Arya stood up to her feet in anger glaring at Kyle who all smiles, his smile soon fell as soon as a slap graced his face..

“Arya-

Kyle stretched his hand to her only for her to back away..

“It’s a good thing you’ve recalled your lost memories.. but sadly I’m still mad at you for what you did back there at our wedding!”

Kyle took a sharp intake of breath, he knew he messed up big time by leaving her on the alter all alone..

“I’m deeply sorry Arya.. I didn’t mean to”

He attempted to take a step out of the bed only to receive a sharp pain in his head, he groaned out relaxing back on the bed..

Arya rushed next to his side when he groaned out in pain..

“Are you alright?”

Kyle smirked “Just make up your mind Arya.. do you want to stay mad at me? or do you want to mend things up with me?”

Charlotte placed a palm over her mouth to stop herself from screaming out, everything was over! Her chances with Kyle were all over..

“Vanessa!.. thank goodness you answered.. Kyle knows everything now.”

Vanessa rolled her eyes at the other end, so what has this gotten to do with her? She was still trying to pacify Lora who was currently facing a huge backlash after last night’s incident..

Her family weren’t spared either, they were almost at the verge of going bankrupt..

She stroked Lora’s hair gently, the latter had been crying nonstop and fell asleep on her laps just a while ago..

“Look Charlotte.. I’m currently busy.. there’s nothing left for you to do than to flee just like you did the last time..”

Charlotte parked her car by the roadside to concentrate fully on the conversation she was having with Vanessa..

“Flee? while Arya takes my place in Kyle and Ray’s life?! I won’t let that happen!” She gritted in annoyance..

“That’s the spirit girly.. you know what to do” Vanessa murmured with a sly grin, she placed her phone next to her after disconnecting the call…

“Great! She’s mad.. and I don’t even have to do anything.. Charlotte has completed all my work.. Kyle and Arya won’t last for much longer..” She chuckled at the thought..

All she had to do was to sit, watch and enjoy the show like always..

Meanwhile..

Charlotte typed on her phone hurriedly and placed it against her ear..

“Sharon.. I need you to do something for me… it’s urgent!”

Mia took a glance back at her mum who was patiently waiting for Arya to come out of the ward, she faced Chad once more with a small smile..

“My brother was acting a little bit weird in there.. did you find out if anything was wrong?”

“He’s good to go.. it wasn’t much of a big issue.. he can leave whenever he wants”

Mia sighed in relief, she clutched her purse tightly ready to leave..

“I’ll go settle the bills-

Chad held back her arm when she turned around to leave..

“Forget it.. Kyle is my friend and.. even though he hates me now.. I still consider him as family.. well except you I guess”

Mia opened her mouth to speak but he walked past her, he didn’t consider her as family? so what does she mean to him then?

Arya stepped out of the ward and suddenly engulfed Elizabeth into a warm embrace..

“Mrs Anderson.. Kyle remembers me..”

Mia’s eyes grew large, she walked back to Arya and her mum who were now squeaking in excitement..

Arya gave a nod for the older lady to bolt into the ward..

Arya’s phone rang out cutting Mia’s speech off, she raised the phone to her ear with a smile on her face, however, the smile died down the next second..

Ray cried out as he was fully stuffed into the car, soon after Charlotte joined him and the car sped off..

“Let me go! I don’t want to go anywhere with you!” He screamed out kicking and pounding Sharon who was holding him back..

Charlotte raised a hand to her temples, the kid’s scream was too much for his age.. she snapped her head to the backseat with a frown..

“Come on Ray.. do you have to be this loud?”

Ray sobbed even more “Take me back to Arya!”

Charlotte sighed, she held his chin gently “Baby.. don’t worry about Arya.. you have your mum here with you now, I’ll take you very far away from here okay?”

Ray shook his head in protest his cries only got worse which left Charlotte with no other choice..

“Make him keep shut!..” She ordered and faced ahead..

Few seconds later, Silence returned back to the car as Ray fell unconscious in the arms of Sharon holding unto him..

She took a glance back at the driver “How much further before we reach the airport?”

“Twenty more minutes ma’am” he replied..

“Block all roads leading to the airports and seaports, and delay flights leaving out of the country! send the news to the media about my son’s kidnap!”

Arya met Kyle’s pace as they both strode out of the hospital in a hurry, they got into the car waiting for them..

Kyle dismissed the driver and took the driver’s seat “I’ll drive.. arrange for another car to take my mum and sister back home safely!” He ordered..

“yes boss”

Arya fastened her seatbelt, she was panicking but tried to act brave in front of Kyle.. Ray just went missing alongside Charlotte..

It was obvious that she took Ray along with her because she had no other choice left..

“We’ll find him.. don’t panic too much”

In less than twenty minutes…

All news channel were talking about Ray’s sudden disappearance except this time it was kidnap, most of the roads leading to the city were all blocked which caused a heavy traffic on the way…

Kyle’s phone rang out, he picked it up with one of his hand wrapped in a white bandage while the other was on the steering..

“Boss.. we just spotted one of your cars heading out of the city.. we are currently on their tails..” The guard at the other end relayed..

“Good! send me your location!”

Arya turned to him in anticipation, has Ray been found yet?

“Hang on.. I’ve gotten Charlotte’s location.. Ray must be with her”

Meanwhile…

Charlotte frowned staring at the rearview mirror, she noticed that a black car has been following behind their car for a while now..

“Take the next turn” She ordered in other to confirm her suspicion..

The driver took a swerve to the left just as instructed for the car behind them to follow behind also..

“Shit! we’re being followed!.. I shouldn’t have taken Kyle’s car! darn it!” She cursed out..

“Ray ran away from home again? I can’t believe this kid”

“Sirens, choppers flying above our head can only mean that he was kidnapped you moron!” She barked out at him..

She got that Ray loved running away from his dad back when he hadn’t met Arya, but this time it was different..

“I’ll go find Arya.. she might need my help”
