Arya’s hands crossed beneath her bossom, in as much as she disliked the lady glaring daggers at her, she still wanted to know how she got separated from them in the first place..

“I don’t like you either Charlotte.. but I still deserve to know what really happened.. I’m very sure that mum and dad wouldn’t abandon you or else something went wrong”

Charlotte narrowed her eyes at Arya who had a blank expression on her face, no other person was to be blamed for all her misfortune if not for Arya!..

Bryan caught Chloe’s hand that was about to hit him across his face, he raised it and pinned it on the wall above her head..

“Let go Bryan!”

“Stay still.. you’re making this hard for me” He whispered softly next to her ear..”I don’t like seeing you with him.. I hate it whenever he stares at you or even talk to you”

Chloe pulled her hand out of his grip “And how is any of these your concern?! have you no shame kissing someone else on your engagement day?! it’s funny how a Playboy like yourself is about to settle down with one woman”

“It’s you I want Chloe.. I don’t want any guy flocking around you.. the only woman I want by my side is you and no one else”

A cold chill ran down her spine, she was speechless and all she could do was to stare at him, his eyes held sincerity in them..

Bryan’s hands turned into fist as she walked away from his side without turning back for once, he raked his hand through his hair feeling confused…

The official engagement commenced, the two souls who were about to be bonded by a ring stood on the podium facing each other..

At the other end, Bryan almost crushed the small velvet box he was holding in his hand, his mood turned sour seeing her smile so much..

He pulled his gaze off her and settled them on Lora who was smiling from ear to ear with her finger outstretched to him..

He took out the ring and brought it close to her finger..

The tune was replaced with a voice recording of a lady..

Bryan’s brows drew together in confusion, he recognized the voice of the person talking, his gaze settled on Lora who had a look of horror on her face..

Kyle faced the door when he heard it open, his lips pulled up into a grin..

“You sent for me”

He gave a nod rising up to his feet, he walked in slow steps towards her and stopped just a few inch away from her..

“I was going through my stuffs when I found this”

He raised two photos and handed it over to her which she accepted..

These were the photos taken when they had visited the amusement park before Kyle’s memory loss..

Arya stared blankly at the photos, she recalled the day Mia had given her this to keep as their family photo..

“Yeah? what happened?”

Kyle snatched one of the photos where he had his hands around her waist to stop her from falling down..

“There’s something else”

He walked back to the table and appeared with a brown colored file..

Arya stared at it curiously, she also wanted to know what it entailed..

“I figured out that we had a contract marriage, just for the sake of Ray”

“Yeah.. we had a contract marriage from the start but one thing led to another and we were about to get married officially but something happened”

Kyle placed a finger under her chin raising her head up a bit, a smirk graced his lips while his eyes bore into hers..

“But then.. we never crossed the boundaries in our relationship.. so I wanted to know.. what made you give me your first time last night? has something changed? or perhaps you want it to?”

Arya’s heart pounded, she pulled her gaze off him turning red by his question, now it was clear that he has really lost his mind..

Did he seriously call her here to let her die of embarrassment?

“You seem to know some things… then why are you still keeping her here?”

Kyle reached out to her arm and turned her back against him, he leaned next to her ear and whispered..

“It’s quite unfortunate that I haven’t recalled the past.. I still need her around.. but most especially you”

The door pushed open and almost immediately Arya stumbled forward after she was pushed by Kyle..

Kyle rested his gaze on Charlotte who had a look of surprise seeing them together..

“There you are.. come in..” he urged.

Charlotte stepped forward but deep down she felt something was wrong, was it Kyle’s sweetness to her? or Arya’s annoyed expression? it seemed like she had just disrupted something going on between them..

But regardless, she had to be careful around the two until Dennis gives his last instruction..

She flashed a smile at him also and took his hand that was stretched before her..

“Is everything alright?”

Kyle gave a nod to her, he turned back to Arya who was glaring daggers at him..

“You may leave now.. like I said before.. I’m not hungry”

Arya rolled her eyes and left the room for them, she closed the door a little harder than necessary, sometimes she failed to understand what was going through his mind..

She caught up with Ray who was playing around with a remote control in his hand..

“Ray what are you doing?”

He turned to her with a widened gaze “Move away”

A swooshing object flew past her head which startled her for a second..

“Ray.. haven’t I told you about using your drones in the building? you could break something”

“Daddy will get a new one..” he said with a shrug of his shoulders..

Lora’s lips quivered, she knew she was done for! everyone heard the voice recording.. but who would dare play this trick on her?

The only person who was with her in the restroom was Vanessa.. and there was no way Vanessa would have done this to her..

“So I’ve been a fool to you all along?!”

She jolted out in fright from Bryan’s thunderous voice, this wasn’t meant to happen at least not today..

“I swear.. this isn’t true! someone is trying to ruin our day”

Bryan moved back away from her with a devilish grin on his lips..

“It’s over!!.. everything is over!”

He stared back to Chloe’s direction but surprisingly, she wasn’t there anymore, he turned away from her and walked out of the hall in large strides ignoring the media who were running after him with different questions flying..

Lora’s feet gave way as she fell down to her knees sobbing gently, what she was most afraid of has happened tonight..

She saw a pair of female’s boot standing in front of her, she slowly raised her head up only to receive a tight slap from the lady before her..
