I have not seen my baby all f*****g morning; she had English with Ace, and history with Ash and I get nothing. I f*****g miss her.

I scent her coming towards the cafeteria and make a split second plan. As she rounds the corner, I grab her and pull her into a supply cupboard.

I hear a deafening roar from beside me as Ace runs at the group. He barrels through them and rips Mason off of Star, throwing him to me. His friends all scatter, but Ash blocks their exit.

Glancing at Ace, he gives me a nod to let me know she is ok, so drag the piece of s**t out of the library. I nod to the poor librarian, who bows her head at me.

I pass Kurtis, Jonah and our warriors on the way out, “bring them all outside to the football pitch. It’s time to teach these fuckers what happens when they touch what’s mine.”
