At the start of the year, Craig had been toying with the idea of starting his own delivery business.
He had managed to save up a decent sum, enough to consider not sinking it all into a mortgage. Craig was well aware that driving trucks wasn't going to cut it for him in the long run.
But gathering the seed money he needed was going to take time!
Then Aurora came into his life unexpectedly...
Making the whole buy-a-house-and-settle-down plan a bit more urgent. His calculations had to be redone.
Now, all his plans, all his considerations for the future, seemed like a big joke!
His life savings of over a decade probably couldn't match what Aurora spent on lattes in a month.
The gap between them was daunting. If it were smaller, Craig might not have been so hung up on breaking up. But it was just too wide.
