One-Hundred Fifty-Four: Inside the Pack

Darrius

My guys that are inside the pack have been there for a couple of weeks now. So far, they haven’t really

been able to tell me much. It seems like they haven't been doing much else right now, with having to

get all the new members and land settled. I am sure with him acquiring my pack, Dustin has been busy.

Good, that means the ranked members and higher-ups aren’t paying attention as much. However, they

still have to be wary of the girls and those great beasts.

“Have they seen anyone?” Asmoday asks.

“They still have not seen the unicorns, but the Luna is out and about often with the kids,” I tell him.

“I wonder if they have moved the unicorns to a different realm that no one can get to,” Asmoday says.

“That is a possibility. They did move the bears from cells to a house they modified and turned into a

jail.” I explain.

“That is interesting. I am surprised the girls kept them alive.” Thomas says.

“Makes me wonder why they would keep them alive,” I add.

That is weird. I figured they would either kill them or strip them of their bears. They have to have

something planned for them. Those bastards better not turn on us and side with the girls.

“How much do those three know?” I ask.

“Not that much. They have no idea about most of the islands or where they are located. They basically

know the very basic stuff. They did help catch a few creatures for me.” He explains.

That is good to know that they are, for the most part, clueless. So even if they are questioned, which I

am sure they have been, they can’t tell them much. I know the bears know about two of the islands, but

they are low-level islands. Those two islands don’t hold any important creatures. In fact, one has no

creatures on it right now. It is the island where any new creature that is captured goes to then they are

immediately transferred to one of the other islands depending on how rare they are. I don’t think they

have moved either of the unicorns. I just wonder if no one really knows that they are there. I have no

idea what either of them looks like in their human forms, so I can’t show my guys on the inside who to

look for.

“We need to get pictures of the unicorns in their human forms,” I say.

“I can almost guarantee that no one realizes that there are unicorns because they don’t shift that often.

I bet when they do that it is somewhere that no one is able to see them shift.” I add.

“That could be the problem. I am not sure how to go about getting pictures of who we think the unicorns

might be.” Asmoday says.

“What about the two that the bears were using?” Thomas asks.

“I don’t know how to get a hold of them,” Asmoday says.

The bears were the only ones who knew those guys. I wonder if my guys could sneak some pictures of

some of the shifters we suspect to be unicorns?

“Let me talk to my guys. Maybe they can sneak pictures of anyone they suspect being unicorns.” I tell

them.

“Sounds like a plan,” Asmoday says.

I won’t be talking to them again for a week. That gives me time to search through the pictures that we

already have and pick certain people for them to investigate more. They have to be extremely careful.

They are going to have to use their cell phones and act like they are taking selfies. That is the only way

this will go unnoticed. If they get caught, they are as good as dead. I head back to my room. I got a call

from my aunt the other day. She is part of another pack. She is very disappointed in me and says I

need to come back and deal with my punishment. There is no way I am going back. That should never

have happened. I know that none of my pack had access to all the information that the council

received. That means someone snuck onto our territory and took copies of it. Since no one could find a

scent that lowers the number of people, it could be. I have no doubt that it was one of the girls. Since

my guards never picked up a scent. I will get my pack back after all this shit is done. Asmoday said he

would help. When I get it back, I will also take Silver Moon.

The only problem with the location of the island is that there are hundreds of islands in the

Mediterranean Ocean. While I am glad we at least have an area to search, it still doesn’t help that

much. The fact that it is in our homeland is irritating. I have let Uncle Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades know

what we found out. They have not heard of anyone purchasing an island lately. That makes me think

that Asmoday has had ownership of these islands for a long time.

“I have searched and there is no record showing that he owns any property anywhere,” Tarlek says.

“Maybe he doesn’t own it.” Seth points out.

“But who would he put it under?” I ask.

Well, that is an interesting question. Who indeed. I am going to have to look into this. We need to get a Content (C) Nôv/elDra/ma.Org.

few people on the ground there to see what information can be found. Now to decide who to send.

“How about asking Demeter for help?” Dustin asks.

“I was just thinking that,” I admit.

That is his homeland, and he knows every inch of it by heart. He can send out some trackers and

others to see if they have heard anything. I know he will have no problem helping. I just don’t want to

drag him and his pack into this cluster fuck. This is just one more thing to set my sisters off if things go

bad. I am so close to telling them to go and finish this shit. I am losing my patients quickly.

“I just feel bad mixing him up in all this shit,” I say.

“Yeah I know, but I know he will have no problem helping,” Dustin replies.

“Hell, I hate that we dragged you into this shit,” I tell him.

“Well, it just kinda evolved from what it started out as,” Kaleb says.

That is true. This should have been something simple but it has turned into a fucking nightmare. I am

going to need a long vacation after all this shit is done.
