Talented Wife 73
Alina understood that the grievances between her and Johnny were deeply personal. Despite their differences, she recognized that transferring that animosity onto the innocent children involved was unfair. They were, after all, Johnny and Barbara's children, and Alina couldn't let her own feelings cloud her judgment when it came to the well-being of the kids.
Moreover, Danny wouldn't want her to dislike his friends. All in all, they were probably the first and second friends he made
in Enkmelo.
Alina opened her mouth and said, "Little guy, I..."
"I know, Mommy!" Drake interjected, cutting off Alina's sentence before it could be completed.
He didn't dare to listen further. He was afraid that Mommy might ask him to stay away from Drake and Laura.
"Mommy, let's go catch some dolls." Drake mustered a smile and quickly redirected the conversation, suggesting they try their luck at the claw machine.
The pair made their way to the claw machine, filled with enchanting dolls that caught Drake's eye.
After inserting some coins, Drake started trying to grab a cute little bear, but he couldn't get it no matter what.
Alina, seeing this, walked over and held Drake's small hand.
"I will catch it with you," Alina said, her voice filled with warmth and encouragement.
Alina's hand was warm and comforting. Drake nodded eagerly. "Okay."
With Alina's help, they easily caught the little bear in one go.
Excitedly, Drake took the bear out and said, "Look, Mommy, I caught it!"
"Hmm, do you like it?" Alina smiled warmly at her son's accomplishment.
Drake's response came with unfiltered enthusiasm, "Yes!" He hugged the bear tightly, knowing that this little toy held a special meaning to him. It symbolized the shared victory he had experienced with Alina. Drake clung to the bear, leaving the arcade, unwilling to let it go as if holding onto a precious treasure.
Alina took Drake to buy some clothes. Drake led Alina into a specialty store, saying, "Mommy, I like the clothes from this brand."
Alina glanced and realized it was the brand from her studio.
Alina asked her son to pick out what he liked, but Drake said, "Mommy, you choose for me."
Alina frowned deeply. These days, he lets her decide what to eat and where to go, and now he even asks her to decide what
to wear.
Could her son be turning into a mama's boy?
"Baby, how would I know your preferences? Choose what you like."
"Can I really choose what Hike?" Drake asked cautiously.
This was not allowed at Johnny's. He wore clothes selected by the butler at home.
Johnny said he needed to grow up, so Drake was always in a little suit prepared for him when going out.
"Of course." Alina, in this regard, followed the child's preferences unconditionally.
As long as it wasn't excessive, it was fine.
While Drake was earnestly selecting, his smartwatch beeped with a message from Danny.
"Drake, I'm in the restroom on the south side of the first floor of the mall, the last stall. Come quickly!"
Drake replied, "Okay."
He knew it was time to change back to Drake.

He had read a fairy tale called Cinderella before. He felt like Cinderella now. When the time came, he would lose what didn't belong to him and return to his world to continue his life.
There seemed to be a conflict between Alina and Johnny. Mommy disliked him and his sister. So, he couldn't tell Alina that he was her son.
"Mommy, I need to go to the restroom. I'll be right back!" Drake said, holding the little bear tightly, his eyes slightly red.
He didn't know when he could return to Alina's side next time.
Watching Drake's back, Alina felt a thorn in her heart, which made her very uncomfortable.
