Chapter 312
Chapter 312
Among the four, Mia happily hugged Andre and asked, "Honey, did you hear what Cooper called you?"
Andre couldn't hide his excitement and replied with a smile, "Yep!"
Aaron and Madison felt relieved when they heard the change in Cooper's address towards Andre.
After sending Cooper off, Andre suggested to Aaron and Madison as they were getting in the car, "You
guys should visit Cooper abroad when you have free time. When Mia's on vacation, I'll take her to see
Cooper too."
Aaron and Madison agreed, while Mia was calculating when her vacation would start. Since she wasn't
showing yet due to her early pregnancy and it didn't affect her daily life, she continued to attend classes
as usual.
One change, however, was that she used to prefer sitting at the edge. But now, with Andre sitting on
one side, she took the middle spot. Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.
University courses were quite flexible, allowing some students to take them in advance. Most students
followed the schedule set by the academic affairs office, while a few chose to take extra courses due to
various reasons.
Knowing about this policy and that she hadn't been in school for long, Mia worried that having a baby
might affect her studies, so she decided to take extra courses while she still had the energy and time.
The next day, Andre showed up at the school to help Mia arrange for the extra courses. He asked,
"Can you handle 5 extra courses?"
Mia replied, "Honey, do you know in-and-outs about all these courses I'm taking?"
"Yep." Andre said.
Andre looked at the schedule that was filled to the brim.
Mia had taken an additional 5 courses for the next semester, giving her a total of 12 classes this week.
This semester, she had a physical education class that she couldn't attend due to her pregnancy, so
she replaced it. She just needed to make up for this class before graduation.
Some major courses required two semesters, and except for those courses that couldn't be scheduled,
she had managed to plan out most of the elective courses.
In Mia's schedule, some classes were even taking place in the evening, which made Andre a bit
hesitant. But Mia insisted on doing this as she was the type to never procrastinate if she could get
things done ahead of time.
By the time they were seniors, their classmates would be off doing internships, while she had to stay
behind to catch up on classes.
She promised Andre that she could balance her studies and life.
Andre felt sorry for her.
Molly and Leo suddenly showed up in the office.
"I want to take the same courses as Mia." "Me too." They said.
They came without telling Mia and Andre. Luckily, Molly knew Mia well and took Leo to the teacher's
office, where they found them.
"How did you guys get here?" Mia was surprised.
Molly said, "You're really something, not even telling us that you're taking extra classes. You won't have
anyone to copy answers from during exams."
Leo added, "Without me, you probably wouldn't even know what the homework is."
Mia looked at them with gratitude, "You guys are the best."
Initially, she had thought about asking them to study with her but decided against it as she didn't want
to disrupt their plans because of her. However, they volunteered to accompany her.
"I am really good at choosing friends." Mia said.
Leo joked, "Does that mean you have poor judgment when it comes to choosing husbands?"
At that, Andre turned to the teacher in the office, "Change Leo and Molly's schedule to match Mia's.
Also. Add one more course to Leo's schedule this semester."
Leo hurriedly said, "Don't do that!"
But Andre ignored his protest.
Mia bit her lip and gave Leo a sympathetic look. She hoped that her child wouldn't turn out to be as silly
as Leo!
With the sudden increase in courses, they were dropped off at school in the morning and picked up in
the evening. Andre bought an apartment nearby where they could rest during lunchtime. A
housekeeper was there to prepare lunch for them.
Usually, Leo drove them to and from school, so they didn't have to walk much. Sometimes when the
weather was nice, Molly would accompany Mia for a walk. And in the evening, Andre would walk her
home. Sometimes, when Andre had time, he would visit Mia at school or the apartment.
Hansen had nothing to do at home. He often complained, "Mia being pregnant is no fun. She leaves in
the morning and comes back in the evening. She then sleeps in on weekends and doesn't keep me
company. I'm like a left-behind old man."
The housekeeper asked, "Do you know what being left behind means?"
"Are you questioning me?" Hansen asked.
The housekeeper dared not answer.
It had been a while since Molly returned home. The Byrne family were all missing her.
"We're missing Molly. She hasn't been home for a while." Mr. Kendrick said.
Chad happened to be home and said, "Mia's pregnant and Molly's been with her all the time. She told
me a while ago that she adjusted her schedule for next semester and it's packed."
"Mia's pregnant? That was fast. She's so young, Aaron and Madison must be worried." Coleen was
surprised.
Chad nodded, "Let's not gossip about other people's business. When a baby's coming, nothing can
stop it. Molly's been over the moon lately, asking me to look at baby toys and clothes with her every
night."
Mr. Kendrick asked, "Why did she fill up her schedule?"
"To accompany Mia in class." After answering, Chad added, "It's good that her schedule is full. At least
she won't get into trouble. Studying is always better than causing trouble."
Mr. Kendrick agreed, "You have a point."
Just as they were talking, Chad's phone rang. He glanced at it and said, "We were just talking about
Molly, and here she is calling."
He answered the video call and pointed his phone at the Byrnes. Molly's face appeared on the screen
immediately.
"Dad, Mom, you're all home." Molly said.
Coleen asked with a smile, "Molly, why haven't you been home lately?"
"I was just about to discuss this with Chad. I plan to have Chad pick me up after school this Friday. So,
you don't have to miss me too much. You'll see me on Friday." Molly said.
Coleen saw the sweater Molly was wearing, advising her, "The weather's starting to warm up, but don't
rush to strip down just yet. You gotta bundle up in spring and avoid the cold in fall. You should keep
your coat on. I don't want you to catch a cold. Mia's always around you, better not pass it on to her."
Molly glanced at her friend and replied, "Alright, got it. My coat's in the classroom, and I'll put it on when
I go back in. Where's dad?"
The phone was handed over to Mr. Kendrick, who joked, "Molly, have you started forgetting about your
old man already?"
"I miss you a lot, and I've been thinking about you all the time. I'm coming home to see you on Friday."
Molly said, her smile blooming like a flower in front of the camera, "You guys just wait for me at home."
They chatted for a while before hanging up.
Coleen initially wanted to give Molly some tips on taking care of pregnant women, but she then figured
the Cedillo family must've already got everything sorted out.
"So, how are things between Mia and Andre?" Coleen asked casually.
