Kyle stared down at Naomi who was clinging on to him like her life depended on him, for some reasons her body warmth caused his heart to beat in a weird rhythm..

Charlotte gnashed her teeth in nager, she took a step forward to them and tried to pull Arya off only to be held back by Kyle..

“Stop this madness Charlotte!”

Charlotte was taken aback by the harsh and cold tone he used on her..

“Kyle.. you’re yelling at me for her sake?”

Arya pulled away from him wiping her tears with the back of her palm..

“This is unlike you Charlotte! you’ve been behaving strange lately which is alarming”

Charlotte gulped down the huge bile rising in her throat, she couldn’t afford to be on Kyle’s radar, she gave a small nod and left the living room closely followed by Vanessa..

Arya smiled as soon as they were gone, this was only the tip of the iceberg, they’ve troubled her a lot and now she was going to pay them back..

“Are you alright?”

She gave a nod and took a step forward with a limp..

“Wait! are you hurt?”

“Yeah I guess so” She murmured and slowly started moving away..

Arya took a long glance at the stairs and sighed, she could still feel Kyle’s gaze on her, if she continued moving at this rate, eternity might meet her here..

It’s not like she was hurt or anything, she just wanted to add a little more spice into Charlotte’s fake love life..

And it seemed to work pretty well on Kyle because in the next minute, he walked to her and swept her off her feet..

Arya gasped, she raised her head to him in surprise as he carried her in bridal style up the stairs..

“If you keep on staring at me that way, I’ll drop you down the stairs”

Kyle turned a deaf ear to Arya’s little protest as he entered her room, he walked to the bed and carefully dropped her like she was a priceless artifact..

“Get some rest before Ray gets back from school”

Arya nodded with a small smile, even Kyle thought he was doing this just for the sake of empathy, she knew that this was his subconscious mind at work..

“I hope you recover quickly, sometimes things you see around you are not real”

Kyle squinted his eyes at her wondering where she was driving at..

“What do you mean by that?”

“I meant to say thank you for your help boss, I’m really grateful”

Kyle stared at her skeptically, he wondered what he found strange and at the same time familiar about this lady..

“Did we know each other before my accident?”

Arya tilted her head to the side with a smile “What do you think?”

Charlotte was dumbfounded when she spotted Kyle coming out of Naomi’s room, she approached him only for him to walk past her like she was never there to begin with..

“Kyle, are you still upset with me? I really didn’t hit her, she was the one who hit me. Vanessa was there alright you can ask her!”

Kyle ignored her tantrums, he closed the door behind him and huffed out loudly, he felt like he has had enough rest and would like to resume work once more..

But sadly, he can’t do that because he couldn’t remember the project he started before his memory loss”

Later that night..

Kyle looked up from his laptop the moment Charlotte stretched a glass of water to him..

“Kyle.. I’m sorry okay? I know I behaved irrational and I accept it, but please don’t be this upset that you don’t have to take your medication”

He accepted the glass of water and the pills she presented to him, he threw the pills into his mouth before gulping down the glass of water..

Charlotte smiled in content, at least he got to take the pill that was all she cared about..

Meanwhile…

Ray’s smile broadened when he saw the chocolate cake Arya brought to the dining table, he raised his head to her once more..

“You made a happy cake?”

Arya nodded, she tapped her forehead with a sigh..

“Let me get the forks alright?”

Ray nodded to see her leave, as soon as she was out of sight, he swiped off the smile off the smiley face on the cake with his finger and inserted it into his mouth..

“Hmm yummy”

Arya picked the forks out of the racks and was about to head out when she saw a white pill on the counter..

Her brows furrowed confusedly, what was a drug doing in the kitchen? she spotted Charlotte a few minutes ago leaving the kitchen with a glass of water..

“Hmm probably Kyle’s medication I guess”

She picked it up from the marbled slab and threw it into the thrash bin, however something caught her attention..

She inserted her hand into the thrash bin and pulled out a white small bottle, it was clearly one of Kyle’s medications.

She looked into the bin once more only to find more of Kyle’s medications in it..

“Why are these in here?”

“I’m still waiting Naomi”

She heard Ray’s voice outside and hurriedly picked every drug she could find in there after which she took it out with her..

Kyle blinked his eyes to stay awake, he couldn’t afford to sleep now, he was already getting a hang of his company’s project..

“Kyle remember what the doctor said about you stressing yourself? please give yourself a break, after all I heard your sister will be handling the company’s affairs until you recover completely”

He shut his laptop and placed it next to him before rising to his feet where he staggered a bit forward..

“Easy”

Charlotte rushed to his side and slowly led him to the bed..

Few minutes later..

All Charlotte could hear was his deep breaths, she untied her hair just as Kyle always loved in the past..

she raised her hand to his chest that was heaving up and down with each breath he took..

“You’re still as breath taking as ever, I thought I had moved on with my feelings for you over the years, but I think they are even more stronger” she whispered brushing her lips against his cheeks..

Her fingers fondled with the buttons on his shirt and within a minute, his bare chest was before her greedy eyes..

Charlotte raised a finger to his chest drawing small lines on him..

She untied the pink robe she was putting on to reveal a black lace lingerie that exposed a fair amount of her mounds, she pulled off the robe and watched it slowly drop to the ground..

“Just like how we had Ray, we are about to be bounded by another child, just in case you recover your lost memories”

She positioned herself on him as her hands fondled with his belt..

The door was suddenly pushed open by Arya, her eyes went large by what she was witnessing..

her gaze fell on Kyle who was unconscious or perhaps drugged by her who knows?

“You sneaky b*tch! get out! now!”

Arya’s teeth gritted in annoyance, she matched straight to Charlotte and sent a slap to her face when she was close enough..

Charlotte retaliated pushing Arya away from her, she picked up her bath robe from the ground and dorned it on..

She charged in full speed to Arya, only got Arya to grab her hair and pushed her into the shower room, after which she locked it..

She returned next to Kyle examining him for a while, as if possessed by a demon she sent a slap to his wife..

“You fool! you just laid like a log of wood while she tried to have her way with you!”

Kyle’s eyes snapped open he suddenly reached out to Arya’s hand and pulled her to him..

She crashed on his body and was startled when he suddenly turned over and pinned her to the bed..

Arya’s eyes widened, she blinked her eyes and noticed that one of her contact lens was gone..
