Chapter 270
Chapter 270
These three, clearly, were spoiled rotten.
They had no idea that because of their actions, Ellory and Kyle ended up being the town's pariahs, too
embarrassed to ever show their faces around Naomi and Bruce again. This tiny vigilante squad had
actually helped solve a big problem for the adults!
They woke Ellory and Kyle up. When they saw those three guys, they immediately started begging and
swearing that they would never bother Naomi again. They pleaded with them to look after their own
kids and to stop causing trouble for them.
"I won't show up in front of you guys again, Bruce, Andre, Officer Chad, I beg you to protect us. If this
keeps going, my son and I won't be able to live." Ellory said.
What they had gone through in the past two days, only they knew. Those three kids from the Cedillo
family had really crossed the line. They were scared shitless and didn't dare cause any more trouble.
Andre squatted down, looking at the begging father and son, and said coldly, "From now on, the Mastin
family's villa is Naomi's property. I'm giving you 50 grand, and you're leaving Havenbrook for good."
Ellory and Kyle nodded their heads. Even without the money, they were ready to leave.
Andre glanced at Noah beside him, who immediately went to handle the paperwork. Chad added, "No
word of this gets out. If I find anyone unrelated knows about this, you know what I do for a living."
They all had people they wanted to protect, and their protection was a favoritism beyond the law.
"We'll do that. We won't let anyone know." Ellory and Kyle were clearly scared by Mia and the other two
kids.
Noah took them to go handle the paperwork. The two doctors also took their hush money and left.
Andre said to the other two adults, "Don't let these kids know that Ellory and Kyle left because they
were scared by them. I'm worried that Mia will take this as a glorious history and use violence to solve
similar situations in the future."
Chad said, "I have the same thoughts."
Bruce nodded, "Andre, Naomi and I don't want this house."
"This is the Mastin family's compensation to Naomi. It's forced, but it's better than nothing." Andre said.
And, he knew Naomi, she would definitely want this house. Because she wanted to leave something for
Leo.
Ellory and Kyle wanted to play tricks, they wouldn't sell the house but kept bothering Naomi for money.
Now, they couldn't sell the house even if they wanted to. Andre wouldn't agree to them selling the
house for money and then leaving.
The three of them huddled in the living room, making up a story to fool the three naïve but courageous
kids.
"The doctor confirmed that the three men you hit are in critical condition and need to be rushed to the
hospital. If they die, you may face two murder charges. Do you three understand the severity of this?"
Bruce, being older and a longtime public servant, was full of authority, so he was chosen to stop these
three kids' behavior.
Sure enough, the three kids were scared.
Chad added, "Life is paramount. If they die, none of us can help you escape the legal punishment."
Mia desperately looked at her husband. Andre said, "Although I'm rich, I can't compensate for the loss
of life with money."
Mia was scared out of her wits, thinking she had made an irreversible mistake, that even her husband
couldn't help.
The three kids obediently stood at the door and received their scolding. Finally, they went home with
their guardians.
After they left, Ellory and Kyle were quietly sent out of Havenbrook by Andre's people. And these three
in the dark, were scared stiff for a long time.
One day, Mia suddenly thought about something, "Wait, we didn't hit them hard. How could they be
critically ill?"
Molly frowned and said, "I just stabbed their fingers, I didn't hit any vital organs, and they didn't bleed
much. How could they be in critical condition due to excessive blood loss?"
Leo said, "I just tied them up. I didn't block their mouths."
The three of them finally realized they had been fooled by their family.
Mia was so angry that she and her husband slept in separate rooms. Molly was angry that she moved
back to the Cedillo family from the Byrne family.
However, the three adults had no regrets, because their scare tactics kept the kids off their backs for a
week. It was all worth it.
However, the next day, when they found out the truth. Andre had another mess to handle.
He was in a meeting when his wife called, her voice choked with tears.
He remembered her swearing last night, "Andre, if I ever talk to you again, I'll be a fool."
Now, the phone was ringing. If he didn't answer, he might be sleeping alone again tonight.
"Meeting adjourned." Andre said.
He walked out of the meeting room with his phone.
The people in the meeting room looked at each other in confusion. Was this the first time the boss had
paused a meeting to take a call?
When they asked Noah, he remembered the chaos at the Mastin family that day. He didn't know if this
time it was those three causing trouble again.
Andre walked outside to answer the call, and as soon as he put the phone to his ear, he heard his wife
sobbing. She was crying so hard that her words were choked, "Honey, come home."
Andre's heart tightened instantly. When he left home in the morning, Mia was still mad at him. It wasn't
even noon, and she was crying?
No one at home dared to bully her, and she couldn't be bullied outside. Why was she crying?
He gently asked, "Baby, don't cry, what happened?"
Mia was crying so hard that she coughed. She looked at the people passing by in front of her, her
words were choked and not connected. "I, I didn't mean to do it this time. I might be going to jail. Hurry
up, come and see me one last time."
Andre couldn't make out any useful information from her words. He told his wife not to fear, that he'd be
there in a jiffy, "Mia, where are you at right now?"
"The amusement park." Mia said.
Andre was speechless. Wasn't an amusement park for having fun? How did she manage to get herself
arrested there? He walked into the meeting room and told Noah, "You're steering this meeting, I gotta
leave for a bit. I need the meeting minutes on my desk by sundown." All content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
"Got it." Noah said.
Watching Andre's hurrying figure leaving, Noah felt more certain about his guess. No one could make
this big shot CEO so flustered, except his beloved Mia.
After getting in the car, Andre told his wife, "If a cop car shows up, don't follow it right away. I need to
get a lawyer on this."
Mia was still crying.
Andre comforted her, "Even if you've screwed up big time, I've got your back. I'll make sure you don't
have to worry about anything in the world, okay? No more crying, don't be scared."
Mia sobbed out an agreement.
After hanging up, Andre immediately started contacting a lawyer. The lawyer was completely in the
dark, as he had no clue what Mrs. Cedillo did. How was he supposed to prepare?
