The guardian's sword

Chapter 2626

Something glimmered coldly in the dead-end alley as two assassins thrust their daggers toward Sean from two directions. However, Sean remained motionless as if he did not see the two assassins or their daggers.

Watching their daggers about to touch Sean, assassins from Darkness revealed a smirk. However, as soon as they smirked, Sean's indifferent voice rang in their ears. "Aren't you two feeling smug a little too early?"

The assassins' expressions changed immediately, realizing something was amiss.

Since Sean could easily defeat or even severely injure two Grandmaster elders from Sky Sect, it meant Sean was not weaker than them.

Having such strength, how could Sean fail to detect their movements or even the trajectory of their daggers? Even if Sean could not block their daggers, he could have dodged before the daggers pierced his body. However, Sean stood there silently like a statue.

Just as the daggers were about to touch Sean, he suddenly spoke up.

The reason for this situation could only mean one thing.

Sean was not afraid of the daggers in their hands. Sean was even intentionally not dodging, waiting for the two to attack him. Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

"Oh no! Leave!" One of the assassins yelled suddenly.

The daggers aimed at Sean immediately retracted, and the two quickly stepped back.

"Do you think you can escape?" Sean's amused voice rang again before the two could retreat further.

The next moment, the two assassins felt pressure around their necks as Sean's hands gripped each assassin's throat and yanked them back while they were still retreating.

A terrifying force erupted instantly. The two assassins did not even have time to react before feeling a sharp pain in their heads. When they came to their senses, they found their faces inches away from each other. Both of them had bruises on their foreheads, indicating that they had collided with each other earlier, which caused them to be in this situation.

As the two looked into each other's eyes, fear and panic had already taken over. The next moment, the two exchanged a glance and simultaneously lifted their hands holding the dagger and stabbed at Sean.

"Still won’t give up?" Sean asked indifferently.

Sean suddenly raised his arms and slammed the assassins down to the ground.

Thud! Thud!

Two dull thuds rang almost at the same time. Sean slammed the two assassins to the ground. Their hands holding the daggers hit the ground first. Their arms were now twisted while the daggers clattered to the ground.

Their consciousness became befuddled. As assassins, they knew this was the precursor to unconsciousness.

Instinctively, they immediately bit down hard on their tongues. They were on the verge of passing out but immediately snapped back to full consciousness.
