Chapter 651 Weakling

Chapter 651 Weakling

Tom bent down and grabbed Blake by the neck with one hand while forming a fist with the other. Then,

he glared at Blake and snarled, "You guys were the ones who hit them! How dare you try to threaten

them instead? I'm going to teach you a lesson you'll never forget!"

In an attempt to scare Tom, Blake cried out, "I'm Blake Jessop, a scion here in Churron! If you even lift

a finger against me, I'll make your life a living hell!"

"A scion, huh? That means nothing to me!" Tom retorted before throwing a punch.

There was a muffled crack as Blake's nose got smashed.

Blake screamed in agony as blood poured out of his nose. Tom hadn't held back at all.

"How dare you punch me? I'm going to fucking kill you! My dad's Fergus Jessop, the real estate tycoon Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

in Churron, and my maternal grandfather's Jerry Andrews, the King of Diatoran's trusted subject!"

Blake declared.

He was sure everyone who heard who he was would be terrified. After all, Jerry was an extremely

powerful figure.

Unfortunately for him, Tom didn't care much about the political scene in Dhord City and barely knew

anything about Balthazar.

"I despise people like you who abuse what power you have the most! I don't care who you are! I'm

going to teach you a lesson today!" Tom growled before punching Blake a few more times.

Once again, Blake howled as the blows left him feeling like the world was spinning around him.

Meanwhile, the sudden turn of events shocked Cecilia greatly, and even Miranda was stunned.

When Blake's buddies heard his anguished cries, they felt terrified.

They opened their eyes ever so slightly and took a peek at Blake, only to find that his face was covered

in blood. He was an absolute mess.

Thus, the two men continued to play dead. Neither one of them had the guts to try and save Blake.

They had seen what Tom could do, and they didn't want to be on the receiving end of that.

It didn't matter to them whether Blake survived Tom's beatings.

As for Blake, he could barely think straight. He never thought he'd ever run into someone who had

dared to attack him despite hearing that Jerry was an important political figure.

"Stop! Have mercy! I made a mistake. I admit I was wrong. Please let me off the hook!" Blake begged.

He didn't want to continue suffering in this manner anymore, and he knew that Tom would give him a

thorough thrashing if he didn't admit his fault in the situation.

"What a coward you are! I would've had some respect for you if you held on. I didn't think you'd start

begging for mercy after just a few punches! But the more you beg, the more I want to beat you up!"

Tom snarled.

Smirking, he punched Blake a few more times.

Blake ended up spitting out a mouthful of blood. He felt as if every bone in his body had been broken.

Tom's punches felt like boulders crashing heavily onto him.

Just as Tom was getting into it, Miranda called out, "Tom, stop! You're going to kill him!"

She sensed something was off when all the color drained out of Blake's face.

Tom paused. He wanted to give Blake a good beating, but the latter could barely survive a few

punches.

If Tom continued, he could very well end up becoming a killer.

"I'll let you off just this once, but I'll crush you if I ever see you attempting this stunt of yours again!" Tom

threatened.

Then, he straightened up and walked back to Miranda.

"Do you think he's dead, Tom?" Miranda asked fearfully.

"No. He just fainted from the blow," Tom simply said.

In reality, he wasn't sure either. Blake couldn't be such a weakling, right?

"Look at him! He's covered in blood. We'd be in big trouble if he's dead!" Miranda said helplessly.

"I didn't even punch him that hard. How was I supposed to know that he's such a weak loser?" Tom

said.

"Well, you're in trouble now, Tom. I think you've just crippled a scion!" Miranda exclaimed in a panic.

Tom also began to realize the severity of the situation, but he didn't know how to resolve it.

At that moment, Sherry regained consciousness.

"Mom, you're awake! I'm so glad!" Cecilia exclaimed joyfully.

"Madam Lynch!"

Tom and Miranda were also glad to see that Sherry was awake.

"Tom? Miranda? Why are you here?" Sherry asked the moment she saw them.

"When it started raining heavily, we decided to bring some umbrellas for you two. We didn't think you'd

run into something like this," Tom explained.

"Where are those men from before? Where have they gone?" Sherry asked when she saw no sign of

Blake.

Tom and Miranda exchanged glances. They didn't know how to explain what happened because they

knew Sherry would be terrified if she found out.

"Tom beat up the bad guys!" Cecilia said.

Sherry couldn't believe what she heard, but when she sat up, she saw three men lying on the ground.

Blake's condition was the worst. He lay motionless on the ground as the rain and his blood pooled

around him.

Gasping in fear, Sherry exclaimed, "Why aren't they moving? Are they dead?"

"Don't worry. They're just pretending. I didn't hit them that hard," Tom assured with faked indifference.

Alas, he was nervous, too. He couldn't be certain that Blake was still alive.

"They look very beaten up. We're in trouble now. It looked like they were driving an extremely

expensive car. They have to be one of the rich and powerful. I don't think they'll let us get away with

this," Sherry said in concern.

"They beat you up, too! I was just getting even on your behalf," Tom said.

"But they're powerful people that we can't afford to offend! What are we supposed to do if they come for

revenge?" Sherry asked.

"Don't worry about that, Madam Lynch. I think we should take you to the nearest hospital first," Tom

suggested.

"I'm fine. It's just a few bruises. We need to hurry up and think of a way."

Sherry didn't want to go to the hospital. That would cost money, and she didn't have much savings left.

Also, she was worried that if Blake died, Tom would go to prison for killing him.

"You're injured all over, Madam Lynch. You need to go to the hospital right away. Don't worry about the

medical bill," Tom urged.

"I'm fine, really. I don't need to go to the hospital. Just focus on how we can deal with this situation,"

Sherry said.

"You've got nothing to worry about, Madam Lynch. I'll deal with this," Tom assured.

"Let's hurry up and leave. No one else has seen you guys. You and Miranda should leave Churron,"

Sherry said.

Shaking his head, Tom argued, "We can't leave. What if they come after you? Let's all go home and

discuss everything else later."
