One of Kyle’s arm left her waist to her hair, and with a single pull, her ponytail was let loose to flow down her shoulder..

Arya let out a gasp which Kyle took as an opportunity to further pry into her mouth, he felt the heat rising within him..

All he wanted to know was who this lady was to him and why she was able to bring out this other side of him?

Arya was so lost in the moment to figure out what Kyle was really up to, she felt her eyeglasses leaving her face in the next instance..

He pulled away from her gently to take a closer look at her face..

“So when are you going to tell me everything I need to know?”

“Huh?”

The corner of Kyle’s lips pulled up into a teasing smile.

“Don’t feign ignorance.. Naomi, you know there’s really no way I forgot what happened this morning.. Charlotte wasn’t with me in the last five years, something is definitely fishy and by the looks of things you know a lot that I don’t know”

Arya’s heart skipped a beat, Kyle knew everything? but why was he pretending not to know?

All throughout the night, Arya was cuddled up on her bed feeling uneasy, if Charlotte finds out that Kyle knows everything who knew what she might do next?

It was a good thing that they don’t share the same room anymore which was a big relief to her…

“I’m sure Mia can help”

She sat up on her bed with her phone ready to scroll out Mia’s number when she heard a little thud in her room..

Her eyes rounded in fright staring at the dark feminine silhouette that just came in through her window..

She turned on her bedside lamp which illuminated the room and also to reveal Mia’s teasing smile..

“Gotcha!”

“What the f*ck Mia?! you scared the living day light out of me!”

Mia pulled off her dark hoodie with a snort, she joined Arya on the bed pulling the duvet over to her feet..

“Ah! relax, I’m not a thief”

“Why don’t you just use the door like a normal human being?”

Mia rolled her eyes “Please stop being my mum okay? I love coming in that way.. Ray is used to it, I was with him a while ago and he told me everything that happened today”

Arya sighed giving up her initial query, today was quite weird especially Kyle’s behavior..

“Thank goodness you came I was just about to call you before you broke in, Kyle knows the truth about Charlotte”

Mia’s grin widened almost reaching her ears, that was a very good news..

“Wow really?!”

Arya placed her palm against Olivia’s mouth to stop her from screaming, Charlotte’s room wasn’t so far away from hers..

“Keep your voice down.. Charlotte might hear you” she said in a hushed tone which Mia nodded to..

“Yeah.. and I think Kyle has a thing for me”

Mia’s brows shot up in amusement, well this was a new piece of information, even in the dimly lit room she could see the blush on Arya’s cheeks..

“What? he does?”

“Yeah I guess.. we kissed” Arya said smiling sheepishly, her thoughts drifted back to the kiss a few hours ago….

Mia’s lips pulled up into a mocking laugh, was Arya really serious right now?

“You mean he kissed Naomi Sinclair and not Arya Carter?” Mia corrected to see the confusion etched on Arya’s face..

“Aren’t we the same?”

“You’re the same but Kyle doesn’t know that.. so..”

Arya’s teeth gritted in annoyance “That cheating punk! he dared to kiss another woman!”

Mia erupted in laughter, okay, Arya’s expression was priceless but she really didn’t mean any harm when she pointed this out..

“Come on stop being a dumbass! I got something for you though”

Arya’s expression relaxed as her gaze fell on the three movie tickets stretched before her..

“Seriously Mia? movie tickets?”

Mia took hold of Arya’s hand and placed two of the tickets on her palm..

“Not any other movie.. but a live movie, I spoke to my friend who owns the movie theatre.. we have to bring my brother back one way or another..”

Arya stared down at the ticket she was holding, she doubted if Kyle would be willing to go along with her..

“Hey.. this just gave me an idea Mia, but what exactly are we going to do to Charlotte?”

Mia picked up her hoodie and stepped out of the bed..

“Leave her to me.. she won’t bother to show her face tomorrow, Kyle and Ray are all yours for three hours”

“Where are you going?” Arya asked seeing as Mia was getting all set to leave the room..

“To pay Charlotte a little visit” she winked teasingly before leaving the room, this time through the door..

Arya was left to the silent room once more, she stared at the tickets on her palm..

In a bright room, morning rays seeped in through the slightly opened curtains, everywhere seemed peaceful as two figures were intertwined on the king sized bed in the room..

The sound of a phone ringing reached Bryan’s ear, he reached his hand for it on the nightstand table in a drowsy state..

He placed it against his ear with his eyes still closed..

“Hmm” he hummed in reply..

Suddenly he sat up startling the lady snuggled close to him..

He tossed his phone back on the bed, where the lady was now awake gwaking at him in confusion..

“Get the f*ck out already!”

He wore his pants and picked up his white shirt which was now stained with red lipstick on some parts..

“Sh*t! you did this didn’t you?!” He barked harshly at the lady who was untangling her hair which was all messed up..

“You weren’t this grumpy last night.. what suddenly changed?”

Bryan picked up his suit jacket and slid it on after which he picked up his wallet from the table..

He opened it and pulled out a few bills placing it on the table..

“Get rid of your scent in this room and leave before I get back!” he stated firmly and bolted out through the door..

Just what on earth was he thinking getting so drunk that he had a stand again!

Meanwhile…

Alice went on her knees crying and begging her daughter to get off the edge of the balcony which was two storey high..

“Get down Lora! please don’t do this!”

Cynthia arrived at the scene with her husband, they were left speechless as they saw what Lora was up to..

“Has she lost her mind?!”

Alice rose up from the ground to Cynthia who just spoke..

“This is all your son’s fault!”

Charles stepped in between the two women who were about to start one of their brawls..

“That’s enough Cynthia.. not another word!”

The screeching sound of a car was heard as a black car pulled over..

Bryan stepped out of the car hurriedly and his eyes widened .

“Lora! are you crazy! move away from the edge!”

Lora’s chest heaved up and down as tears flowed freely from her eyes..

“I can’t Bryan! I want to end it! my life has been ruined already, I just lost my child and I’m not able to conceive a child anymore! why should I live? no man will be willing to marry a barren lady do you get that!” She yelled back down at him..

“Lora.. please come down I’m sure we can talk this out! please!”

Lora closed her eyes in fright staring down at them, she moved an inch forward ready to jump off..

Charles matched straight to his son and seized his shirt..

“What are you waiting for?! you caused this so you better finish this off! our family’s name shouldn’t be tainted because of something that you did!”

Bryan moved back a little after he was released by his dad, he looked up to Lora who was only a few inches from falling off..
