed, "Have you forgotten what happened last night?"

As soon as Mia thought about last night, she kicked him even harder. ,Her feet couldn't be controlled

anymore, and Andre pulled her directly under him. "Want to experience it again?"

Mia shook her head.

Andre said, "If you kick me again, we'll repeat last night's events."

Mia silently sweared at him in her mind: excessive indulgence will weaken the body.

"Does that mean if I don't kick you to the study, you'll spare me tonight?" Mia asked.

"When did I say we would continue tonight?" Andre replied.

"That's how you acted this afternoon. Like we would do it again tonight."

It was precisely this point that made Mia worry about reliving last night's experience and not being able

to get out of bed in the morning to drag her husband to the medical examination.

Andre had no idea what made her misunderstand.

Mia continued, "You definitely won't spare me tonight, and I'll end up sleeping late, unable to get up in

the morning. Then I won't be able to take you to the examination, and you'll just ignore it."

Andre asked, "Are you afraid that we'll have sex again tonight, so you want me to leave in advance?"

Mia nodded.

Andre smiled, thinking her little scheme was really childish. "Don't worry, I won't touch you tonight."

Mia half-believed and asked, "Really?"

"Do you still want..."

"I don't want to. I really don't want to."

She covered her eyes with her hands. "Turn off the lights, I want to sleep now."

Andre shook his head helplessly. He turned off the lights in the room and then held her as they

prepared to sleep. But she moved away from him on the bed.

He immediately pulled her back.

Mia wanted to leave again, but her waist was firmly held by his hands, and she couldn't escape.

Andre said to her, "You should go to the hospital tomorrow for a check-up too."

Mia pretended to be asleep. "You want me to get a blood test? I won't let you succeed."

The next morning, Andre watched the brazen girl in front of him. She was eating and drinking without

any restraint. Then she pretended to be innocent and said, "Darling, the doctor said the morning

examination needs to be done on an empty stomach. But I'm already full now, so I can't do the

examination."

Andre knew that she did it on purpose.

At the hospital, Mia took the lead.

The nurse asked her questions, and she answered them. The nurse wanted to chat with Andre a bit Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

more, but Mia interrupted them.

Mia looked at the nurse and thought her job was tough, so she didn't argue with her. But she didn't

expect the nurse to be ungrateful and argue with her instead.

She filled out the forms and then angrily dragged her husband away. She was afraid that if she stayed

there any longer, she would lose control.

Mia became jealous.

Andre chuckled softly. He held Mia in his arms and said, "In that case, you've made it clear to everyone

that you're my wife."

Mia replied, "Darling, from now on, whenever you go for a check-up, it can only be me accompanying

you to the hospital. Remember that. You see, that nurse at the entrance, is she blind? Can't she tell

that I'm your wife? She calls you 'Andre'. She addresses you more intimately than I do as your wife.

She's very enthusiastic towards you, even wanting to hold your hand while you were getting blood

drawn. She even wanted to accompany you throughout the examination. Look at how enthusiastic she

is, she's trying to replace me as your wife. Luckily I were present today and had filled in my phone

number, if you had used yours instead, you would have received a friend request from a stranger on

your phone when we got home."

Andre remained silent, listening quietly to her complaints.

When they arrived on the third floor, where the examinations were conducted, a nurse was waiting at

the entrance. "Mr. Cedillo, Mrs. Cedillo, hello, I'm Perry, the nurse in charge of Mr. Cedillo's

examination."

Mia found this nurse quite pleasing, so she allowed her to accompany them. She realized that she had

become a middle-aged woman who was always on edge whenever they went out, afraid that her

husband would be attracted to other young girls. However, she seemed to have forgotten that she

herself had once been a young girl.

Andre went to have his blood test while Mia held his coat and stood by, talking to him. "Darling, I'm

feeling really upset right now."

Andre watched as the needle pierced his arm and asked, "Are you still bothered by what happened at

the entrance earlier?"

Mia nodded, "Am I being too sensitive?"

"It's normal. If I see someone with ill intentions towards you, I would also get angry."

After the blood draw, Andre stood up, discarded the cotton swab into the trash bin, and left with his

wife. "I promise you won't see her again the next time you come to the hospital." After saying that,

Andre tossed the cotton swab into the trash can.

Perry followed behind them, having overheard their conversation. Out of curiosity, she asked, "Mrs.

Cedillo, may I ask who were you talking about just now?"

Mia replied, "It's the nurse who was standing at the entrance just now. Do you know her?"
