The Biker’s Mafia Princess (Angel and Savage)

Chapter 35.

Angel POV.

It has been a month since we lifted the lockdown. Everyone was nervous but excited to be able to leave. We have to make it known that we believe the threat is gone, considering Crusher is now dead. That will only infuriate the rest of his damn crew. I'm checking my gun as I plan on going out today to get back to normal. But I'm not stupid. I know danger will be lurking in the murky depths. So I have to keep my wits about me when outside.

"Where are you going?" Ryder asks from behind me and I smile as I turn to look at him at the same time I put my gun down.

"To the store. Then I'm thinking of doing some clothe shopping and maybe look at teeny-tiny baby clothes. Wanna come with?" I say to him as I wrap my arms around the back of his neck and move up to my tiptoes and kiss him.

"As if I'd let you go on your damn own. So yes, I'm coming with you, but first we have an appointment. Doc managed to get us an appointment at the hospital to check on peanut." Peanut? I roll my eyes into the back of my head and swat his chest playfully, and he chuckles.

"Peanut? So original. Ok, what time is the appointment?" I ask him and he smiles at me as he bands his arms around my lower back, pulling me closer to him.

"In an hour, so we need to get going. Rebel is going to have a playdate with my parents and yours." My stomach flips, thinking of Rebel being without us, even if it is only for a few hours. I know in my logical brain they won't let anything happen to her, but the mommy bear in me wants her child with her everywhere I go. Always in line of sight and in reach.

"Hey, stop that. She will be safe and you know it. Come on, we will drop her off on the way." He says, kissing me gently and I sigh, knowing I'm being too overprotective. I finish getting ready as I slip on my jeans and pink vest top. Slipping on my converse. My long blonde hair is pulled up in a messy bun on top of my head.

I leave the bedroom, checking my gun once more, checking I have one bullet in the chamber. I walk with my boy in front of me. Which is normal for us. He is usually around Rebel, but he has become more protective of me and I know it is because he can sense I am pregnant.

We enter the main room and I smile at the club girls who are busy cleaning and some are stocking the bar. Rebel is also helping to wipe the tables down. Coral is with her, helping her. I walk over and kiss them both on their cheeks and rub Coral's bump. "I'm sorry to pull away your little helper, but Rebel is going to see her grandparents now." I say and Rebel squeals hugs Coral before she hugs the other club girls and they all smile down at her as she runs to me but stops looking at my stomach. "What's wrong, princess?" I ask her and she looks at me, confused.

"I don't want to hurt her." She says, pointing at my stomach, and I chuckle at her as I scoop her up and kiss her all over her little face.

"You won't hurt her, she will be ok. So I take it you want to have a baby sister?" I ask her and she nods her head and I tilt my head to the side.

"Don't you want a brother?" I ask her and she makes a face like I've just insulted her.

"No, too many boys." She says, and I chuckle as the other women laugh, shaking their heads at her antics.

"Can't argue with that now, can I? I'm sure whatever the baby is, you will love them unconditionally." She looks at me frowning, oh shoot big word, ok. "I mean you would love them lots and lots." I say and she narrows her eyes at me and I become nervous. Hell, we are only going to confirm and see how far along I am.

"She will be a girl, I know this," she says, pouting and I shake my head with a sigh as I kiss her and place her on her feet.

"Ok missy, whatever you say. Now come on, we need to find daddy and go to nana and pop-pops. Nonna and nonno will also be there. So you will have lots of fun." I say to her and she smiles really big her little white teeth on full display. If I didn't know my little girl, that smile means trouble.

"Uncy Nate and Nico too?" I nod my head and she smirks. Oh, hell no. She is going to be sooo much trouble the older she gets. I can see it now.

"Bye girls, Coral, make sure you aren't doing too much OK," I say to her and she waves me off.

"Seriously Angel, I'm pregnant, not dying." She says when I hear a growl and Blaze moves to grab her and I chuckle.

"Yeah, keep telling yourself that." He says to her as he scoops her up and she glares hard at him as I laugh out loud and he turns that glare at me and I stop.

"Just you wait until you are showing and then I will laugh at you. Bikers are so god damn possessive." She says, pointing at me, and I shrug. Can't be any worse than what my daddy was like with my momma when she was pregnant with Nico. It will be fine. Then again, all alpha males are the same. Momma wasn't allowed to lift a finger. Daddy was at her beck and call. Hell, he carried her everywhere. It caused arguments with them, especially when he caught her in the kitchen at midnight indulging in ice cream.

It wasn't the ice cream. It was that

momma went downstairs without him and, according to him, anything could have happened to her. I'm surprised she didn't pull her gun on him for being overprotective. Momma was always independent, and she hated being coddled. So in the end he backed off, but not by much. I can totally deal with Ryder if

he starts.

"You both ready?" Speaking of Ryder and he shall appear. I smile at him and nod my head. I take Rebel's hand and we begin to walk away as I can hear Blaze laughing and Coral whines to be put down. I ignore them as we leave the clubhouse and head towards my SUV.Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

Before I can help Rebel into her car

seat. Ryder has already scooped her up in his arms and has buckled her in. He takes my hand and helps me into the SUV. He even buckles me up, kissing me on the cheek before he closes the door and climbs in the driver's seat. I look at him and he shrugs. So it starts, then. Great! Note the sarcasm.

He drives so damn slowly and I roll my eyes as he grips the steering wheel tensely. Like the slightest knock is going to cause us to crash.

"Ryder, put your foot down. We're going to be late." I say to him and he grits his teeth and I sigh as I turn the stereo on and turn the music up. I smile as I listen to the music. Metallica- For Whom The Bell Tolls.

Rebel laughs, and I look at her. We are both are shuffling in our seats. Ryder looks at me from the side as we are parked at the lights. I smile at him as I nod my head to the music. He chuckles at me.

When the singer starts singing, we are both singing and I smile at him. We used to do this all the time. He was the one who got me into Metallica. As we pull away again, look at him, but he is focused on the road ahead. I sit forward as see an SUV coming at speed from the side. I turn my head and see another

coming from the other side.

I keep listening to the music. I turn and look at Rebel. Ok, what do I do?

"Ryder, step on it." I say to him as calmly as I can. He looks at me and his eyes widen and I nod my head once. Just as he pushes the car to accelerate. We are hit from behind, causing the SUV to turn to the side. Rebel screams and I grab my gun, not thinking. We skid to a stop as gun fire rings out. You have got to be fucking kidding me? I look at Ryder and he grabs his gun.

"Climb over and drive to my parent's house. I love you both." He says as he opens the door and climbs out. He fires and I grab my phone and call my daddy.

"Princess, what's wrong?"

"Daddy, they followed us and nearly ran us off the road. Get here NOW! Use the tracker on the SUV! Come quickly!" I shout as the back window is blown out. I drive away, looking back as I see Ryder firing at the men. Rebel is screaming and crying. I can't calm her down, too focused on getting us to safety. What I didn't see was a van as it takes me out from the side. I scream as the SUV flips. Everything goes black as I start to lose consciousness. But not before I hear glass crunching and I see a pair of red high heels.

"Take the little bitch. She is far more valuable."

"Foxy." I say and she squats down, and she looks like shit. Bruises mar her pale skin. Red lines on her face and down her exposed arms. She smirks at me.

"Your family killed my daddy. I will return the favour. Give my love to the Devil." She says when I can smell gasoline. I struggle when I hear more sounds than she takes off, shouting her orders. I see Rebel laying lifeless in someone's arms.

"REBEL!" I scream as I try to wiggle free. Pain shoots through me as I try to reach for my gun, but I can't reach it. "REBEL!" I scream again, feeling blood trickle down my face and a stabbing pain begins in my lower stomach. I watch the van drive off. I sob, crying. No, no, no, no, no! "REBEL!" I scream again as black dots dance in my vison and I'm out cold.
